A Cambridge University graduate guide will take you on a 90-minute enthralling journey through time as you will be recounted to the colourful story of Cambridge and its famous university, while providing you with a wonderful insight into student life.

On this enthralling 90-minute walking tour you will see where the structure of D.N.A was discovered, visit famous chapels and libraries, listen to anecdotes, see where famous alumni studied from Prince Charles, Sir Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking, all while taking in views of famous architecture with over 800 years of history.

This public tour which will be conducted in English and starts at 1pm at King's College entrance on King's Parade.

The tour will cover sights such as Trinity Hall College, Trinity College, Corpus Christi College, Pembroke College, Queens’ College, King’s College, Clare College, The Senate House, Gonville and Caius College, St Catherine’s College, Great St Mary’s Church, The Eagle Pub, Corpus Christi college, The Round Church, Famous town Stories and much more...

Your punting tour will begin shortly after your walking tour and will include an experienced local guide who will explain all the famous history of 8 colleges and 9 bridges from the colleges backs along the River Cam. You are welcome to bring refreshments on board and will be welcomed to a free punting lesson during your tour.

It was an enjoyable Walking Tour of Cambridge with a graduate student from Cambridge. Fascinating, beautiful town with amazing architecture. The short Punting Tour along the Cam River was interesting - had an informative, entertaining punter I guess that's the term who fed us all tidbits of historical gossip.

Really good walking tour with Catherine. As a University student she had done a lot of research on all the Colleges and made a great effort to ensure that we had an enjoyable walk. She took us down to the river for the punt trip. Equally as enjoyable. Worth the money especially if you only have a short time in Cambridge

5 cheaper per person if we had gone straight to the college. visit famous chapels and libraries means seeing them from a distance, maybe because all the colleges were closed for exams so we got no further than the entrance doorway, but we weren't told about this when we booked. Punt guide was nice, just not very talkative, luckily the river is so crowded we tagged alongside some other boats and listened to their guides! Would wait until we were in Cambridge to choose our tours next time.
