This tour was a 40 minute ATV ride through some jungle-like areas around a beautiful beach. The ride itself was not overly exciting- we rode over some dirt paths through the jungle/forest. The tour makes it sound like you stop at the beach and are able to swim/relax before heading back on your ATV but this it NOT the case- you will just drive on the beach for a few minutes and then head back to drop off your ATV, and then you are given some free time to explore the beach on your own. The tour guides were very friendly and made the experience fun. They also give you complimentary chips/salsa and soda. This tour is not long- including pick up and drop off from our hotel in downtown Cancun, it only took about 3 hours so you'll have lots of time for other activities.

Loved the tour and the guide. Views were awesome. My only complaint is that for the money, the tour should have been longer. There should also be details in the advertisement noting that the base rate is for a double occupancy atv and that each_br/_ Person having a single atv is more money.

This was a very boring tour. Very disappointing! I have been on several others and this was by far the worst. We drove in paths in the woods that were very short, you have to stay in a line behind all the other riders, not able to pass, very SLOW. Previous tours they would let us open it up and ride around on our own, not in format. Very short ride, like 45 minutes. I would NEVER recommend this one. Then to make it worse the transportation made us wait for almost 2 hours for our ride back because we had to wait for the other people to do an addition tour.

We went on this excursion with my step son and my aunt. Everyone had a blast, my aunt hit a tree at the end and their medical attention was awesome. They transported us to a hospital near our hotel and had someone stay with us from beginning to end then dropped us off at our hotel.

This was awesome!! Such beautiful sights and great for all ages. I liked having my own ATV so I recommend just getting your own it is not that hard compared to a Vespa in Italy. Bring a go pro for sure because they do not let you have your phone or camera to take pictures since you are driving the whole time.

Absolutely amazing! A definite highlight of our trip. Just a couple recommendations: amend the description to remove the stop at the beach along the tour - we didn't stop during the tour as I had thought, the tour was about an hour and I had hoped to do the beach run once more as it was the best part, and finally to include some data entry when booking to give your resort/pick up location and to say that the pick up time will be emailed or that you have to call I would have preferred an email though instead of calling. Overall so worth it and very professional establishment.

ATV:_br/_ The ATV ride was roughly 45 minutes timed on my watch although it states 90 minutes online. The area is picturesque and the ride was great but again, time was a factor. You get one drink and a light snack included which is homemade nachos and dip, enough to share between two.

Not worth the money. The ATV's were excellent but the so-called tour was very short, designed for very large groups, not very challenging, and simply not worth the dollar. From Cancun, it's a 1 hour ride to get to the location, a 1 hour return to Cancun, 15 minutes of paper work and 20 minutes of standing in line.

Afterwards we were able to swim In a Cenotes and climb around and through stalactites and stalagmite's. Not sure if this was a 'great' price. It might have been since things are expensive in Cancun. However, the ATV ride took about 45 minutes and it's an hour drive out and an hour drive back to the hotels in Cancun. I'd combine this activity with one of the other things going on at this resort. There were other things like speed boats, camel rides, dolphin swims, etc...

The 50 mins ATV ride was the best part of my trip. Lots of fun going through the woods, jungle as well as the beach. Only caution is that we only booked this one tour at the site. You are shipped off to a hotel site that has at least 15 other activities available to do. We were done with the ATV by 10:00 ish but had to wait around till 12:30 for your shuttle back. Make sure you book at least 2 activities, e.g. Snorkeling or parasailing, to make the best use of your time. Otherwise you will be sitting at their restaurant or beach area for a good two hours.

This tour should be called the "Hurry Up and Wait Excursion". They pick you up hours before your tour, make you sit and wait for at least 45 minutes, and then it's like a bad trail ride. You go one behind the other. There is no going fast or adventure of any kind... Then, you sit and wait for another hour or more for your transportation back to your hotel or cruise ship. Spend your money on something better like the Zipline and Off-Road Buggy Adventure!

This tour is a waste of time and money. Description states the tour is 1 1/2 hours long, well it is 55 minutes. Description states they take you down by the water, well they do about 1000 feet away, basically they drive you around in circles for 55 minutes through some trees. TOTAL WASTE !!!!!

The actual ATV ride was about 45 mins but with transportation to and from, the entire thing was about a half day. The ride was fun. First you drive through a jungle type scene followed by sand dunes. And you go fast too!!! Not to mention it takes place on Maroma beach which is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen. Definitely don't do the ATV alone. Do multiple activities like speed boat or snorkelling. The place is worth spending the entire day there.

I had booked this tour through Viator for June 2010. Unfortunately the tour company didn’t have a record of my booking so they had to contact Viator for all the details. This was eventually sorted out. The pickup information provided was incorrect and when I was at the correct location the transport was 20 mins late. The transport took 45 mins to get to Marina Maroma with a driver who didn’t say anything the whole way not even to the customers who spoke Spanish.
I’m not sure what the times on the Viator website mean as I booked their 1pm tour but the pickup was at 1.30pm and the afternoon activities didn’t start until 3pm and then the only time you can get the transport back is at 5.30pm.
The ATV’s were not automatic as advertised on the website. The total time on the ATV was 45 mins and you just go around a track on the hotel property and then back down a road that has cars and mini busses on it. You DO NOT go for a ride on the ATV’s to a beach, have a swim then get back on the ATV’s and return.
Marina Maroma has a very nice beach but you can’t really go swimming there as the Jet Ski’s and boats go in and out from this area. You can spend the day there and do several activities but you tend to feel that you are just herded around.
At the end of the day 4.30pm they open up a restaurant area and you can get free soft drinks and chips. However, throughout the rest of the day you have to pay.

The ATV itself was not bad, but the webiste says it's a 5 hours tour, but instead it only a apx 3 hours tour. We only drive ATV for 45 minutes and that was it.

The ATV tour itself was great. Getting hooked up with our tour rep to get our boarding passes was a nightmare. We were not able to get to go on the original day we wanted because we could not find the rep, then the next day we kept getting told the wrong times and places to meet with him. Finally we found him by calling every five minutes to have them track him down, so we were finally able to get our passes. I will not use this tour group again! We were not the only tourists that were having this problem with them.
