The boat trip was very nice. Monaco itself was kind of boring. If I was to do an excursion again I would Likely cross the border into Italy and see the Roman ruins.

We enjoyed this cruise and found it a great way to enjoy the views along the coastline. It offered the perfect amount of time_br/_ to explore Monaco on our own. The captain and the guide were knowledgeable and accommodating. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because we had a difficult time hearing the tour guide. It could have been a result of us opting to sit in the back of the boat rather than inside or up above. I would recommend this cruise. What a great way to get to Monaco!

A wonderful day out. Scenery on both the boat trip to Monaco and in Monaco itself was spectacular. Seeing how the other half live with Ferraris etc driving around everywhere was fun and having the opportunity to just explore for ourselves once we got there was great. As Monaco is so small there was plenty of time to take it all in. Highly recommend getting the hop on hop off bus which leaves not far from where the boat arrives to take in all the sights. _br/_ Guide on the boat was very knowledgable in showing us all the houses of the rich and famous along the Riviera coastline on the way home.

Wasn't happy at all. Departed Nice on time. Commentary was on but we couldn't hear anything. Great views but still none the wiser as to who owned any houses, villas, palaces whatever. Arrived In Monaco within 45 mins. We were given our return time of 16:45 which gave us plenty of time in Monaco. Very confusing place. Very steep hills. Queues for hop on hop off tour were long. We allowed lots of time tor return to our departure point. But we were 30 mins late. Naturally the boat had returned to Nice. The harbours all look the same. A map should have been provided to each passenger, highlighting the departure harbour. We had to book a taxi to return to Nice. Not a happy traveller, waste of 80.

When you arrive in Monaco it's a little confusing on how to see the area. I suggest the bus tour where you can get on and off. Great way to learn about the area.

We did not go to the tour due to our last minute changing schedule and miss communication. The company operating the tour was very accommodating and allowed us to take the tour on a different day. However, our schedule did not allow us to do that. One thing keep in mind: the tour only goes to Monaco on Certain days so not easy to switch the dates if your schedule changes. Also, they drop you off in the morning and pick you up in the evening. You will need to arrange transportation if need to leave early. Train would be the best option if that is the case.

The crew were all characters and as well as offering reasonably priced refreshments on board, they also provided an impromtu commentary on various highlights along the coast! This was an unexpected extra and really made the trip more enjoyable and memorable! It was something a little different which we have never tried before but would definitely do again. Coming in to the harbour/port at Monaco felt very grand and there was a shopping mall with a famous Fast Food Restaurant there as well which was a nice surprise._br/_
We would recommend it as a way of getting to Monaco, and advise anyone taking any of the boat trips to make sure they arrive in plenty of time... a lady at the ticket window in front of us was a minute or so late for her trip to St Tropez, and could only stand and watch as her boat sailed past us all. To be fair, they do stress the importance of being on time, so take heed. Also if you suffer from sea-sickness make sure you take the appropriate tablets as the sea can be surprisingly choppy, especially as there are lots of very fast boats/yachts on the sea._br/_
Will definitely do it again when we go to Nice in the future, as it was one of the highlights of our stay!!!!!!!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon to France from Washington DC with a one day excursion to Monaco. We easily found the loading dock where the boat was and everyone was very friendly. The boat was clean, the men who worked on the ship/sailed us to Monaco were super nice. They told us about the different places we were passing and the view was incredible. We purchased wine on the boat on the way back and enjoyed more tourist info about the different buildings and structures we passed as we sailed. The whole experience was very wonderful. I highly recommend adding this to your schedule if you can instead of taking a bus or train.
