The one day ticket allows you to enhance your experience of this remarkable city and can be used for both Red and Blue Route.
The Red Route City Tour has 12 stops, including the Two Oceans Aquarium, Table Mountain Cableway and Camps Bay Beach. The Blue Route Peninsula Tour has 14 stops, including Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, World of Birds and Winchester Mansions. The Blue Route includes a free wine tour in the oldest wine-making region in South Africa.
When you purchase the two-day ticket, you’ll get a free night tour that includes Cape Town’s famous sunset over the Atlantic Ocean and a Hop-on Hop-off Canal Cruise.
You can hop on and off as many times as you like, allowing you to set your own pace and see the attractions you want. Each route takes approximately two hours. Buses depart from each stop every 15 on the Red Route and every 20 minutes on the Blue Route.

Great way to get an overview of Cape Town. The 2-day pass is the way to go since it included the water cruise around the V and A Waterfront Harbour and the sunset bus to Signal Hill.

The most cost effective way to see the main sights in Cape Town. Pick out the places worth visiting and see them in detail later without all the walking. I booked the 2 day ticket, blue and red route which included the wine route to Hoote Constantia and the harbour tour by boat. I have used Big Bus in 6 locations though out the world and have never been disapointed.

GREAT SERVICE . WE ALWAYS BOOK THIS BUS WHEN WE GO TO CAPE TOWN BUT HAVE TO GO AND QUE AT THE TICKET OFFICE. THIS WAY WAS MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER. GREAT SERVICE . Great way of seeing the city if your short of time or getting to a point of interest in capetown inexpensively. We booked the red route primarily to get the cable car up table mountain and to spend a bit of time in camps bay which was great.

The HOHO is a great way to see the city and decide which stops you might want to come back to. I was there in November and there was great weather. However, if you sit on the upper level be sure and bring a scarf or hoodie. It can become quite breezy.

This was a fantastic way to see Cape Town. The 2 day pass gave us time to take all 3 routes around and in the city, and get off at various points of interest. The commentary was excellent, easy to understand and very informative. Wonderful views from the top deck - but take a jacket, it can get breezy even on warm days and remember the sunscreen. Would highly recommend to people travelling to Cape Town.

The hop-on/hop-off tour is one that everyone should take regardless of how many visits to Capetown. The route covered on the red tour was exactly what I wanted. The narration was clear and precise in describing the attractions for each stop, the earphones worked very well. Part of the upstairs deck is covered with plexiglass to keep out the rain and direct sunlight--much appreciated.

Takes you to many of the places you need to go to in Cape Town. Absolute bargain - get the 48 hour and even if you don't use it the second day - it's still cheap and saved me a few cab journeys when I realised I could take it back to my hotel after Robben Island etc.

A well planned service that takes you to most places of interest, the include ear phones allow you to listen to an interesting and informative commentary. It was particularly useful to get to the wineries and although we had a separate trip to the main winery areas, Constancia has a lovely winery to visit which gives an excellent tour at a very reasonable cost. We used the Red Bus for two things: an overview of the Cape Town area, and transportation around the area. We found that Viator did well in both regards. The availability of the buses wad excellent. We did use the audio facilities, which were quite good. We set up for a two-day ticket, and were glad we did! On the second day we got even more use of the hop-on, hop-off feature, and used both the two major red bus routes as well as the yellow bus downtown route. We would recommend this service to anyone who want to get an inexpensive but thorough tour of Cape Town.
