The Capilla de Los Vélez covered by a ten-pointed star vault and profusely decorated it is one of the best parts of the cathedral. Admire the Real Casino of Murcia with its different rooms and hall, built in a little palace on 11 June 1847. One of the splendour of this building is due to the Moorish patio or the Pompeian Patio. You will be back to the 19th century visiting this palace.

You will then proceed to see Cartagena´s pier and your guide will tell you about the early history of Cartagena. You will then visit the Interpretation Center of the Punic Walls, and also the Roman Theater, which was discovered by chance and recently restored.
Along the Calle Mayor you’ll get a general idea about the economic boom of the 19th century and how it developed and shaped the buildings, for instance the Town Hall. You will also visit the Cervantes House and the Grand Hotel, which was built in the style of the Viennese and French Modernist schools.
