Museums are fine. City Pass or the service provider, don't care which, forcing me to have to print a voucher out has made this a ridiculous experience. I first tried to buy it on my phone, but the app kept freezing up during the purchase every other app worked fine, and then I moved to my computer. On my phone, I supposedly would have had a mobile voucher. However, since I bought it on the computer, after I got the receipt, I noticed it said I could not use it as a mobile voucher - would not be available at the museums where you need to switch it for the books even though it is simply a bar code like any other voucher would be. The business center in the hotel has its own set of problems, but the simple fact is, it is ridiculous in this day and age to not have a system that makes use of mobile vouchers regardless. The effort we have had to go through trying to find a place to print out the voucher has made this not worth it in our books.

Unfortunately, not all of the attractions honored the fast pass aspect of our CityPass. We had to wait in multiple lines at 360 Chicago because no one seemed to know what was going on. When we got to the 96th floor several of us were told to go to the left while others went to the right. It was very confusing and no one seemed to care whether or not visitors had a good experience. At the Field Museum, we waited in line with everyone else despite our CityPass. No special or fast pass entry existed at the Art Institute. The only place the fast pass actually worked as promised was Shedd Aquarium. They had a special line for CityPass holders. Overall we saved money but there was very little time savings which was a big reason we bought CityPass.

Reduce the lines with a CityPASS! We did the math if you are going to all the places CityPass offers it's a better value with extra services you'd play even more for at the venue. Best part, busy places, have CityPASS lines that save you TIME! It was a very good value. BTW, do the Sears Tower, aka Willis, early in the morning!

The PASS is great HOWEVER the process of getting it was frustrating. All the promotional material indicated that a PAPER voucher rather than an electronic barcode was required to present to the museums. I waited for over an hour at a Staples to get the voucher faxed to me from Viator. When I arrived at the first museum, I found that I could have purchased the Pass there without the hassle I had just undergone to print out the voucher.

Great deal, AMAZING CITY. HIGHLY recommended! Didn and #39;t love the Adler Planetarium, the shows made me dizzy, but it probably just isn and #39;t for everyone. You can see the city line from the back of the planetarium anyways, which was my ultimate goal for photos. I wish I had chosen the Art Institute.

The City pass was an amazing purchase - Not only did we save money on all of the admissions, but we walked past everyone on line and got right to the front of the line at each museum and the towers! It even included things that would have been an extra charge had we just purchased single day tickets! We went to the Sears Tower, The Field Museum, The Shedd Aquarium, The Art Institute and the Museum of Science of Technology where we got to see and walk thru the only German Submarine on display in the US. Well worth the money! We visited over three days and enjoyed being able to spread things out. We saw Hancock during the day and Willis at night. You need to allow for several hours at the aquarium. No problem at all using the pass and being able to bypass ticket lines was great. Enjoy.
