To complete your exciting Chicago experience, head to the Ledge, a glass balcony showcasing unbeatable views of Chicago’s top attractions like Wrigley Field and the Navy Pier. With mobile tickets, simply scan your phone for direct entry into the SkyDeck

Marvel at Chicago from an unparalleled viewpoint during this exciting Skydeck experience. Located in Willis Tower, formerly Sears Tower, the Skydeck offers spectacular sweeping vistas of Chicago and beyond from the 103rd floor. Walk out onto the Ledge, a glass box-like balcony that extends 4.3 feet (1.3 meters) from the building, and experience an unconventional view--straight-down! Admire the lofty views of top Chicago attractions, like Wrigley Field, the Navy Pier and Millennium Park, all from a breathtaking height of 1,353 feet (412.4 meters). On a clear day, you can see up to 50 miles (80.5 km) out! It’s also the perfect vantage point for great sunset and twinkling nightscape views. Bring your camera or treat yourself to a professional photo available at the gift shop.

You can also explore several exhibits designed for the whole family, like interactive digital floor displays, touch-screen activities and scavenger hunts that not only highlight Chicago's iconic landmark, but also celebrate the Windy City's sports, architecture, pop culture, history, food, music and people. Challenge yourself with a Chicago trivia game, compare the heights of the tallest structures in the world, and see just how many of your bodies it would take to reach the height of Willis Tower.

Over hyped and thus too crowded.A marketing feat. Can be dispensed with.Save your money and time wasted especially because of the waiting time because of the crowd.

I can't believe this was 4 years ago, it feels like yesterday. We had a morning experience and it was amazing, I loved the glass floor and the views were just fantastic. The booking of this was easy and the first one I ever used. It was easy to check in and a good price too.

This was an awesome experience! Had beautiful weather so could see the city and Lake Michigan very clearly! Even though the crowd was rather large (probably being just before Christmas), the line to the Skydeck went smoothly.

3 stars out of 5. The lineup for the Willis Tower Skydeck was ridiculous. I specifically chose an off season October in hopes to avoid long waits, but perhaps it's busy all 12 months of the year. It was just shy of 2 hours from the time I entered the line, to reaching the elevator to the Skydeck. The other reason for my 3 stars is the booking promo code from Viator was to be for 10 off, but they gave me 5 instead. Not the end of the world, but I am mentioning it for the principle of the matter. As a customer I was offered a 10 off promotion, but given a 5 code once booking. I still have the original emailed offer, and re-read it before writing this review. Classic case of bait and switch, the customer usually loses.

Always an amazing experience to step on that glass and feel like you are going to fall. Got a great picture as well!

As we were visiting in October if I was coming again, I wouldn't book ahead as the day we booked for was cloudy and we didn't get great views. The cost of the photos they take is very expensive and they aren't much good so if you are going onto the ledge make sure you take your own photos which will be much better. Would love to go up on a clear day

It's scary to step onto the edge!!! Get a picture! Go early to avoid the long line and buy online ahead of the line to bypass the entrance line.

The signage is pretty poor and you can skip the line having pre bought your pass with Viatour, but there is nothing to tell you this. So be bold, ignore the queue after security and go straight to the check in desk.

We arrived at 10.00 am and the queues were already starting to go around the block. Even with pre-purchased tickets it was still difficult to get in. you queued to get to the video show then queued to get the lift and when finally at floor 103 you queued to get onto the ledge, The good thing about the last queue was this was controlled to allow each person or couple to take pictures apart from the obligatory pre installed picture system. After 2.5 hours still worth the experience of looking down 103 floors standing on a piece of glass. Pictures cost 40 but there were various backgrounds included

It is cheaper to buy at the place itself.

Went to use the binoculars and two of them were broken. Only found out after we put the money in. Told guy working the gift shop who told me to speak to the person working the elevator as they are in charge of it. Person working the elevator told me there was nothing he could do and had to speak to someone downstairs. No urgency to put a sign on the binoculars that there were not working. Never did get the 1 back.

Since my daughter was graduating from boot camp, we did not get to go. The line was to long and she had to get back to the base. We were going to try the next day but our flight was coming up and the wait was over 2 hrs.

I had come to Chicago a month or so back for Memorial Day weekend, and the line for this this on a Sunday was out the door with 2 hour wait. I passed on doing this at that time, and decided next time in Chicago, I would come during the middle of the week at the beginning of the day, and avoid the rush. That worked like a charm.

I would NOT recommend buying tickets online for the Skydeck. We did and got over there to find out the wait time was 2 1/2 hours long. Buying online allows you to only skip the ticket line.....which is after the security line. You still have to wait in the security line which was over 2 hours. So unless you are really certain you will wait in line for however long, I would absolutely recommend just going over without a ticket!!! Buy tickets there! We did not have time to wait the 2 1/2 hours so we had to leave. We gave our tickets to someone else in line. So we spent 69 for nothing. Not a great experience.

We arrived early to beat the crowds. Pre-purchasing the tickets saved us an extra 30 minute wait as well. The views are spectacular.

We didn't have to wait in the normal line to get in the building. We had VIP access, and it paid off, as we were able to spend more time on the top deck learning about the city and it's history.

Worth it to see this amazing view. The line goes really quick so it wasn't too much of a wait to get to the top. Be brave and have a picture on the glass ledge it's a thrilling experience!
