Good tour well organised and value for money. Hotels were of good standard considering the low season they were well staffed and the meals provided were local produce and very agreeable.Guide spoke English and Spanish local guides were very good as well. Viator outsource to another company to run the tour they were very good. We did not enjoy visiting artisans where there was a sales pitch and possibly a kick back somewhere along the lines. This is usual in this type of tour but a it old hat now. Two of my party were elderly and found the Medina in Fes a little too much walking but that is how the place is built. One of my party needed a Doctor the guide was excellent in looking after this. All in all 1650 Kms maybe just too much for one trip but you are packing in a lot.

Hours upon hours on a bus. Was not an english speaking tour. Mixed group of Spanish and english. Most of the tour was in spanish. Time the guide got around to english the site was long gone. Additionl shows four times overpriced. Second show was so bad it was painful to set through. 1 hotel not good

Not worth your time or money. One hotel four Star hotel great on outside maybe two stars for the rooms. One couple paid to go stay somewhere else. Food ok not great. Tour mostly in spanish. Not english.

The itinerary was ok, the bus was clean and comfortable, as were the hotels. Our guide was knowledgable, but volunteered very little. We learned more in two hours with a local guide in Fez than we did during the entire tour with our main guide. I was expecting him to explain some of the history, geography, and culture of Morocco, but he did almost none of this. Morocco is a fascinating country with friendly people and beautiful sights. The guide should do more to show all this.

The one star is for the air conditioned coach and good hotels. The tour is rushed, poorly coordinated and under informative. Mr Karim added little to the experience except for our tour of Rabat which was limited to 1.5hrs at a McDonalds in a shopping centre. Do you self a favour and do a proper tour

The tour was good value for money but there were several major problems_br/_ 1. The tour was a joint spanish/english speaking tour and this presents difficulties with the guide having to repeat commentary and generally was not as good in english as in spanish which led to some confusion_br/_ 2 The tour could be improved if all stayed at the one hotel as the dropping off and picking up also split the group and also presented logistical problems_br/_ 3 The most important point was that participants were advised that they would be returned to Malaga at he end of the tour by 6pm. Many people made travel arrangements based on this information and the tour did not get back until 10pm which is not satisfactory and caused significant problems

We visited all the places we wanted to see but it was a bit rushed. We only had 4 other English speaking people on the bu and they didn't stay in our hotels. The first 2 hotels were very good but the last one in Fes was ordinary. I would mice it 3 stars not 4. Local English speaking guides were very good.

Be prepared to sit in a bus for 3.5 of the 5 days. Tour guide is only informative if you ask him questions more like a chauffer not a guide. Hotels were great, people on the tour GREAT, country great. Tour not so great, itinerary was not followed and rushed. No free time to explore and see on your own.

The tour was overall pretty poor. The English Skills of our guide were absolutly terrible. Worse than terrible. The guides we had at certain sites were great and we ended up learning more from one of the passengers than we got out of our main tour guide. Hotels were really good and the food was really good. Would i do this tour again with someone who doesnt speak English ? Not a chance.

I felt the tour was a bit rushed and didn't get to experience as many things as possible. we spent a lot of time in a vehicle and not so much time taking in the sights and interacting with the people. I would have wanted to spend more time in the marketplace in Marrakesh but our tour guide said we didn't have time, however we spent over two hours in the hotel doing nothing while we could have been out enjoying the morrocan culture and art.

Very uneven. Fez and Marrakech were great. Casablanca, Rabat, were boring. Way too much time on the bus. Some hotels were nice, others not. Hardly anyone on my tour spoke English so I felt isolated. Microphone on bus was poor so half the time no one knew what was said. Beware of the single supplement

This was a great quick way to see a bit of Morocco. Driver was great, guides were good. Hotels were OK for 3 star but ,could have been just a bit better. However, we are not complaining. Overall the trip was a bit rushed - perhaps 6 days would allow a little more time in places. Casablanca is a nothing place, but I expect most people would want to go there because of the name and the movies etc... Marrakech was our favourite place and another night there would have been great. Overall though this tour was good value for money and gave us a quick look at the places mentioned.

The tour to Morocco was good, but we thought it was a english speaking tour and it was in Spanish mostly, with translation in english. Also the bus ride was very long coming back, but bus was comfortable and clean. It was sad that we could not see the largest mosque in Marrakech, I think time should have been allocated to view at least one mosque in Morroco.

This tour is primarily Spanish-speaking and partly translated into English. Most of the tour is spent driving on the bus as it covers too many places in such a short period of time.

Overall a good trip. Need to have a guide in morocco who can speak fluent english. Also, casablanca can probably be eliminated from the itinerary because there is hardly anything worth seeing in that city.

Our tour guide and driver were very pleasant and our local guides were very informative. We enjoyed the sights that we saw, particularly the medina at Fez and Marakesh. There was a lot of time spent in the bus and I would be inclined to alt the itinerary and leave Casablanca off the tour.

I was not given an itinerary before the trip. The hotels we stayed were not quite 4*. The price of trip was affordable. The English of the tour guide wasn't good. There was a general intention to bring us to shops to buy things. _br/_ The trip is definitely worth going and better if more informative.

The five day Moroccan tour met our expectations - value for money, however attention to the following would provide improvements:_br/_ 1. The pick-up times were over an hour late and contact with the Madrid was useless - it would be better to provide a contact number for the tour leader._br/_ 2. Having two levels of accommodation (3 and 4 start) provided logistic problems - only offer 4 star hotels.

Overall I am pleased to have taken the trip .... but will never do it again. The four star hotel in Casablanca is quite bad ... the one in Rabat is excellent, the one in Fez adequate but lacking. The biggest problem centers around the size of our group, and the lack of free time. We had a bus load of 48 and that is toooooo large ... for good communication with the tour guides .... we were a group of about 8 English speaking tourists mixed with 40 Spanish tourists. Our two local guides provided in Marakesh and Fez were both excellent .... and our group small enough to enjoy a good discusson. However on the bus things were different .Kareem was often rambling and switching languages so often thus making the story confusing. There was no explanantion of what the farming communities were doing along the drive (looked interesting ... crops. tools. seasons etc) and there was no advanced print out of what we were going to see and do .... thus it was difficult to prepare ahead of time. I never again want to be part of 48 people trying to match times and desires. The rest room near Meknes was absolutely filthy, whereas the other stops along the highways were excellent. Every one wanted more individual free time. We went twice to the two high lites of Rabat ... the Palace and religious site ... once was enough.

Overall the tour was really great although a lot of time spent moving around between sites. I would totally recommend it to everyone but be aware that the english speaking tour guide doesn't mean an english tour. It's a spanish tour with an english translation. Some time I felt like we got the super short version of what he said in spanish. Other than that it was awesome and the local guides were terrific and that's when we got split into spanish and english groups

There were some definite issues with the bus that interfered with the enjoyment of the tour. Some seats were broken, arm rests were broken, air vents could not turn on or turn off and the cushions were so broken down that you were sitting on a bar. If I had it to do over again, I would select a tour that skipped Casablanca - not much benefit from the overnight there. I would also skip Marrakech as the market is much better in Fez and there was a lot of driving to get the group down to Marrakech and back again. Had a great time in Fez. We went to the extra dinner in Fez and that was good and was fun. We also went to the extra dinner in Marrakech - we did not feel it was a particularly god use of our time - plus it was very cold so you need to take a warm jacket if you go). Would recommend a shorter tour to Fez.

Land of Babs: Gave 2 stars due to safety factor related to travel on a bus (big thanks to our driver). As an average tourist, expect to see lots of Babs (gates) on your trip! And if you are an English speaking tourist, forget about an explanation in English, better to learn some Spanish on the bus. Bus guide: unprofessional, boarding to rude with neither name tag nor smile to greet us. Muttered explanations under his nose, English words appearing in the middle of the sentence, disappearing as suddenly as they have appeared. I have learned more from Internet about Morocco than from this guide. He wasted our time anytime he could. Hotels: worst in Casablanca (4 star hotel Atlas…) was at best 0 stars…extremely stinky and dirty with limited buffet dinner (water extra for EUR 3 / bottle). Best hotel was in Marrakesh, with a pool for which no time was allotted. We did not spend ridiculous EUR 60-70 on an optional dinner/show set again in a touristy place. Morocco is extremely poor (excluding the king), and you would have thought that tourism would be welcomed in this country. But…with over 99% Muslims living in Morocco, at best you are counted as a walking purse, which at all times must pay for everything (if you make photos of anything! at the market place), without an explanation from the locals as to why. And remember to KEEP OUT! of all the local building interior (including the steps leading to such). The only exception was mausoleum in Rabat, but for the tour price, suggest to visit Turkey instead. Attention, women: if you do not wear a jelaba, better not stroll around unaccompanied by a man, let alone in anything that reveals well…anything. Overall, we overpaid for the services received, I would not recommend this “English-speaking” tour to anyone.

My friend and I had looked forward to this tour with great anticipation and we were totally disappointed. The hotels except for Marrakech were a disgrace. Dirty and certainly not 4 star that we paid for. Buses with no bathroom for long trips, some 5 to seven hours long should not be allowed. As an elderly person going to the market at Marrakech and Fes was not recommended by the guide. If that is to be the case the least Viator should do is include that warning in their advertisements. My friend and I paid for a tour that would include those markets and had we known an elderly person's visit to them was not recommended we most certainly would have not gone in this tour. Our guide Hassan did his best but coping with such a large group, poor meals and disgusting hotels made his job very difficult. The entertainment so advertised left much to be desired considering the price. All in all if I ever went back again I would limit my visit to Marrakech which by the way was not devoted enough time to in the tour and to Fes and Menkes. I most definitely would not recommend this tour._br/_

This tour was a total disappointment. We were in the bus for about 80% of the tour and only stopped whenever our tourguide, Nabil, needed to smoke. We saw more of gas stations and convenience stores in Morocco than we did of Morocco. Our "English" speaking tourguide either did not have a command of the english language, or he just did not like Americans, because he would talk for about 5 minutes in Spanish and then about 30 seconds in English. My husband understands both Spanish and English, so we know for a fact that we were barely getting a brief description of everything on the tour. He was rude and did not answer ANY questions at all. The good things about the trip were our local guides in both Marakesh and Fez. They were fluent in English and very friendly and informative. We had them each for a few hours of the 5 day tour, so this did not make up for the overall low rating of the trip. The travel times between each of these cities needs to be clarified because we literally did not even get out the bus in Meknes and Rabat and yet those are listed as citites on the tour. Very deceptive advertising. The tour company contracted to do this tour had a rating form but I guarantee that our tour guide will not have turned in the forms from 100% of the English speaking participants because we were all wishing we could get our money back or get out the tour somehow but we were literally trapped in a foreign country. We travel extensively, and I happen to be the director of a University Study abroad program by profession, so I am sorry that my first experience with Viator was such.

Positivies: Excellent trip. Hectic and a lot of travel, but efficient and organized, and the best way to visit a country with limited transportation options. Our tour guide was good and kept up on target. 3* Hotel in Marrakech was like a 4*. Negatives: The optional dinner shows are not worth the money (similar shows can be arranged locally for half the price). Fez morning (cultural) tour was really less about culture and going from store to store trying to hard sell fabrics, carpets, and leather goods at inflated prices.

We had a wonderful time and the tour guides were outstanding, the one that pick us up in Spain and the one that took us all over Morocco, Karin. We give them 5 starts. All of the places have something special to see. I would liked an extra day in Marrakech. Also, before the trip it could be helpful more information about what is to see and the whether to be more prepared. But overall we enjoyed very much. It was fantastic Thanks a Million for your great work and the work of your Tour Guides, as I said they are outstanding. Jesus and Elda Garza

We were the only 2 english speaking tourists in our tour group of 10.The others were spainish speaking. We spent far too much time in the bus and not enough time in the towns of Marrakesh or Fez.We had local english speaking guides in each town which mean´t that we had a personalised tour. The hotel in Marrakesh was quite good the other 2 were not 4 star hotels. The food was quite good though. The extra nights entertainment were not very good and quite expensive. One was a horse show and the other was a dance show. Would do the same trip over 7 days to give more time in the cities

Good!! Too tired because too many hours in the road by motorcoach and boat but still that wasn't too bad at all. The Moroccan Tour guide is excelent and the local tour guide girl also. The dinner shows were too expensive for what they have to offer. I would eliminate from the tour the section where they show how the leather is cured by the pigeons defecation. That was awfull!!

The tour was quite interesting. However, unlike a previous tour I took through you in New Zealand, this tour was lacking for the following reasons: 1. Main problem: No bathrooms/toilettes on the buses. 2. Not sufficient bathroom stops. 3. Guides did not speak good English. They gave more information in Spanish than in English. 4. Tours not punctual and many unscheduled changes last minute,. 5. Hotel Sofia in Fez, Marocco was bad, I will not use that again. It is definitely not 4-star., I will not recommend this tour unless they have upgraded their buses to include toilettes and make more frequent stops with better guides and explanations. Also, no help with the luggage.

Morocco was amazing! Our guide was very nice and full of information and jokes. The downside - the tour was conducted mostly in Spanish and we clearly paid for an English speaking tour. So we spent most of the time sleeping on the bus because we couldn't understand anything. Also when we called to confirm, they sent us to the wrong port, in the wrong city, to meet up with the wrong guide who was very rude and dropped us off at some random hotel in Tangiers where we sat for 4 hours waiting for the right tour to pick us up. We didn't make that mistake, they did, but we ended up paying for it. But even after all of that I would still recommend going to Morocco because it was an amazing experience.

One sees a lot on this trip, and the hotels were fine. I liked it because one saw a great portion of Morocco and did not have the hassles of booking, taking public transportation, booking hotels. This can also be the negative because you spend a lot of time on a bus, have no control over your time, and spend a short time in cities where you would like to spend more, Fes and Marrakesh. Price is very good.

One hotel was ok, the other 2 more less, I do not like the restaurants that they took us for meal, not included. I do not like the the 2 main dinners with the Arabic dinner and shows were extra. The prices were to high, more than in Europe 100 euros per two dinners. Some of the visits were get out of the bus, take the picture and go back to the bus, we did not have to much time in some of the places to enjoy more.

Fez and Marrakech were great. All nights should be at those two. Too much time on bus and the term panoramic tour means as we drive through the city you can look at it. Sofia hotel is horrible! No authentic food except in optional events which cost a lot extra.

It was a good group tour, but it could have been better. The hotel in Fez needs to be changed; it is old, it has torn towels and sheets, a smells smoky; in other words, it's not a three-star hotel at all. It might have been helpful to know ahead of time that it was a bilingual tour conducted in Spanish and English, and our guide was better in Spanish than English. When they state "panoramic city tour," it means primarily seeing the city from the tour bus. One needs to know that visiting these five cities entails a lot of time in the bus, something our group did not know about. Plus it would have been nice to have Moroccan food, which was not at the hotel for our dinners.

The major tour guide was dropping us off at Mcdonalds for lunch 2 days. We spent most of the time on the bus, we did not even get to go out and spend a few minutes in several cities that are scheduled in our tour like Tangier, Ceuta. We were dropped off at Casablanca for 15 minutes after I insisted if the cities are listed on our schedule we should be allow to get out of bus and walk around. So basically the only date we really got to see something was in Marakech for half a day of the market and Fez was the first day after we drove for whole day we arrived at the hotel for dinner but nothing more. _br /__br /_ However, the local guide in Fez was super wonderful, he was very funny and he know the local market very well. He showed us some amazing hidden places behind some little ugly isles, was a total world when you step into the little door to find a totally beautiful high ceiling shops and restaurants. We also passed by some strawberry and banana farms on the way, but we did not stop. As usual the tour guide just told us what was passing us by. When I was doing a tour in Beijing, China, the tour gave us a surprise by stopping by a peach farm and letting us pick peaches for an hour. Everyone was so excited.

The tour was run through a guide whom I could not speak more highly of. The whole five days was a really good experience, albeit an awful lot of traveling on the coach, which was perfectly comfortable. Rabat and Meknes were only fleeting visits en-route, not much more time than enough for a stretch of the legs and a chance to take some photographs. Casablanca was a disappointment, not really worth seeing, but you would be disappointed had you have gone to Morocco and not seen it! For me, the highlights were Marrakesh and Fez. Both were quite different. In Marrakesh, we had the most fabulous hotel close to the city. The city is a wonderful amalgam of color, sound, smell, and if you dare, taste! Not for the faint hearted or squeamish, Marrakesh is an assault to your senses and once you have spent an afternoon wandering through the city under the unforgiving North African sun, exploring the ancient Palaces, mausoleums and frenetic streets and casbah, leaving just in time to see the sun setting across the old city walls, it will leave you feeling quite intoxicated. Fez was not quite so romantic as Marrakesh, but none the less exciting. One of the largest casbahs in the Arab world, the experience of wandering through the labyrinth of streets and alleys, trying to hang on to your guide's coat tails for fear of getting lost was quite exciting and vibrant. Again, like Marrakesh, it is not for the faint hearted, not all things you see you may necessarily agree with or like. The strung up hedgehogs was a new one on me!

The tour was well organized and the hotels averaged out as good. Some were much better than others. The food was good, however there was some room for improvement. Our guide was friendly and helpful, but his English was pretty sketchy so non-Spanish speakers got left out. Also, he did not give much info about each site beyond what it was and when it was built. Second, Morocco is more than mosques and markets. I would have liked to have had some activities beyond looking at buildings such as the evening shows. Third, we spent too much time on the bus. It's unfair to call the fifth day part of the "tour," when really it was a grueling twelve hour bus trip back to Malaga. There were minimal bathroom stops and no meal breaks. Perhaps the furthest city could be left out and more detailed visits to the other cities. Otherwise, it was a great tour and I think it was worth it.
