The history and cultural aspects of Nourlangie Rock is aspiring knowledge for all Australians. Rock art depicts many stories.

Disappointed. Spent whole day in a bus and saw nothing. The only good thing was the Yellow Water tour. The rest was wasting time and driving around. Finally, we’ve spent 20 min at Nourlangie, didn’t even get the chance to walk to the lookout._br/_ In short, won’t see much of Kakadu.

Excellent day out. Would strongly recommend paying the 250 AUD each to do the scenic flight, absolutely stunning! Driver/guide, Dave, very informative and friendly. Yellow river cruise was brilliant and we even saw a crocodile! Long day but well worth it.

The tour was brilliant, well worth doing. The guide was as always full of knowledge and entertaining. Didn’t do the flight but nevertheless the tour was brilliant anyway.

Its a very long day but well worth the visit. The Yellow Waters tour with the guide was very informative with all the different bird life he pointed out to us.Our coach guide was very informative and kept us all amused with his stories. Lunch was excellent and the aboriginal centre had some lovely gifts to buy.

This tour covers a large amount of territory and results in a very day. The driver Steve was very informative and made the most of the many venues we visited. The sights are great esp. Nourlangie. The historical significance of Nourlangie is not to be missed. I bought a Lighting Man shirt and took great pics. The only drawback is the amount of time on the bus. Given the territory covered its worth a very long day.

A very long drive from Alice Springs for a day tour. So worth seeing but wished I had done an overnight tour so not to be stuck in a bus all day... the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. If your time is limited then I recommend, however if you have a little more time, recommend an overnight tour... don't miss seeing Uluru if you can!!!!

Great trip, well worth the time spent travelling. Great guide Paul who shared his knowledge of the area in an informative manner and also humorous anecdotes, very professional. The boat tour led by Reuben was brilliant, the breadth of knowledge that he has about his land was amazing. We saw an amazing number of plants and wildlife, from birds to buffalo to crocodiles. Would do this tour again when next in NT. They also made sure that everyone on our tour kept hydrated. It was obvious that these guides loved this part of Australia.

The yellow water tour was my favourite part - amazing wildlife to see. This is a long day and based on feedback from fellow travellers and my own experience I think the flight is a must to really see the size and scope of the place.

This tour was fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend adding the flight as you have an excellent perspective of the vastness and beauty of the park. It is so extensive and the rock formations are remarkable. Best seen from the air to appreciate the vastness of the region. The rest of the trip was also excellent. Saw lots of crocodiles, birds, brumbies and buffalo.

What an amazing place. So many things there that could kill you! We took the scenic flight and would recommend this as the best way to see the Kakadu national park

It is a long day out as distances to the Kakadu from Darwin are great but our guide Deb was amazingly good at keeping up an interesting and amusing commentary. The boat trip was a highlight as was our walk to see ancient aboriginal art. Great lunch. Excellent day out.

A very expensive tour! Not until it was paid for and a voucher issued, does the small print advise that the cost does NOT include entry to Kakadu! How can the cost of a tour of Kakadu NOT include the entry price?? It was a 14 hour day, 10 hours of which were on the bus with a driver suffering from verbal diarrhoea!! 1.5 hours of that journey was to deliver 7 passengers to the airfield for a scenic drive! A 1.5 hr Yellow Water boat ride was pleasant but not overwhelming the aboriginal culture centre and the rock drawings were mediocre to say the least and the toilet facilities were out of action. Lunch was passable, but beyond that there was no other refreshment offered, we had a 10 minute coffee stop at 8am, with 50 passengers there wasn't enough time for everyone to get a coffee, not another break until after the boat ride at 1.20pm, lunch break was 50 mins. Cold water was available from a cooler in the luggage hold of the bus. What should have been a wonderful climax to,our visit was a bitter disappointment, I cannot recommend this tour not this tour operator - I felt ripped off!

We were smart enough to sign up for the airplane flight over Kakadu from the start and it provided a fantastic view of the incredible topography and vastness of the park. However, we were sorry to miss the native cultural center visit as it was during our flight. I asked the other passengers about it but they were not too impressed. I would have liked to have seen for myself. The boat ride was pleasant, with a cheeky tour operator who make it fun. Not much to see during the rainy season but the whole thing was enjoyable. The rock art work at the end was a real treat to see.

An excellent tour, the driver/guide was entertaining and informative and the lunch was good. The river cruise and rock art sites were fantastic although we were disappointed not to see a crocodile (other than in a cage at the coffee stop) due to there being so much water around. Not enough time was allowed at the aboriginal cultural centre.

Kakadu NP is a 20,000 square km park that is one of the main visits from Darwin and in my view the main reason I wanted to go was for the wildlife, particularly crocodiles. It is an expensive day trip - AUD250 - and an early warning from the driver on the day stated that we were unlikely to see much wildlife in the wet season as there had been a lot of rain, which disperses the wildlife over a wide area of the wetlands. So rather than waste the money I had spent I paid another AUD 250 for the 50 minute flight over the NP to view vast areas of trees and rocks and 3 spectacular waterfalls. This in my view is a huge amount of money for a day trip.

Really wonderful and extraordinary tour. Comfortable coach and as on all our Australian tours, guide was well up on all aspects of the trip, Unfortunately we didn't see much wild life but that was not the guides' fault. On yellow River cruise saw lots of different species of birds but could not find crocodiles, Local guide was determined to find a crocodile and eventually did find one. resulted in getting back to bus late but taken in good stride by bus guide. Tour really worth doing.

Early start and very late finish for this big day trip, but worth every hour and dollar!!_br/_ Had a confirmation call from the great team at AAT where I went to pay for the Park entry before departure._br/_ Tour guides were very professional, informative, and friendly with great sense of humour for a big day._br/_ Hadn't planned on the 50min 'add on' flight over Kakadu, but will never regret doing it at the last minute. - Breathtaking!! even over ex Ranger Uranium mine._br/_ Yellow Waters was also a great highlight, seeing soooo many crocs, emu's, sea eagles, water buffalo, and an array of birds including cobalt blue kingfisher._br/_ This tour from Darwin tops most others I have been on. Booking through Viator was so easy and quick._br/_ Just remember your hat and sunscreen for some of the walks, and because of the big day, you may need some nibbles for the bus trip back. This tour should not be missed.

A long day but definitely worthwhile to get an idea of Kakadu. I would recommend the scenic flight as it gives you insight into the expanse and remoteness of Kakadu.Warraddjan centre was OK.

Flight over Kadadu gave us a great perspective of the country. Yellow River cruise was fabulous with all the birds, flowers and crocs. It is large group which they combine with more large groups and can be a bit much, especially for lunch. As well, combining one day and two day groups on one bus resulted in a lot of extra travel time. Really liked our tour guide who looked out for each of us. I will stay overnight in Kakadu the next time.

I would never book this tour again! The worst I've joined. It was so stressful!!! The guide asked us all the time to hurry up.No time to refill water bottles or even go to the bathroom. Far too long time on the highway, 8 hours in total. By far not enough time to see Kakadu. Stress stress stress!! Do not go on this tour or any other tour operated by AAT Kings for that matter. Overpriced !!!

Kakadu not enough wards to describe._br/_ It is an early morning and a late night with lots of roads to travel on. But the Driver / guide was interesting and informative. The boat trip on the Yellow river well to me it was the highlight with lots of wild life to see. _br/_ Even the little side tour to see the Aboriginal rock art was certainly memorable._br/_ Lunch was fine and a welcome break from the driving but not be put off by that as a day it will live in the memory of things I am glad I did

Great tour but recommend you take the 2 day tours as the 1 day tour has lots of driving. You can see much more by taking a longer tour. If you dont have the time as I didnt then this tour is still worth doing.

Wasn't impressed with the Yellow Waters part of the Tour, maybe because we had done a similar tour previously when we saw much more, but the rest was brilliant. The AATKings driver/tour guide Gordon was awesome. Very informative. We regret not doing the scenic flight. Get in the queue for lunch early - I missed out on ham and roast beef - they ran out. The highlight of the day was the time spent at Nourlangie.

Well, be prepared to have a long day. Long time on the road. Yellow Waters tour was great, we could have been out there for hours it was so interesting, especially with our guide who was the best but unfortunately there are time limitations. Lunch was great and you can even have a swim at the resort to cool off. Our driver/guide was very informative and made the long day enjoyable.

A long trip and although glad we visited it would have been more enjoyable without the to-ing and fro-ing to Kakadu hotels at the end of the day, before returning to Darwin. The Yellow river cruise was very interesting and informative with amusing narrative. Our pick-up was late, but this may have been due to other travellers, an apology was offered. The tour was enjoyable but be prepared for a long day.
