Day 1: Delhi – Agra (L,D)
After private pick up from Delhi in an air-conditioned vehicle, begin the journey to Agra. After the 3-hour drive, visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah, the tomb of a Persian nobleman, also referred to as 'Baby Taj.' The exquisite early-17th-century structure boasts baroque carvings and is the first Mughal monument built entirely of marble. From here, head to lunch at a local restaurant and relish in the flavors of Rajasthan.
Walk off your lunch by taking a guided tour on foot inside Agra Fort. Marvel at several of its striking structures, like the Moti Masjid (Pearl Mosque) and the glass palace of Shish Mahal before heading to Meena Bazaar to peruse the stalls selling various quality crafts such as marble figurines and precious gems. Return to the hotel to relax and enjoy dinner.
At night, enjoy a special treat only few are able to experience – seeing the Taj Mahal under a full moon! Enjoy the sight of the white-marble monument changing colors under the light of the moon. As full moons only occur once a month, with the few days before and after being equally as bright and beautiful, this is one experience not to be missed.

Day 2: Agra – Delhi (B)
On your second day, after breakfast see the full glory of Taj Mahal on a guided tour inside the mausoleum and the surrounding garden and buildings. Admire the white-domed marble monument, constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and gaze at the intricate interior designs. Afterward, you will be driven to Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory). On a tour of the complex, discover the intriguing mix of Muslim and Hindu architecture of its various royal residences, large meeting halls and grand mosques.
On the way back to Delhi, you may stop for lunch (own expense) at a popular restaurant per your guide’s suggestion.
Please note: If you are traveling on a Thursday, both daytime and nighttime visits to the Taj Mahal will happen on the first day. The rest of the planned visits will occur on the next day (Akbar the Great, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri).
This tour was well thought out in theory but ended up being not quite the same in reality. The day we arrived in New Delhi we got to,d that the tour was cancelled. Our tour started in about 8 hours so was very irritating. We managed to change the day but the local tour guide tried to change the itinerary. When we eventually got to 'see the Taj Mahal in moonlight' at midnight - would probably recommend 9pm... you couldn't see the Taj Mahal... wasted money due to a disorganised tour agency. You could do it cheaper yourself and not be messed around!!!

Seeing the Taj Mahal is a must for anyone visiting India and this tour lets you see it twice! Our guide was fantastic... we got tons of excellent photos of the Taj, and our guide was very happy to tell us which spots were best, and took photos of the both of us together. She was also very knowledgeable and patient as she was explaining about the Taj and the Agra Fort.

While my initial impression of Gets was a rocky one due to the incredibly slow communication during the planning phase of our tour, once I was actually in India, things picked up very quickly. I enjoyed seeing the Taj and the Fatehpur I also have to give Gets some major bonus points for how flexible and willing to please the customer they were. You want a massage in Agra? you got it. My actual guides of the landmarks ranged anywhere from a 4/5 to a 5/5 on the enthusiasm for their craft. I think everyone did a good job overall.
