Small Group Burgundy Tour with Wine and Food Tasting from Dijon

Discover the delicate flavors of Burgundy on this 3-hour wine-tasting tour from Dijon. Visit two Burgundy wineries with a guide, and gain insight into centuries of winemaking history and heritage. Explore the cellars and vineyards, and learn of the diverse grape varietals flourishing in the fertile soils. Sample some of the wines in production accompanied by local cheeses or delicious chocolates. Visit the pretty Burgundy village of Gevrey-Chambertin on route back to Dijon.

Following a pickup in central Dijon, hop aboard your minibus and travel out of the city into the rolling hills of Burgundy — widely considered among France’s finest winegrowing regions. Along the way, admire sweeping views over the fertile vineyards coating the landscape.

First, visit a local winery and explore the cellars with your guide. Gain insight into the winemaking process, and sample a selection of Premier Cru red and whites paired with local cheeses or fine chocolates.

Head onward to a second Burgundy winery and learn of the estate’s rich family history. Taste a diverse range of Pinot Noir wines, developed in harmony with the region’s rich traditions.

On route back to Dijon, visit the charming village of Gevrey-Chambertin then return to central Dijon to conclude your tour.

Manny was an awesome guide of the burgundy region! He shared a wealth of knowledge on the wine and the history. The tour was great because you were able to go to a private tasting room and taste wines from many different wine makers in the region. You also got to tour a chateau. Manny also went above and beyond for us by providing excellent tips for our trip to Lyon as well.

A fantastic excursion. Our guide Stéphane was incredibly friendly, and very knowledgeable of both the wine and the region. There was no obligation to buy the wine at either of the stops, though we opted to do so as we were on the hunt for a gift and received expert advice from the owner. We felt the tour lasted the optimum amount of time - a little of over three hours, meaning there was no rush at either spot, allowing enough time to enjoy several wines, yet we were still back by lunchtime, to continue exploring Dijon. A must-do for wine lovers - both the beginners and the connoisseurs!

This tour was fantastic. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great group of 8 that got on so well, we ran out of time for 1 of the wineries but it was no problem. We had a wonderful time. Fascinating cellars and tasting rooms. Well worth it.

What an awesome full day tour! Our guide, Valentine, had a genuine depth of knowledge and a passion for wine. We saw some of the finest vineyards, learned about the history, saw a production facility, cellars, and even a chateau! We did this tour in very small group only my husband and myself. Our guide Valentine was amazing. He gave us so much information about the wine, winemaking, and the region. We had a very nice half day tour with him. We highly recommend this tour if you are interested in the Burgundy wines. Excellent

We had Sophie as our guide and she was fabulous for our half day tour. Her knowledge was fantastic and we loved every minute of the drive to our first private cellar. The wines selected were all fantastic and we throughly enjoyed the time spent ecplaining each wine. Second stop was a winery and again the wines selected here were excellent and we happily made a purchase here. I would recommend anyone who is in Dijon to take at least his half day tour if not the full day.
