Situated in the heart of Burgundy, the Cote d'Or is worthy of its name, the Golden Ridge. The autumn vineyards are rich with a myriad of colors.

I loved this Burgundy wine-tasting tour. Our guide was very friendly and informative, and offered a detailed account of Burgundy's wine production as we drove along the beautiful Route des Grands Crus through several small villages. The Côte de Nuits wine region is absolutely stunning, offering postcard-worthy views at every turn. We even saw the vineyards of Romanée-Conti, which produces the most expensive wine in the world! The wine tasting at the end was the perfect way to wrap up the afternoon.

I would suggest to the organizers to propose good wines for tasting ... I was a bit disappointed with a Cellar Visit (We have tasted sour and cheap wines.)... But everything, except wine tasting, was good.

The tour was great, but over priced! Viator made it very inconvenient for us, requiring that we print out our tickets and call to confirm the day before, two tasks which are challenging when traveling abroad!

Our tour guide was great! She was very knowledgeable of the area and wine making. She made some extra stops for photos and a tour through a quaint little village, which wasn't part of the original itinerary.

In all my visits to France I have not seen the vineyards. Apart from going through the wine country the tour took us through little villages with narrow streets and pretty houses though we came back on the main roads on which we would be normally travelling had we not taken the tour. We had two Australian couples as our fellow travellers who were very friendly so it was an enjoyable afternoon.
