Great way to get around Dubai, see the sights and stay hydrated with complimentary water. Staff was polite and great at pointing out different sites. There is ecpven an app you can download showing where the stops are and when the busses arrive. Well organized. I recommend to the 2 day pass, as the city has the JLT and Marina area wonderful to walk around and old town with markets . But keep in mind the 2 Day pass must be used consecutively. My only suggestion to the tour company is to allow the guest to choose which 2 days they want to use the voucher. Otherwise an excellent way to see and get around Dubai - Jeff, Tampa Florida USA

Did this tour as a cruise ship excursion._br/_ this bus picked us up at the port and took us to the Dubai mall, here we had to change busses, choosing either the red route around town or the green route along the beeches. the stop is shared with other companies and is overcrowded with very few seats but is luckily in the shade. you may find your bus parked behind rival hop on hop off bus if it couldn't get a parking space. the tour it self is interesting i took the red route with a live commentary on board but on leaving the mall you do go around some of the route the bus from the port covers. most of the stops are for shopping malls plus the museum and the dhow cruise._br/_ the bus back to the cruise port runs every hour so can be a long wait plus space at busy times is very limited as its also the free shuttle bus for everyone from the ship. paying for a ticket does not give you priority for a seat and your fellow passengers who paid nothing get to see a good section of the route for free!_br/_ ticket includes museum and a dhow cruise but as we only had 1/2 day due to immigration it was for me just a ride around. Would be better if you had a full day and you were not competing for seats with passengers who had not paid anything!

Best way in my opinion to explore any city for the first time. The Big Bus app makes tracking your bus live a little easier although it is in beta version so it is slightly inaccurate. The routes are good but expect traffic jams at certain peak times evening, weekends, etc.

We were only in Dubai for 5 days but decided to book the 7 day ticket as we thought the bus tours would provide us with a means of transport whilst at the same time getting to see the surrounding areas, however we didn't account for the amount of traffic and the time it took for the bus to go anywhere. We were staying at the Jumeirah Beach Residences area which is the furthest away from Dubai City Centre and on the first day we took the bus from close to our hotel, went to the first transfer point at the Atlantis hotel green route, and then went to Dubai Mall Burj Kalifa to swap on to the red route to get to the old town area Bur Dubai. This took us nearly 4 hours to get from hotel to where we wanted to go. To get back to our hotel we used the metro train system and tram which took us approximately 30 minutes. We only used the bus tours one more time during our stay - this time we got the metro train to Burjuman station, walked to the bus stop 200 yards, used the bus to go round to the Souks area gold and spice on the other side of the creek and then did the Dow cruise up the Creek which was very enjoyable. We then took a river taxi back across the Creek at a cost of 1 dirham each approx. 20p and then caught the metro back to our hotel. There are a lot of other attractions included in the price of the ticket but the Dow cruise and the museum were the only attractions that we used so cannot comment on the others. Personally I would recommend the bus tour but maybe just for one day - there is not much to see on the yellow and green routes and the metro train and tram system is a far more efficient way of getting around.

Big Bus Dubai is an excellent way to see the major sites that Dubai has to offer. The materials provided were easy to follow and the hop on, hop off routine allowed us to pace our trip and allow us to spend more time at places that interested us the most. I would receoomen taking the deluxe package over two days as it includes entry to some of the major attraction. I would have no hesitation in using Big Bus again and have in fact already recommended it to friends who are visiting Dubai next month.

We have taken Hop on Hop off buses in many world cities. This was the worst. There was very little narration and we just listened to the same Arabic music over and over. I would have liked more stories and history. Every mall was just a giant sized US mall. Don't waste your money.

The Hop On Hop Off Tour is always a wonderful way to get your bearings in any city that they operate in. The Big Bus Dubai has a mix of air-conditioned seating and open seating on the upper deck and generally runs every 30 minutes with stops at all major attractions. The three routes cover different areas of Dubai with convenient cross-over stops to change routes and depending on the length of time purchased, includes free tickets to attractions like the very interesting Dubai Museum and a Creek Dhow Cruise etc. The informative commentary is in several languages and free water is provided. A great way to see a city in a short time!

A fabulous way to get around Dubai and see the sights all the way from the Old Town to the new mega hotels. It was 44C when we were in Dubai in June 17, so it was too hot to walk anywhere - we were thankful that the buses were air-conditioned on the bottom and half of the top section, plus there were complimentary water bottles on the bus. This tour offers so many optional extras, so I recommend taking the 2 day pass to see them all at no extra cost - the Dubai museum, the river boat ride, the Sharjah excursion, the Flamingo sanctuary, plus the 1Dhs Abrah ride across the river. We were in Dubai during Ramadan, which I would not recommend, as restaurants and other attractions are closed during the daylight hours. Thanks especially to Ruby, Jessie and Raquel, plus all the drivers, who were very helpful in assisting us to get around and plan our days.

This is a fantastic way to see Dubai at a glance. The hop on - hop off options are really well placed to take in the prime attractions of Dubai. There is plenty of cold water available for free on the bus and the audio guides are very intuitive._br/_ The only downside can be the lack of enclosed air conditioned space on a hot day, but this is on some, not all, buses._br/_ Well worth the investment. I highly recommend this trip.

This is the poorest sightseeing bus service we have experienced in many cities we have visited. The bus stops are very difficult to find often located in the basements or back alley ways of the malls. Elsewhere on the route they are not obvious to find. Long waits of up to 45 minutes for a bus which is no fun in 40 degrees of heat. The timetables give no indication of the times of the buses at each stop throughout the day and once on the bus you can wait for 20 minutes at a stop before the bus proceeds. There seems to be no co-ordination between the dhow sailings and the arrival of the bus, the sailing finishing 5 minutes after the bus has left and drop off 30 minutes before the sailing. The metro is excellent and very cheap and there are other companies I would suggest are considered before this one.

I had experienced bus tours in other cities however in Dubai it was not as good as those other cities. The main problem was the lack of staff visibility and help. We were boarding the bus at The Atlantis the palm we were dropped there by a taxi driver who was unsure where the pick up point was we asked other drivers outside the hotel and they told us to go inside the hotel which was clearly not correct. We then noticed a small booth with about 3 big bus members of staff sitting behind they made little effort to make themselves notice or help at the bus pick up point. What would have been more helpful would have been a bus stop sign clearly advising where you got on the bus so this was not a great start to our experience. The good point is that Dubai is a huge place and the bus tour is a good way to get around in relative comfort and is relaxing. The tour was ok but not fantastic.

We did this on our first full day in Dubai. This is the best way to get an overview of the city. We paid for another 24 hour pass after this one to spend time in the old city which was definitely worth it. The Big Bus employees are very visible near the bus stops and extremely helpful in helping you find your way around. Free cold bottled water on the bus is a nice treat.

Choosing the Big Bus was the best thing I did. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Muraqabat 10 mins by taxi from the airport. I had pre booked and paid for the bus so was no problem. I used a taxi from the hotel to city centre mall very cheap fare and asked to be dropped off at the Big Bus office. There I was warmly greeted and explained to me the routes and benefits off hop- on hop -off tours. Do book the 48hr ticket. The excitement was unbelievable just visiting all the landmarks the trip to the Dubai Mall, The Mosque, a boat trip on the creek, walking on the beach . the Burj Khalifa was another experience ,unbelievable. Staff on the Big Bus were extremely pleasant,helpful and knowledgable. Bottles of water are provided on the buses and you definitely need it with the heat! Well done to everyone 10/10 . Shall certainly use you again when I visit Abu Dhabi next year. It was my 1st visit to the UAE a special treat for my granddaughters 18th. The two of us had a great 4 days. Taxis fares were cheap and the food same prices as UK.
