I had the Red bus. On the map, the Pearce Lyons Distillery was listed as a stop, 16A I think, but the bus drove by, driver said it wasn't a stop, had to get off at guiness, the previous stop and walk there. Another driver drove thru wo stops telling stories, not announcing where we were. I felt a certain lack of a genuine tour on most of the buses I took. I few drivcers were good.

No nonsense gets you around the city as it should. Wait times were a bit longer than advertised and the last buses ran a bit earlier than expected but I would still recommend the bus for getting around and seeing the sites all in a day. Some advice for travelers, if you are going during a busy time, you can buy the specific site tours ahead of time to avoid disappointment Kilmainham Jail, Guinness, etc. and space the tours out with enough time to get there by bus.

Very good tour! Great for those that want to get an overview of Dublin's main attractions. The commentaries was quite informative and my guides were funny and interesting. My only gripe is that the buses took awhile to arrive at some of the stops. For example, at the Temple Bar stop, the next bus took over 30 minutes to arrive. However, overall, I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin.

Buses were clean and the staff was nice. It was probably a little off-peak so we waited up to 20 minutes a few times for a bus but we enjoyed the trip. The bus drivers were knowledgeable and were able to answer questions.

This review is much like the one given for our trip to Belfast. We were of a cruise ship with limited time. Getting the history of the city from a guide driving around the city, spotting places we wanted to get back to and feeling that we were doing the best with our limited time. We rode the entire trip first so we knew how much time we had left in our day. The guide was extremely interesting. Worth the money

The bus is a great way to see Dublin and had a special bonus extra 24 hours as part of the offer. the stops are in all the best places however maybe because of the time of year we were there from the 31st of December until the 2nd of January bus times were a bit erratic we waited 1 hour 15 minutes at one stop. The drivers providing commentary were great entertainment, disappointed overall with the service.

Unlike other country's Hop on / hop off tours that provide a very informative prerecorded narrative through personal headsets, this tour had either the driver or non-driving tour guide provide information as you passed through the city. Besides being hard to hear through the overhead speakers they provided minimal information and usually waited until you were right at or passing the location site to inform the riders of the targeted subject. There are a choice of 2 HO/HO operators in Dublin and I would suggest giving the Green colored bus provider Dublin Pass with Hop-On Hop-Off Tour your business.

All the buses I took had the driver as the guide and they had a microphone and a P.A. system but it just wasn't loud enough. In some other countries they have recorded audio where you wear headphones, way better sound clarity than a P.A. system.

We loved this tour of Dublin. It allowed us the opportunity to see the highlights of the city and stopped at a wonderful pub where we got off and had great fish and chips and a Guiness on tap. We definitely would recommend this tour.

Absolutely brilliant tour to Dublin for the first time for us and two American friends. The sightseeing tour enabled us to learn a lot about the City and its culture/history, and we visited some amazing places. Kilmainham Prison, Temple Bar, Hard Rock Cafe Dublin, The Archaeological Museum, St Teresas Carmelite Church were just some of the amazing sites we got to see._br/_ Being able to hop on hop off as and when we wanted eliminated a lot of walking and lost time and was well worth the money.

This was a great way to see the city! Next time, I would definitely buy the 2-day pass to be able to truly see the city. The route they take is a bit long and hard to hop on/hop off and feel as though you have enough time to explore, so 2 day is definitely the way to go!
