This two-day trip from Edinburgh to Loch Ness and Inverness will show you the Scottish Highland’s most beautiful scenery. The tour includes views of Ben Nevis and an optional boat ride on eerie Loch Ness, where you can look for the Loch Ness Monster.
You’ll visit Glencoe, a wilderness steeped in grim history, where you can soak up the atmosphere on an afternoon walk. You'll see the stronghold of Urquhart Castle, and spend the night in Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.
The Scottish Highlands are Europe's last great wilderness! This personalized tour is as close as you can get to touring in your own car, with the added benefit of gaining intimate knowledge of Scotland. Best way to see the Highlands. Our guide Al, was absolutely wonderful. Friendly and full of knowledge and filled us in on everything along the way. This trip was well organised and everything went beautifully We had plenty of photo stops along the way and seen some amazing places. We chose the hotel option, which was beautiful. It was right on the river with only a five minute walk to the town. I look forward to returning to Scotland one day, and I would definitely book another of these tours to a different area. This tour was well worth the money and would highly recommend to anyone with short time in Scotland wanting to see the Highlands.

Our tour guide was amazing! We visited two distilleries for whisky tastings after our group took a vote. We stopped in lots of spots to take pictures, all of which were absolutely amazing! My mom and I had such an amazing time and highly recommend!

I have been on many tours over the years and this was by far one of the best! Mackenzie was an AMAZING tour guide. He was not just knowledgable of the highland way of life, he is a highlander himself. Not only did we do the activities listed, but based on the interests of the group, he took us to some additional stops. Having a small bus with less people was much more enjoyable than a large coach trip and allowed for the flexibility that our trip had. Scotland is known for unpredictable weather but we managed to get some sunshine in as well. I could not have asked for a better trip and will most definitely return for a longer one in the future.

Excellent. Well paced. A real value of money. Watching Scotland's beautiful landscape in a comfortable van, having a great storyteller and driver who is smartly synchronizing with great history info and soothing Scottish songs.Pardon me to forget the name, but our driver was exceptionally good. Thanks to you Man._br/_ It will be unfair to talk about my accommodation in Glem Mhor Hotel Inverness. It had a great location, one of the most memorable place to remember. I wish I would stay more there.

I cannot rave enough about this tour. Our guide MacKenzie was exceptional. His passion for Scotland, his storytelling skills and his bagpipe exhibition on the banks of a Scottish loch all melded into a magical experience. The tour was jam packed full of information and stops, but we never felt overwhelmed. Mac gave us plenty of options and encouraged us to participate in the tour rather than be passive observers. The B and B we stayed in at Innervess was very cozy, and the next day we visited Loch Ness and much of the Highlands. If I could have stayed out on that trip for another 3 or 4 days, it would have been worth it!! If you have time for one excursion, this is the one to take. The tour group Rabbies was exceptional, and MacKenzie set the standard VERY high for tour guides in my book!

How much history, scenery and all around unforgettable life experience can you pack into two days time? This much, and no more. I can't say enough about the quality of this tour, or of the outstanding warrior-poet tour guide Jan... no matter how many 5 star reviews there were my expectations were far exceeded. I cannot wait to go back to Scotland, and at least one or two Rabbie's tours will be on my agenda when I do plus lots of hiking as this tour absolutely taught me where to go.

We rarely book tours but, due to a foot injury, wanted something easy and accessible. The 16-seat coach tour was ideal with our driver and guide, Olly, enhancing the journey with his great commentary and intriguing anecdotes. Also pleased we chose the guest house option.

This trip was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Michael combined knowledge with humour and was second to none. The tour through Scotland was picturesque and full of history. The most wonderful part of the trip was Loch Ness and the castle. Our accomodation at Glen Mohr was splendid, very comfortable, sumptuous breakfast and opposite the river, with the most picturesque views. Our guide provided us with information regarding where we could find restaurants and entertainment for the evening. The trip through the Highlands and the walk at the 100mile walk, complete with piper was most enjoyable. We could not fault this tour, it was excellent

WOW!!! I have no idea why you would want to do a one day. This two day tour was fun, relax, informative, beautiful, amazing, awesome...I think you get the point. To take in such beauty in a single day is impossible. I love the two day. Gil was our Hostess and we had Olly as our driver. Olly had never taken this trip and he was in training but he is an awesome driver. Gil made the days come alive. Her banter, knowledge and personality lit the bus up and made all of us feel special. The freedom to take our time at spots was amazing. No rushing, Yes. _br/_ I was a little apprehensive about where we would stay, but Molly was amazing. The B and B, well, I wish I could stay a week there. _br/_ This is a mini bus: 16 or so of us and the number is perfect for a trip like this. Let me tell you, take two days and take this trip. What you get to do and see is beyond description.

The trip to Scotland was made to be totally memorable and worth every penny with this amazing 2-Day tour. We were with Rabbie's and our tour guide, Gilian was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and humorous too. She gave us many insights and stories linked to the places we were visiting and made us appreciate Scottish history and culture very much. All the places covered in this tour is fantastic and has to be seen by yourself to believe it. The minibus provided was also extremely comfortable and made the journey very manageable although we were driving around a lot. The only 1 thing that we personally felt could have been better is to allow a little more time at the stops to appreciate the views and the stunning sceneries as well as enjoy lunch without rushing. Nevertheless the service provided by Rabbie's was exceptional and even the BnB's provided to us were fantastic for a night's stay very clean, conveniently near the town, amazing breakfast and lovely host. Give us a chance to go for another tour, we will surely grab it! Totally recommend this for anyone who would like to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Scotland!

Everything about this trip was perfect! Our driver and guide, Adam, was so welcoming, knowledgeable and an amazing story teller. The B and B I was booked into was near to the city center, clean, comfortable, and Mrs. Macrae was lovely! If you ever have the chance to take this tour, do it. You will not be disappointed by the travel, accommodation, or scenery!

Did the overnight 2 day tour into the Highlands from Edinburgh with Rabbie and #39;s Tour Company. My trip to Scotland wouldn and #39;t have been complete without it. I and #39;m actually glad I did it in the winter as the snow on the mountains in the Highlands made it even more beautiful!

Dave is an excellent guide. B and B Inverness was lovely. Arrived at 5pm and left the next morning at 8am. Dave went out of his way to accommodate what we wanted. Took us up to see snow, then a lovely sunset on a beach. The Loch Ness boat ride was sold out so face arranged a private boat. Amazing.

Fantastic tour that covers a lot of ground in two days. Our tour guide Stevie was great - very informative and witty. Flexible itinerary as we stopped at a few places along the way at the request of tour group. The guest house was very good - great breakfast and friendly hostess. If I could change one thing it would be the inclusion of admission to a few key attractions on the way, especially the Loch Ness cruise.

Roger was quite entertaining in his retelling of Scottish history. This tour hit all of the big sites to see throughout the Highlands. I would highly suggest it for a quick 2-day trip.

Our guide Kattie was very knowledgeable and friendly. The one bad thing that happened was that we had requested a ground floor room but the B and B we stayed at didn't know anything about that. So, my husband who has a handicap had to climb the stairs to get to our room

This tour exceeded all of our expectations! Our driver/tour guide Paul was amazing! He catered aspects of the tour to what people wanted on our bus Culloden battlefield and Whiskey tastings for example. There was so much history and beautiful nature. Our B and B in Inverness did not disappoint either. I am so glad that we took a two day, rather than a one day tour. We hope to plan another trip with Rabbies tour company again, this time with a longer excursion, including the Isle of Skye. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

This is the 2nd time we have submitted a review. The tour was very well organized. Accommodations and timing quite satisfactory. Our tour guide, Pete, was exceptional. He was very educational, knowledgeable, and entertaining as well. Also, he made every member of the tour feel very comfortable and special. If in Edinburgh again, we would certainly re-book with that agency and that tour guide.
