I can't say enough good things about the Rabbie's organization in general and our guide Pete in particular. The company was welcoming, well organized and attentive. And Pete was a delight. Full of stories, jokes and anecdotes. He was always on the lookout for the best photo ops, making detours and stops when he saw an opportunity for a great photo. And most importantly, the Scottish highlands themselves are amazing, the most moving and humbling landscape I've ever seen and an experience not to be missed. If you're visiting Scotland for any amount of time, you owe it to yourself to book this trip.

I know everyone thinks their tour guide is the best but ours truly was!!! Roland made the trip absolutely magical. He is incredibly well-read, articulate, funny and engaging. His commentary was interspersed with lively Scottish music, ballads reflecting the stories he was telling or, at one point, his own rendition of You take the high road- he can even sing beautifully. I was traveling with my 20-something year old daughters and he made everyone on the tour feel welcome and comfortable. He truly has a gift for bringing Scotland to life. And we were impressed with the tour company, Rabbie's, overall. The accommodations were exactly as advertised and the company seems very well run. We met different guides on other tours during the 3 days and they all seemed to have great personalities! Having been on a tour where the guide turned out to be nothing more than a glorified bus driver, I can appreciate a company that seems to value quality tour guides.

If you're not driving yourself around Scotland this is a great tour to see the Scottish Highland and the Isle of Skye. My sister and I visited in the middle of Feb right in the smack of winter and many of the tours weren't running. This tour to the Isle of Skye run by Rabbie's was just what we needed. It gave us the opportunity to see so much more of the Highlands and visit areas like Glencoe and Fort William that we may not have seen otherwise. The Mercedes van was very comfy and I enjoyed having a smaller tour group. Bruce our driver was information and a great driver. He was pretty chill about each of our stops and giving people time to explore on the Isle of Skye. It's a beautiful island even in winter. We had people of all ages on our tour and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Rabbie's was great to tour with and I would definitely book with them again in the future.

I am now completely in love with Scotland. I cannot wait to come back. We were fortunate enough to have Pete as our guide. I don’t even have words to tell you how spectacular of a guide he is. He is a gifted story teller and his knowledge of the areas and histories seemed limitless. Thank you Pete!!

The tour was well worth it and the Isle of Sky is beautiful, as the Highlands. Stopping points well planned and the guide was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. I do find it rather expensive, specially when one travels alone.

It was a wonderful trip indeed. The scene is totally breathtaking, and we are lucky not to have too much rain, thus I was able to take hundreds gorgeous photos. Michael, our driver and tour guide is the best ! He has been a safe driver, and showed his care every step away. In lots of occasions, he will get down the coach first to try the road, just in case its Not too slippery or too muddy. He is a good story teller as well. I start to like his strong Scottish accent after three days trips. Thank you Michael for a good job ! I will definitely recommend this trip to my friends whoever want to visit UK.

This was an awesome tour, the tour guide/driver was the best he talked a lot about the history and saw many sites, had plenty of time at each location, saw several castles and had plenty of time to take a boat ride on the Loch Ness and have lunch on the last day

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The weather was less than perfect but our guide David was so knowledgeable about the history that we did not mind. The B and B we stayed at was incredible. We had a gorgeous view out our bedroom window. And the owners were welcoming and more than gracious. We had a problem with our train tickets and they went out of their way to help us solve it. Would definitely recommend this trip.

This tour was AMAZING! Bobby is such a great tour guide - he was so genuine and you could tell he loves what he does. The Fairy Pools were a highlight and our B and B in the middle of Portree was great! Portree itself was nice -- the only disappointing part was that there was ZERO live music but we were able to find some cool bars our favorite was Isle to get some sort of nightlife. This is a great tour to get out of hustle of Edinburgh and spend a lot of time outdoors. Bobby catered to everybody's needs, but you will get a lot more out of this tour if you are healthy enough to walk/hike a bit through the beautiful scenery. Enjoy!

It would have been helpful if we had been informed ahead of time that there was a music festival in town and it would be difficult to get dinner reservations.

This tour was very comprehensive. The driver/tour guide was a local Scotsman and was informative on many topics and history of the region. The sight seeing was well organised by the driver around the some times inclement weather of Scotland. Over all this tour was well run.

Magnificent magical Skye and the Scottish Highlands! The scenery and history on the whole trip is outstanding. Our guide was Doug and for 3 days he entertained and educated us. We loved the music and the stories! We laughed and we marvelled. Doug is a resourceful guy, we got stuck behind a wide load travelling 30m/hr so he whipped around and took us over on the ferry from Skye to the mainland to get round it. Loved it, one of the highlights for everyone. Our accommodation was plain but comfortable and there's plenty of places to eat. On our last night in Portree, the Skye Pipe band turned it on for the crowds. Easily the best tour we have ever done.

This was an excellent tour, largely in part to our driver/tour guide Eric Murdoch. He not only pointed out the sights with relevant information, but gave us an excellent background of Scottish history - and had many amusing stories of his own. An excellent driver, and very thoughtful of his group in the way of photo ops./loos/shopping.

One of the best tours we've ever taken. It is probably all due to the fact that we had a magnificent guide in David. We loved his enthusiam and love for Scotland, it was contagious. We never tired of hearing all the history and stories along the way. We also appreciated his recommendations on restaurants, it was a perfect tour.

We had a great tour offered with Rabbies Tour. Our driver/guide- Eric M was great. He was very knowledgeable and had a great entertaining way of recounting the history of the area. Lots of Scottish music during the trip with some good lead ins to some of the historic stops. Eric was very helpful in also meeting any special requests of passengers, as needed. The buses hold 16 people and are reasonably comfortable. Stops/siteseeing were well timed with adequate time to explore. Lots of bathroom breaks with very clean facilities. We had Rabbies choose our BnB accommodation and the bus passengers were spread around 3 or 4 BnBs. All were about 15 minute walk to downtown. The overnight was in Portree and the town is very busy- dinner reservations are advised or expect to eat after 7:30/8:00. Rabbies is obviously very client oriented since every need was anticipated and met so professionally and pleasantly.

We had a great trip with Arran, a Rabbies guide-driver who was friendly and knowledgeable about all sites and kept the comments flowing at a great pace. He included recommendations for restaurants so that we could get supper. We stopped often enough and he would make stops when asked such as to be sure we got sheep crossing our road! He had a great sense of humor. Skye is very scenic, but you need to know the back roads to find the best views. He was careful on the narrow, curvy 'paths' and the busy roads. .

Our tour guide was Al through Rabbies and he was amazing! Super knowledgeable about Scottish history and told us all about the landmarks we passed by. Very nice guy, very funny! The tour bus was comfortable, they make the right amount of stops for breaks to stretch your legs and snap pics.

This was a FABULOUS experience. We highly recommend this tour. Our guide Nick A. who also was our driver, was superb. His knowledge of the history of Scotland and of the area to which we were traveling, coupled with a gift for recounting stories, made this a 3-day trip we will never forget. His selection of music was remarkable--we thoroughly enjoyed every song he played! The frequent stops and photo opportunities including one for Highland cattle! were greatly appreciated but the longer stops that allowed us to explore areas we visited, even more so. At Point Neist, we had time to hike down to the lighthouse, and to hike up to view the lighthouse from above. We stopped at Dunvegan Castle with time to actually tour through the castle there also was another stop that allowed time to explore a second castle. Our visit and hike around Fairy Glen was magical. We stopped at so many places and saw so many remarkable vistas it is impossible to describe all in a short review. In one town where we stopped for lunch, there was time to have lunch and walk around the town, visit the town church and see the local museum. Quick walks to waterfalls or up paths only brought more smiles. We spent two nights in Portree at a charming B and B and had dinner in town at a pizza restaurant the name escapes me--it was EXCELLENT. We enjoyed our visit to Loch Ness--and even the boat ride which is a bit touristy, but then, we were tourists: Time passed all too quickly. IF you have the opportunity to take this tour, DO. And if Nick A can be your tour guide, you will be guaranteed an amazing 3 days.

My Grandad and I have been using Viator for our summer vacations for the last four summers, going to destinations like Iceland and Montreal, and this has to be the best tour we have encountered. The concept of a multi-day tour was new for us, and we both agree that it was one of the best ways to tour the country. Our tour guide was outstanding and the tour company, Rabbie's was exceptional and friendly throughout the tour process. We had plenty of time at all the stops, and got to see all the major highlights. Would recommend.

Trip to Isle of Skye was amazing in a small coach bus with a wonderful guide/driver Liam. He pointed out all the historic, scenic spots and stopped where he thought we would get great pictures. He made the trip worthwhile, even in early November. Liam is a history buff and it showed. We learned so much from him about the history of the area, Edinburgh and Scotland. Recommend highly Rabbie's Tour Company.

This was a great choice. Our tour guide was Audrey and she was fabulous. She made the trip so enjoyable with her stories and her wonderful sense of humor. The scenery was breathtaking, We would highly recommend this tour. Doing it on your own does not give you all of the little secrets that Audrey pointed out...the fables and folklore.

Our tour guide was Ewen and he made our trip so memorable. He did such a great job and worked so hard putting together a tour within his van! We can say enough about this man who was so knowledgable and filled with history, economics, folklore and delivered so many great moments listening to him and his music while on the beautiful van with about 16 persons. Our trip was amazing and the places he scheduled were beyond some of the most fantastic scenery we have ever seen. Thanks Viator and Rabbi Tours for this great vacation.

If you are staying in Edinburgh for any length of time, you MUST consider taking this tour! Mack was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind and pleasant. As an historian, I tend to brace myself for bad or overly simplistic history, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Mack weaves together fact, myth and legend to create a truly exceptional experience that leaves tour-takers informed about Scottish history and able to discern fact from fiction, while appreciating the latter. We saw beautiful locations, trekked up massive hills and worked out our mountaineering skills under Mack's careful guidance in order to get see the most breathtaking views! The B and B organised by the tour company was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Mack's music playlist was spot on and he is a master of timing - all stories and musical interludes synced up perfectly with what we were seeing from the comfort of the mini coach. One second you're listening to excellent Scottish folk music, the next Mack starts a story out of nowhere - just when you begin to wonder why that tale at this time the coach turns a corner and the castle/topographical feature/monument at the heart of the story appears before your eyes.

The trip was conducted by Rabies Tour. It was the best group tour i had in my time in Scotland. Our driver guide, Nick was simply amazing! This young chap knows his stories, his landmarks and was very engaging throughout the trip. He was a very safe driver too. _br/_ We visited many places at Skye, namely Niest point, Glenn Fairy, The Quiraing mountains and many more sights. It was simply beautiful beyond words. Just dress right for the weather. Umbrellas are not that useful at skye. A windbreaker with your snow caps and waterproof clothing are definitely more useful. It will keep u dry and warm. _br/_ I stayed 2 nights at the Feochan B and B at Portree which was arranged by the tour. The hosts were very accomodating. The house was very modern and seemed newly renovated, with fresh and clean linen to sleep on. _br/_ I enjoyed the tour very much. 3 days was just too short on Skye.

OMG I got to see the sites of Outlander. Castles, stones, and Falkland where the story started besides other sites in Scotland. Would absolutely recommend and would do again. Our driver Andrew was excellent telling us stories, playing Scottish music, telling jokes and giving us great historical information. Andrew your a doll!!!! And Skye is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nothing beats the Highlands---so clean, fresh, and wonderful people. Stayed at a wonderful B and B---owners were accommodating, room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic.
