This was the perfect venue for entertaining our visiting 5 and 8 year old grandchildren! The island stop to view exotic birds and alligator wrestling was a great break for the little ones and held their interest.

Took the morning tour. Started on time. Interesting commentary and tour around the canals of Fort Lauderdale. A pleasant way to pass a morning and getting to view otherwise inaccessible areas, but difficult to get over-excited about a canal tour.

This was an awesome tour. We were really glad that we did it. We had a day in Florida after the cruise, and this was a great way to spend the afternoon. Saw some beautiful houses, yachts, etc, and then the animals. The alligator show was awesome. And everything for such a great price! The only thing I would change is to give more time at the island with the animals. After getting off the cruise, we hadn't had time to eat. So when you get to the island, there is food available, but by the time we got the food and ate, it was time for the alligator show and then time to get back on the boat. So we weren't able to see any of the other animals. And several people were in the same situation. But I would definitely do the tour again well worth the money!

It was a beautiful day. The boat is spacious with 2 levels of seating. There is shade from the sun. Make sure your camera/phone has a strap if you are seated next to the water. The Captain was very informative and the little island they drop you off at has lots of snacks.

Get early to board first to get the best viewing seats. Front row at the top deck._br/_ Get your tickets validated at the counter and exchange for boarding pass.

Review by:   Harvey K,    January 2018 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
This trip was quite disappointing. The tour was actually about 30 minutes, not the 90 minute boat ride we were taken on._br/_ Everyone was bored as we trolled the New River with no commentary, history or insight the last hour of the trip,

Would be sure and book early. When we were there they soldout very quickly and had to turn people away. Nice way to spend an afternoon and good time.

This is a boat tour for seeing how well the few live. Want to see and hear about expensive mansions and boats, then this is your trip. Having said that, there are a couple of interesting bridges, one of which is a railway drawbridge Ive not seen one of those before. The inland waterways are busy and extensive, lots going on, made it quite interesting. I understand, on occasion you could spot a Manatee, Dolphin or small Shark. We saw various species of bird and some rather large Iguanas, in a tree!! We did the 90 minute tour by the way, not the 3 hour one, with the island stop. Certainly not the best boat trip I have been on, but definitely not the worst, so I would recommend.

Lovely experience but water taxi gives you same information as riverboat and cheaper

Enjoyable cruise and great views of the properties lining the river. Good gawking of the mansions and the more expensive yachts and super yachts, some in excess of 200 feet! Stopped at an island for lunch an an alligator handling show which was interesting. Good way to spend some time if you are in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Enjoyed a 90 minute tour on a riverboat sightseeing through Port Everglades. Captain Ozzie was entertaining as he pointed out the million dollar homes and yachts. Great way to keep cool on a hot summer day.

This tour greatly surpassed my expectations. Be sure to sign up. The riverboat was not as slow and sluggish as i suspected. It cruised at a good speed through the houses, yachts, tugboats, iguanas and even a couple of alligators. I loved looking at the multi-million dollar homes of the rich and famous.

There were 10 of us on the Jungle Queen, we all very much enjoyed this 3 hour boat ride on the river through Ft Lauderdale. It was a great experience at a good price, we highly recommend this tour if you have some time waiting for your cruise trip.

Had a great time on cruise. The island and alligator show were very good. The only downside was the narrator on cruise sounded more interested in making fun of rich people and their homes than in providing information. WAY too sarcastic for someone in his position. Otherwise we would recommend this trip to anyone

Our guide Sarah was delightful very entertaining while delivering much information about the surroundings. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the stop at the island was very enjoyable as well. Have to admit....... a little depressing seeing all of those beautiful properties that are sitting vacant most of the time..... I'm any of us would be thrilled to vacation in one of them!!!

Very entertaining. It was nice to see where the rest of the world lives. Amazing to look at all the yachts and mansions from their waterfront backyards. Fun 3 hours. Would do it again.

Review by:   Roger S,    September 2016 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
Basically, it was just boring. No real information about Fort Lauderdale, just who lived where and how much their houses cost. The 'jungle' rest over wasn't interesting either with a few caged birds and animals. In all, a complete waste of time.

The tour and the private island were perfect for my family. Be sure to bring snacks and a cold beverage because the island's food was ridiculously expensive. Nevertheless, the Jungle queen was worth the money.
