The cruise was great and the show was magnificent especially Mitch the comedian- magician - iaughed my head off. The only issue i had was that we had one vegan person in our group and no one told me to pre order her dinner - so that was a big issue and i had spoken directly to the jungle queen staff and Viator but other tha that the tour on the boat with the emcee and all other things were great. Highly recommend it. The staff at the island did give her a salad - so it was ok.

The cruise itself was really fun for us because we had never been to Florida and loved seeing the beautiful ships and homes. The food was good and very plentiful, but the show was pretty oh-hum. Cute but really nothing to write about. Fun if you have never been i this area before.

This dinner cruise and show was well worth the price we paid. The food was excellent shrimp, chicken, and bbq ribs. They took us to a small island for our meal and show. Everything was very well organized and the staff was excellent also. The show was very good with a variety of entertainment very enjoyable. Also enjoy the riverboat cruise down the canal and up the river. Would definitely do this again.

The commentary on the boat was very difficult to hear and understand. The speakers did not carry the sound clearly to the back of the boat, and the speaker spoke too quickly to understand a lot of what was being described. It didn't help that people were making so much noise that it made things, difficult, too.

The evening was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the cruise but found that the host providing the color commentary spoke too fast. The meal and entertainment on the island exceeded our expectations. Good tour and the dinner and show were great. A little disappointed that we didn't opt for the paddle wheeler though. Unfortunately we were sitting where there was a group of unruly children so we couldn't hear the commentary. This was not the fault of the cruise company though. Would probably do the daytime cruise if we were in Fort Lauderdale again.

It was one of the best pre-cruise tours my wife and I have ever been on . I would advise anyone visiting Ft Lauderdale go on this trip , they will love it . This was our third time on the Jungle Queen Dinner Cruise. We mostly had a good time. The reason for a four-star rating is because a few things were less than perfect. First, the actual Jungle Queen Riverboat was not in operation. So, they put us on two separate boats that were not like the Jungle Queen. Consequently, we could not hear the tour guide very well as we went along the waterway on the way to the tropical island. The island is beautiful and it has monkeys, alligators, and various tropical birds. The buffet consisting of barbecue chicken, spare ribs, shrimp, potatoes, beans, and potatoes was delicious. My only complaint was that they served us cold beans. Afterwards, the entertainment consisted of a Polynesian review, a so-so comedian who thought he was funny, but no one else seemed to laugh at his jokes. Also, two guys impersonated the Blues Brothers, and they were okay. The cruise back to the mainland left thirty minutes late. Overall, it was an okay night, but not as good as our previous two times.

This was such an amazing experience. I enjoyed the ferry ride, it was very peaceful. Drinks were served on board as well just in case. The stop on the island was my all time favorite. The food was so good, all you can eat buffet and it was interesting seeing the animals. The comedy show was good for all ages. We just had an amazing time and I would love to go back again.

My husband and I enjoyed our night on this cruise. The information about the properties seen along the way was informative . The dinner was great, the baby back ribs was so tender that the meat fell off the bones. Most of the show was okay but the Tribal group at the end was the stand out. The only thing that marred our evening was the group that sat in front of on the cruise which is just one of those things that cant be helped. All in all woiuld recommend others take this cruise as was a nice way to spend the evening

It was a great trip. The food was outstanding, and plentiful. I really enjoyed the shows, and the effect and time put into making it work. However, there was a problem that I am not sure one can solve. One the boat it was very loud, and person with hearing disabilities, could not hear the tour guide. Not sure how one can solve that problem. Suggestion: Maybe sponsor a smaller more intimate boat tour.

An interesting way to see some nice homes and luxury yachts in Ft. Lauderdale. The BBQ dinner, while not gourmet fancy, was delicious and plentiful. The variety show after dinner was entertaining. The only drawback was the bench seats. Very uncomfortable. We ended up standing for much of the show.

Alan narrated SUCH a great tour up the rivers of Fort Lauderdale, explaining about the homes and yachts which was Steven Spielbergs, or Ron Howards, etc that were all beautiful, and he was hilarious. They took us to a private island where we had an unlimited dinner of rolls, cole slaw, fries, peel and eat shrimp, ribs that were FANTASTIC, chicken that was delicious- a great dinner. Then outside for a show of singing, dancing, and comedy. Ice cream was available for purchase, as was alcohol. The nighttime cruise back was BEAUTIFUL, seeing all the mansions with the lights on - just beautiful. Just cruised back to the port, listening to great Motown hits, everyone singing along. Very well organized getting everyone on, off, fed, etc. I would do this trip every time I return, and highly recommend it!

I booked this little excursion for our last night in florida. It was amazing!! The boat ride over to the island was relaxing and informative and pretty funny. Just make sure you watch for Mr.Johnson and wave lol. The food is great, the comedy show was good. if your not into to show you can walk around and enoy the animals or sit in one of the swaying candle lit benches. The island is absolutely Beautiful. I suggest if your looking for something to do....... This is it!!! I definitely recommend it.

The complete evening, from initial boarding, to final deboarding, was an absolute terrific experience. We traveled the inter-coastal waterways viewing some of the most exquisite homes and yachts weve ever seen in one place. Our on board tour guide explained everything to a tee. Once we reached the island we were treated, and I mean TREATED, to a fantastic meal, followed by a first class comedy show put on by several extremely funny acts. Please, if youre thinking about doing the dinner cruise, JUST DO IT!!

This was very enjoyable! I took my folks for their birthdays and they loved it!. My only suggestion is to bring a seat cushion, because the wood benches for dinner and the show was very hard and uncomfortable for the duration. All else was great!

From the tore down the canals and learning the history of the city, from the excellent buffet dinner with excellent service, to the show that was incredibly entertaining, it was a perfect Excursion. This was wonderful tour that took us down the canals of Fort Lauderdale and pass the magnificent mansions. The captain, the guide, and the staff were great, and the guide's commentary was both informative and entertaining. His humor kept us laughing and entranced on the surrounding scenery. The food was amazing, it was the best bbq chicken and ribs we had in years. It rained a little delaying the variety show that night, and once the seats were dried the show went on. There were three comedians and Mai Kai dancers that performed as part of the variety show and they were phenomenal! Beware you may be selected to participate in the show, so don't sit too close to the stage, but if you do, have fun with acting in improv sketches. You can't visit Lauderdale without going on a cruise, specifically a cruise aboard the Jungle Queen.

Would have been better, if they honored the request for a gluten free meal, rather than ignore it. The booking and boarding processes recognized my wife's needs but at the barbecue she was not even recognized. Also a buffet does not mean fighting for food on a Community table. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend
