Explore the wilderness of the Everglades for a full day on this adventure from Ft Lauderdale. With your naturalist guide, take a thrilling airboat ride, spot wildlife on a drive through Big Cypress National Preserve, enjoy a nature walk through a towering cypress forest, and relax on a boat cruise along mangrove-lined waters to see manatees, dolphins and osprey. Learn about the Everglades from your guide and have lunch at a waterside restaurant, where you'll get to try some alligator!
You’ll be picked up in the morning and taken by air-conditioned 13-passenger van to the Everglades. With your expert naturalist or biologist guide, enjoy an exciting 40-minute airboat ride across the sawgrass prairies.
Back on dry land, explore the swamps and sawgrass on a narrated van tour through Big Cypress National Preserve. Spot wildlife such as alligators, turtles and birds as you journey through the Everglades backcountry.
Next, take a nature walk through a forest of ancient, towering cypress where alligators seek shade in the summer and bask in the sun in the winter. Herons, egrets, ibis, wood storks and dozens of other species can be spotted throughout the year. Otters, bears, pigs, deer and panthers are rare and exciting to spot.
Take a break in the afternoon for lunch at a waterside restaurant in the heart of the Everglades, where you’ll dine on several lunch entrees or an all-you-can-eat salad bar with peel-and-eat shrimp. You’ll also be offered alligator appetizers!
Your final adventure will be a relaxing 1.5-hour boat cruise through the shallow mangrove-lined waters of the 10,000 islands in Everglades National Park. Here, manatees, sea turtles, osprey and a variety of other marine life thrive. You may even see dolphins feeding in the bay!
Throughout your tour, your expert guide will provide informative, entertaining commentary and answer any questions you have about the nature or the wildlife.

This was an EXCELLENT tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw literally hundreds of alligators as well as birds, turtles, snakes, fish and dolphins. Would highly recommend this tour.

overall a great tour - our guide - Zak - was proffesional, personable, friendly and knowledgable about the everglades, animals and other aspects of the tour. Communication prior to the tour was good and we easily found the pick up area at Flamingo Gardens having driven up from Miami that am. Food was good at the mid-stop. Bring some snacks for the van rides which are a little lengthy and really the only negative. Took our kids - 7 and 11 - they enjoyed the tour and all the alligators, we probably saw about 100, plus dolphins, manatee's, and numerous birds including a great horned owl.

This was an amazing trip with an even more amazing guide. Mark was full of information and made the whole experience a step above others. Loved this guy and his passion for the everglades, the animals and the environment altogether. Would recommend this trip over others. Long day but saw and did everything I wanted.

Viator could not be more accommodating. I changed hotels at the last minute and they made sure to set me up with a pick-up close to our hotel. The tour was fantastic. Learned a few new things. We even had the pleasure of a duo of dolphins follow our boat and play in the waves that our boat made. So much fun.

Great trip, starting with on time pick up by our tour guide, Mark. Leisure pace all day, never hurried us through anything. Saw many alligators all day long. Hundreds of birds, pointed out and identified by Mark his knowledge of wildlife and Florida, and the love of his job made for a perfect days. Recommend this trip 100.

This is an absolutely wonderful tour. This full-day tour that goes all the way from the Atlantic to the Gulf Coast includes an airboat ride through the Everglades, a nature walk and another boat ride through the mangrove islands. Our guide knew names of all the birds - we saw lots of alligators. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken.

We had an amazing guide full of info - don't expect long silences Unless you request it - because there isn't enough time in the day for the information you can learn from Marc! He would easily answer any questions thrown by my daughter and myself. We had a wonderful experience of being the only two on the journey._br/_ The airboat tour was good - missed the private feeling of the rest of the tour, but it was good to experience. I want to go back and try a smaller airboat experience now. The boardwalk was fascinating - so much to learn from these ecological treasures!_br/_ The boat ride my favorite part was wonderful with as experience captain who was able to show us a good taste of the area - we didn't see dolphins or manatees on this trip but many beautiful birds and islands that were fascinating. We were not disapointed and it leaves something to experience next time! Marc came along since there were only the two of us - so I cannot say how the boat tour would be without our personal guide in regards to commentary - but I bet it would be wonderful regardless. The stop at the museum/store was fascinating and I am so glad the hurricane didn't hurt it too badly. _br/_ The lunch stop was tasty and fresh - quite lovely and ready for when we arrived. The area has been savagely hit by the hurricane - we saw lots of evidence and it is very heart warming to see things are carrying on. My heart breaks for those with condemned homes and businesses. I want to come back to this corner of the world to experience more, this tour gave us a very good view of what is available. _br/_ I will add pictures later - we have many amazing and wonderful shots from our long day of experiences. Thanks Marc! We definately recomend this for anyone wanting to really see the Everglades!

Really enjoyed the tour and the chance to see different aspects of the Everglades. Pick up and drop off was right on time driver/tour guide was great--full of info, safe driver the different spots were all fun and varied. Our small group probably enjoyed the small boat tour the best as we saw a large pod of dolphins as well as a manatee. Lunch stop at the Triad was great. Highly recommend.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed in this tour. Our guide Mark was very knowledgeable and passionate but he literally talked ALL DAY and it really detracted from the experience in the end. The boat rides were short and we didn't really see anything of note...

Excellent excursion. Zach did a great job and was very accommodating. My wife and I were the only ones signed up on the day we went but we were not slighted in the least. It was basically a private tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The airboat ride was incredible. I have always wanted to do that and I was not disappointed. I could have gone all day. The nature hike was very informative and the boat ride around the barrier islands was also incredible. We saw a Manatee, dolphins, alligators, various birds.....it was all very cool. The little store that is on the Historical Register was great also. Highly recommend this tour for sure.

First of all, our tour guide Zach was amazing!!!!!!! I loved every part of the day. The airboat ride was so much fun, the nature walk was very cool and very educational, lunch at the Oyster House was delicious and so much fun, and the boat ride was exciting and educational too. The van was so comfortable and Zach was so kind and helpful and taught us so many things about the Everglades. It was a totally awesome trip. I recommend it to anyone!!

This was a long day but it was worth it. We rode an air boat and saw birds and alligators, we rode a flat bottomed boat and saw dolphins, we went on a nature walk and had a nice lunch. For the money and the experience I would recommend this to anyone.

Buyer beware. This tour is going to be miserable in rainy weather. The tour should have been cancelled the day I went, or at least we should have been given the option to cancel. It was cold and rainy, and because of that the gators were hidden. We saw hardly any wildlife except some birds. It was a painfully boring day. And then it turned just painfully painful. We took two boat rides: one airboat and one through the mangroves. We couldn't see anything because the rain at that speed feels like little daggers pelting our face. Nobody could open their eyes, so we couldn't see anything on top of being miserably cold and wet. The tour company provided ponchos, but we were still soaked. Cold, wet, and board. Not a good combination. Our tour guide was doing the best she could, but it was miserable. I requested a PARTIAL refund from the tour company, and they denied it. The operators know how much the weather affects the tour no wildlife...not even able to open my eyes on the boat due to stinging, pelting rain and I feel it's their responsibility to let their customers know what they're in for. We wasted a full day of our vacation thanks to this. So I'm passing this on as a warning.

Tour and guide were great. We really enjoyed our day. However, what we had for lunch was not very good. Hence the 4 star rating. And we are not real picky. Fish sandwich was just not vey good. Others were pleased with their lunch! Water on the van might be nice!

We had a fantastic time. Mark was a very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating to the group's needs. We were picked up on time at the designated area and Mark pointed out various interesting facts about the landscape and wildlife. The airboat ride was fantastic! We then went on an interesting nature walk followed by a very good lunch. The last part of the trip was the best! We took a boat through the 10,000 islands mangrove trees and were followed by a pod of dolphin that jumped in the wake the boat left behind us. It was magical. Captain Gary was very funny and you could tell how much he loves the area. A great day. Definitely bring snacks and water. Have a great time!!

Well organized, lots of fun, to learn, to see, and take in. Everglades are overwhelmingly beautiflul! Moreover, all the guides are prepared and accomodating hosts. Impossible to see that much by yourself, especially if you want to do it in one day! The only wish I have is that Florida State begins asap a radical ecosustainable revolution, because right now, the wildlife is higlhy distubed by acusstic noise think of the airboats, for instance, water pollution think of electric boats instead of diesel/electric ones, etc._br/_ Htere are so many species in danger that bulding infrastructures to protect the wild life is not enough. If we don't keep the environment clean, it will soon be distroyed...

When they say small they mean it - there were 7 of us plus our guide and an assistant. The itinerary was as described including a 45 min air boat ride in the Everglades, about a 45 minute walk/stroll in a portion of Big Cypress NP, and a coastal boat ride on the gulf coast. At each stop there was plenty of birdlife. On two of the stops lots of alligators and on the last stop we watched a pod of bottle-nosed porpoises romp. And, the lunch stop was pretty cool with excellent food and very good menu choices.

I made this reservation several months in advance. We weren't sure what to expect but we had the best time ever. We got a late start our fault not theirs .... traffic but the rest of our day was smooth and exciting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and slowed down on the side of the road often to show us all the bird species and the many many alligators. She was very good with my kids when answering their questions about everything that we were seeing. We had 3 wonderful stops with the last stop being the highlight. Our boat captain got dolphins to play in the wake of the boat which produced many awesome pictures and a day my family will never forget. The lunch was very good and the gator appetizers were very yummy. Both of my kids loved it and the rest of our vacation kept asking if other restaurants had it. I highly recommend this group.

Excellent trip to see the three different eco systems within the Everglades and Big Cypress area. The final boat trip proved to be a grand finale. Mark, the guide, was well versed in history and science pertaining to the area. Would highly recommend this trip, especially if only in Fort Lauderdale for a day.

We really enjoyed seeing all the wild life, from the many alligators, dolphins, manatees, and the many variety of birdsespecially the Roseate Spoonbill and American White Pelican. Lunch was absolutely fantastic. Thanks for the great tour.
