This 40-minute ride is a great way to see what lies beneath the surface without getting wet!

After boarding the transfer vessel, your host will give a safety briefing and then you can kick back and relax and enjoy the sights on the 5 minute boat trip to the submarine.

Your first sight of the Submarine should be as it breaks the surface, from its previous trip. Once moored alongside, you safely board the deck of the submarine by a ramp and enter the air conditioned cabin through a large hatch. After the hatches are secured, and pre dive checks completed your descent begins.

The smooth ride and clarity of the water will amaze you as you explore Grand Cayman's Underwater Marine Park to depths of 100 feet (30 meters). Huge barrel sponges and star corals abound the reef, even the occasional stingray and turtle may pass within a few feet of your large view-port.

At the end of your tour, before returning to the dock, you'll be able to watch as the submarine again descends on another excursion, completely disappearing from your sight beneath the surface on its journey to 100 feet (30 meters).

The Atlantis Submarine is excellent. The took you down and we saw the tropical fish and the reef. The guide pointed things out to us and it is very close to the cruise ship dock. Definitely do this.

The sub is cool. But after about 15 minutes it was not that exciting. The guide points out about the color lacking because of the depthwe went to 103 feet. So it was not as vibrant as maybe just snorkeling. Also thought we were going to see a ship wreck and we did not. But sub was comfortable and the kids liked it so no real complaints. Would have liked it more if it were cheaper.

Only disappointment was that we saw very few fish. Thought the price for the tour was high when considering what was actually seen during the submarine dive.

First class, the captain and tour guide were outstanding. We went down to 129 feet and hovered over the wall. I would highly recommend this trip. Also, it was cheaper than the ship's tour!

Fun tour. My husband and I had a great time. The tour started on time and all the seats in the submarine were great seats. We saw lots of sea life and a sunken ship. The narrator in the submarine provided some informative facts and pointed out interesting sea life. The submarine went 145 feet below. It was comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

The tour was great! I had a little problem with the booking as our reservation did not reflect correctly. Also, it is very inconvenient to have to call 48 hours in advance to confirm the reservation when you are traveling. The phone call probably cost me 25 to confirm since they could not find my reservation.

This excursion was great! The SUB was really cool, and not at all cramped. The views were good, crystal clear water, and we went down to 116 feet! The surface water was a bit rough, but that was not anybody's fault on this tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Same tour the ships sell you for 99.95 each, Viator is 11.bucks less pp. Loved it!!!
