Dali Museum and Girona from Barcelona Private Tour

Visit two of Catalonia's most popular attractions, Girona and the Dalí Museum, during this 9-hour private tour from Barcelona. Gain a better understanding of the works of Salvador Dalí at the whimsical Dalí Theatre-Museum in town Figueres, and walk the historic streets of Girona, home to the best-preserved Jewish quarter in all of Europe. Hotel pickupdrop-off and bottled water are included.

Get picked up by air-conditioned minivan from your hotel in Barcelona at 9am to start your private guided tour. Accompanied by a private driver and local guide, make the hour and 45 minute drive to Figueres, home of the Dalí Theatre-Museum. Dive into the work of one of the greatest surrealist artists in history inside a museum space designed by Dalí himself.

Arrive in the city of Girona at around 1:30pm. Stop for lunch (own expense) before beginning your 2-hour walking tour of the old city. Visit the Call (Jewish quarter), Church of Sant Feliu, the Cul de la Lleona, Church of Sant Lluc, the Arab baths, and the Girona Cathedral (entrance fees not included). Climb up the old walls for a stellar view over the city, then descend toward La Rambla to see the bridges over the Onyar River, as well as the characteristic colorful houses that line its banks.

Return to your hotel in Barcelona at around 6pm, leaving your plenty of time to enjoy your evening on the town. Bottled water will be provided, but other food, drinks, and optional gratuities are at your own expense.

Please Note: Girona is situated on a hill and has lots of stairs and slopes. If you have difficulty walking on uneven surfaces, you may not be able to participate in this tour.
