Continue to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park and enjoy 1 hour on your own to marvel at the complex contours and staggering dimensions of the canyon. Head back to the National Geographic Visitor Center by jeep, and receive a ticket to the IMAX film (if Jeep option is selected) about the Grand Canyon to use at your leisure at the famous IMAX Theater.
My only complaint with the tour is that our helicopter wasn't ready at our designated time. All the other tours left on time and we were left standing on the sidelines until almost 1/2 hour after our time. Nobody could really tell us why other than it was still in the hanger and it was pilot discretion as to whether or not he felt it was ready to go. I'm all for safety but more information would have been appreciated. There was no instruction on how to use the headsets either so none of our family could figure out how to communicate with each other during the flight. After we took off though the air time was amazing. We still got our full flying time and the views were absolutely incredible. The soundtrack and narration were spot on and interesting, the ride was smooth and the pilots were knowledgeable. We would definitely go again despite the delay.

I had a problem locating this place. There is no specific address to this location. This company is part of Papillon helicopter, which had a crash a couple of weeks ago. It made the national news. Grand Canyon Helicopter tend to hide the helicopter company name...even before the fatal crash.

We were upset to be stuck with others visiting from China and Europe, just because we were visiting from Japan, and had to listen to tapes played in all three languages when all of us did speak English and could have communicated among ourselves oohing and aaahing at the spectacular views. Too expensive for the experience.

Our helicopter ride was excellent. The pilot was great. The only complain I have is that our helicopter broke down before taking off. We had to watl another 30 min. for another one. I also paid for 45 min. ride but it was only 30 min. So I definetly felt cheated in that sense. But I would say that this was pretty good experience.

Excellent trip - absolutely awesome. GC Helicopters first class, well organised and highly professional. The pilot was ex marine and very reassuring for first time flyers. The kit was high quality, comfortable and pretty quiet as far as choppers go. The scenery and flight just brilliant - even included sight of a herd of buffalo. The only way to really start to appreciate the scale and enormity of the Grand Canyon. 45 mins flight does not do it justice but the best value for money trip we have had on our tour. My 10-year old son and I enjoyed one of the earliest flights of the day. The sunlight on the canyon walls was spectacular and the air/winds very calm. Our pilot - Mike - was a perfect host. Our only regret came at the end when we realized we should have opted for the 45-minute flight instead of the 25-minute one. We followed our helicopter flight with the 2-hour Pink Jeep Tour. Our driver - Joe - was extremely knowledgeable of the canyon's history, its breathtaking views, trees, and animals. He even led us on a short hike for a good view of the Colorado River and some Native American ruins. Our only regret on this part of our event was when we realized we'd forgotten our binoculars, but Joe was kind enough to share his! We also enjoyed the IMAX Grand Canyon movie. We highly recommend this package deal. It's a perfect way to spend half your day at the Canyon.

The trip was okay. If you sit in the back of the helicopter, the view is very limited. I was not impressed with the pilot either. He only spoke to the front seat passengers.

Great tour, although the highlight was the Pink jeep tour more than the helicopter ride. Our Jeep guide Brady was amazing and made the experience of sun set in the Grand canyon unforgettable.

If you only do one expensive gesture trip in you life, splash the cash and do this. We took off to a soundtrack of Pink Floyd and the whole trip was surreal in its ability to show the Canyon in all its dramatic grandeur . The Canyon is the star and what else can you say.

Jeep tour was amazing. Tour guide Duffy Burns was knowledgeable and very informative. _br/_ Helicopter ride was a fiasco. Made reservation the night before , they changed the time of our ride, we bought and paid for 45 mins, we got 25 min ride. Without telling us they charged an additional $200 dollars .

This tour was simply amazing. I went with my mom a few weeks and we're still talking about it. _br/_ The helicopter ride was an unforgettable experience. We liked how the pilot didn't talk much and just let us take in the beauty of the canyon. He played some music that accompanied the ride perfectly. We started to tear up at the end because it was just so surreal. Seeing the canyon from this view is a must. _br/_ Afterwards, we saw the IMAX film, which was actually very cool! It provided great info on the history of the Grand Canyon._br/_ Then, we did the sunset jeep ride with Chris. He was a phenomenal guide and took us to the best, least crowded spots around the canyon. We liked how he didn't talk our ears off, but provided us with good conversation and interesting information. He also gave us time to take pictures and he took us on some walks to breathtaking views. The timing of the tour was perfect it wasn't painfully long, but just long enough to take it all in. I highly recommend the Jeep company. There's one in Sedona, too._br/_ Overall, the experience was unforgettable. I do wish Viator would have been better about communicating when and where to go for our tours, but luckily we had so much fun it didn't really matter in the end. The helicopter company was helpful in providing that information._br/_ Overall, highly recommended!

This was our first helicopter ride. On a windy day it was a bit bumpy, but our pilot was very relaxed and checked on us regularly. The flight through the canyon was fantastic. Great views and all of the passengers shared window views. A helicopter gets you views that you can't see otherwise at the Grand Canyon. Expensive but worth it.

The jeep tour was nice - the guide was very informative and really knew his stuff. Booking a jeep trip I expected more of an off road experience but was disappointed to only be driven from viewing point to viewing point which I could have done myself._br/_
The helicopter trip was superb - the tour operator was great considering Viator had given me the wrong departure time and we arrived too late. We ended up doing the jeep tour first instead and the airport people put us on a later flight - many thanks to them. Viator get your times right! We were only there for a short while and the confusion could have led to great disappointment.

This tour had everything you need. We took the morning helicopter out over the canyon so you can see how large it really is. Then the Jeep tour lets you get out and explore. You still have 1/2 day left to go back and take advantage of exploring on your own.

The ride and the canyon were thrilling. The pilot seemed bored and therefore his interaction was boring. The views made it worth while.
