After purchasing your admission ticket, your aerial adventure begins by driving to the helicopter launch site at the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, where you’ll meet your crew and board a state-of-the-art, six-passenger A-Star jet helicopter. Soar high above the multi-hued landmark in your helicopter before descending 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) down from the rim into the canyon, where you can gain an intimate look at its diverse layers and striking colors. On the 12- to 15-minute flight, you’ll also pass over Guano Point, Eagle Point, and the Skywalk—a transparent horseshoe-shaped bridge and tourist attraction that juts over the canyon.
After your riverside landing, board a pontoon for an open-air journey between the Grand Canyon’s towering rock walls. On the leisurely 12- to 15-minute journey, relax and enjoy the vibrant colors of the canyon’s formations as the light plays off the water.
At the end , you will ascend above the Grand Canyon for one last look at the national landmark, a fitting end to your aerial adventure.
Please note: There are multiple rims to the Grand Canyon so please ensure that you make your way to the West Rim for this tour. Total tour duration can range from 45-minutes to 1-hour. This time is inclusive of check-in, wait and tour time.
It was incredible! Well worth the expense. After arriving at the west rim, we bought our access passes to the park and checked in with the tour group. It was like a well oiled machine - and we felt very comfortable with the process. The views from the helicopter down the side of the Canyon were unlike anything I have seen before. It was breathtaking. And once we were down in the Canyon, we had the sweetest guide on the boat tour along the river. All in all, it was awesome! Highly recommend.

Had a great time! Wish the pilot would have introduce himself. They got us checked in and on our flight in less than 20 min. REMARKABLE! Our water guide was a pleasure and very knowledgeable Very sweet lady. We will do it again on our next trip to the area.

Though it seems expensive this tour is TOTALLY worth every penny!!! When you fly out over the Canyon...I can't even describe the feeling it gives you and how amazing the site is!! Breathtaking doesn't begin to describe it!! This was an experience my husband I will never forget for sure. I would take this tour 100 times over! Not only is the tour itself AMAZING....the people at the counter are so friendly and helpful!! I recommend this tour as highly was I can! TAKE IT!! You will NOT regret it!!

The tour was well worth the drive to the West Rim! views from the helicopter and on the boat were outstanding!... It was a bit confusing as to where to go when we arrived at the West Rim and it was very tight on the helicopter with 6 adults in the small space.

I have already given a rating for this._br/_ Without a doubt the worst travel experience I have had. Viator were so vague with the instructions that we went to the wrong place._br/_ Apparently this has happened to others before, and Viator still has not updated their instructions._br/_ They ruined a once in a lifetime experience.

great tour. we traveled from Florida with our 4 year old daughter and 2 teenage sons and the ride was comfortable and safe for all 5 of us. The length of the tour was about right. Great views of the canyon. Recommend the landing at the bottom of the canyon. Staff was happy to answer questions about the history. Highly recommended.

excellent - friendly efficient staff and check in, wonderful tour, we didn't want a 3.5 hour trip in a helicopter, just too long for us with the 3 kids, so this was perfect a 15 min helicopter ride, followed by a boat trip, plenty of time for photos etc. Amazing view of the skywalk that we had just been on. Any comment at all would be that an extra 10 minutes on both the helicopter and the boat would be just that bit better in order to see a little more. I would highly recommend.

The Helicopter trip was Good with bit of a thrill. Plus point is that the management changed the date of our trip on our request without any additional charges. The negative points are, its too expensive, and very short trip. It only lasts for 5 minutes in the air, and without any communication with the pilot, he does not explain anything about the Grand Canyon.

Fantastic experience, we were a group of three and had a helicopter to ourselves! One of the highlights of out 14 day California road trip, not to be missed if visiting Vegas. Drove ourselves to the start point at the West Rim. Similar trips on sale on the Vegas Strip were going for $399 each .

My problem is not with Viator but with the local supplier once we got there. Upon arrival we queued for 20 mins only to be told by some uniformed official that we were in the wrong queue (we weren't) and were sent to the back of a queue consisting of a huge tour party. Upon a further 20 minute wait and inquiring again, we were sent to the front of the queue and told we could have a slot 1 or 2 hours later. We chose 1 hour (of hanging around a gift shop!) and went back to get our bands and were reluctantly taken to the helicopter pad where we were left to wait another 1.5 hours in the blistering heat (huddling for shade with at least half a dozen other groups) whilst people were brought up the the helipad after us and went before us. On being told there was only one helicopter between two pads, the guys were trying to alternate but taking people from the back of the queue not the front leaving us bored hot and very frustrated. To be honest by the time we got in the helicopter we were all so fed up and in bad moods that it marred the experience extensively and despite being apologetic the chaos at the helicopter company was unbelievable. The poor guys on the pad bearing the brunt of it but not having the intelligence to work out that you take the people who have been waiting the longest first, not from the back of the queue! I look forward to receiving a response to this complaint.

We were there are on a Thursday and was told that day usually many international groups come. They were right! We loved the trip, and they worked us in pretty quick. The guy at the bottom of the canyon was very kind and visited with him. Our first time on a helicopter, would have loved a longer ride!

This was a dreadful experience in an otherwise brilliant trip encompassing visits to many parts of California and Arizona. The reasons being as follows;_br/_
After driving five hours being told we were booked in for the day before. Eventually given our tickets clearly showed otherwise we were accepted. Hugely busy and then left over an hour on the concourse before flying in the hot sun and temps over 100/110 F with dozens of others with little shade. On return kept another hour and half in burning conditions, no water available to purchase on valley floor as advertised on your website. Staff in total chaos and without any consideration for unbearable conditions for all customers. Huge disappointment and the only bad experience on our holiday of a lifetime. I reported all of this upon return and I was laughed at. Claimed no responsibility for errors on your website in likely time for trip and availability of water on valley floor. Left feeling angry and upset and appauled by lack of customer care.

The people at the tour company were great! We had a really LONG drive from the South rim over to the West rim and ran into some unexpected construction. Even though we arrived late (after they were officially closed) they were able to make it work. Thank you Angie and Bobby at the desk! Our pilot Kelly was Awesome and Nate was the boat captain that stayed so late he almost missed his bus. You made this the most memorable part of our vacation. As for the views, look at the pictures, but if you REALLY want to SEE and EXPERIENCE it, take this trip!

Took the trip to the canyon floor which appears to have been the best value, don't think we would have seen much more from the boats and we had more than enough time to enjoy the splendour of the views once down there. Little bit of a conveyor belt system with little dialogue from the pilots however the guide in the canyon was a gem. I would recommend this trip over the skywalk as better value.

This was a really nice tour for a first time visit to the Grand Canyon- the morning we went there was very little wait time, views were great, and the staff was very friendly. We started with the helicopter ride into the canyon, landed and walked down to the boat, rode along the Colorado River, and stopped for a little while to walk in the water. We rode back in the boat, and returned by helicopter. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting.
