you cant hear because the guide on the bus is so loud in german. he talked the whole time. anything we could hear was very short on info.they don't tell you what the stops are. it was the worst hop off and on bus I have ever been on and we have been on many. I think Barcelona being one of the best.

We joined the Red Bus tour at the cruise terminal, the voucher worked great. We did a full ride around first to see where to get off. We stopped at the market for a while then returned to the bus. Next stop was for the miniature railway village and there we spent almost 3hours. You can walk back to cruise ship from here if you wish. Earphones on bus provided English commentary. Worth the cost of the tickets.

Excellent live English speaking guide. Very extensive information provided and many stops in important tourist areas. Our lovely guide was individually helpful to us in locating the right stop to meet our friends and successfully coached us on how to use the underground to get to our meeting point. Highly recommend.

Busy, busy celebration day in Hamburg. Got a good start to the hop on tour -- but soon the tour circuit was cut short because of city-imposed traffic restrictions. The English interpretation of as we went along was spotty at best. But the informative map provided was helpful. When we hopped off where the route was going to alter, we asked out older, female guide ? for help in finding a nearby address for a restaurant. She gave us bad information. This caused us a long, unwanted walk in Hamburg never got to our desired foodie destination.

Dreadful tour...not enough information given by Viator, to allow us to pick up any of the buses. We were told by Hamburg tourist help to get on local bus number 111 which would take us to one of the tour stops. Then we went on a mystery trip for 45 minutes, with a driver not willing to tell us which stop to get off and when we managed to make him understand, with one of several attempts to show him the hop on hop off stop names stop names, he simply said you should have got off 'back there'. We were on a bus full of cruise tourist like us, who were simply abandoned. Also there was the confusion about what company the 'Red Tour bus' was as there appeared to be several. A waste of time and money.

I prepurchased my tickets for the hop on hop off bus. Viator said there was a bus stop at the cruise ship terminal. There are 3 cruise ship terminals in Hamburg and the one that our ship NCL Jade was docked at did not have a bus stop. We had to take a taxi to the central bus station to board the bus. Then we had to do the same to return to the ship. It cost us 60 Euros for the round trip taxi fares. If I had known this, I would not have even considered the hop on hop off bus. Not to mention that the bus terminal is over a half hour from the cruise ship terminal. I think I should be reinbursed for at lease the bus tickets. Viator did not provide the service as described in your ad.

Tour was very good. Directions on taking it incorrect. Tour gives a nice overview of city, architecture, museums, etc. Must tell driver when you want to hop off. Harbor cruise was interesting, great view of music center and philharmonic bldg., watch containers load/unload. But noon cruise was not in English as it was supposed to be. Directions say to give driver the voucher and s/he will exchange for ticket. Voucher must actually be exchanged at main starting/stopping point - the cruise harbor. Our very kind driver took us along to there to get ticket. This is rather inconvenient if I have to taxi to a starting point.

We had a hard time to have the tour in english. I am used to Hop-on Hop-off tour where you can just plug headphones and choose your language between 8 different languages. Sadly, this tour has a guy speaking and telling you live everything, so you have to ask directly if you want it in english and sometimes you're not sitting close enough to ask discreetly. Once, one of the guide was a little bit rude when we asked him to have it in english.

English-speakers...BE FOREWARNED. This bus tour IS NOT like other hop-on hop-off bus tours. One - the bus doesn and #39;t stop unless requested. Second, there are no headphones with multiple-language audio guides provided. The operators of the bus give the tour over an intercom in German first and then and #34;translate and #34; what they just said into English. I use quotes for and #34;translate and #34; because it and #39;s really hit or miss.

Excellent way to discover this wonderful city. We took the whole tour at once and then continued to the dock area to take a boat trip which we got at a discounted price from the Hop-on-hop-off bus driver. The commentary was in German but we were supplied with headphones and were able to select an English commentary, which was excellent and amusing!

This is a very good way to see the highlights of this city. There is so much to see and do and this bus tour helped a 1st time visitor like me get the lay of the land while learning a bit of history.

It was Sunday so everything was closed. Thus, we relied on this tour to tell us a lot about the city. The driver spoke about 5 of the time in English and 95 of the time in German. Needless to say we got very little narrative. We asked before we boarded if the commentary was in English and were assured it was in both English and German. What we heard did not qualify. Totally dissatisfied.

We did this tour twice. It was very informative, but the drivers did not stop at specific stops unless they had been requested, which we thought was a little strange for 'hop on - hop off'.
