This was wonderful! The establishment was very clean and organized. We experience a bit of culture walking to the market to see how local buy and sell food for items. That was an interesting and eye-opening experience. We were able to cook everything with the exception of the dessert, because we were running short on time, so we just helped a bit. The hosts were very hospitable and willing to assist and make the experience pleasurable. Wonderful experience!

This tour was amazing!! I highly recommend taking it. Our guide/chef was terrific. We had a great little tour of the morning market. Then off to the very clean, well set up kitchen to prepare our Vietnamese dishes. After we completed our dishes we were then sat at a table to enjoy our creations._br/_ If given the chance I definitely would do this again.

A fabulous tour. Our driver arrived at the specified time and delivered us to the Hanoi cooking centre where we were met by Tracey who took us to the fresh market for our experience of grocery shopping Vietnamese style. Fantastic experience, very interesting and informative and a bit of an eye opener. Back at the school we were shown our cooking stations and after watching a demonstration it was our turn to prepare and cook delicious, fresh, tasty vietnamese food . The food we had cooked was served to us in the restaurant upstairs with a glass or two of delicious local "Dalat" wine.. The staff were both friendly and knowledgable. This is a very well run and organised tour and comes very highly recommended.

The cooking class was great fun and the food turn out deliciously. We particularly love the information on the various ingredients and preparation methods imparted; it inspired a subsequent shopping spree on local cooking ingredients that we took home!

The staff were lovely however we would describe this as a cutting class, not a cooking class. At no point do you apply heat or learn any real cooking techniques. If you have done one asian market tour you can skip this one, it is simply more of the same. The facilities are lovely - not the cheapest

HAd a fascinating day with our guide. It was great to see Ha Noi early in the morning. Also, the cooking class was super!! We were promised recipes to be emailed to us but that hasn't happened yet.

The cooking class was excellent. We were the only members of the class so it was private. We started with a personalized tour of the market where we made several dishes. The instructor was Australian, so there was no language barrier and it was just as described.

I was a little surprised, I expected this tour to be more of a straightforward city tour. But it was much more than that, highly enjoyable. The guide is very good, and the cooking class is fun. Worth doing.

This isn’t one of those tours where you sit in an air-conditioned bus with a tour guide pointing out things on a loudspeaker. Get prepared to actually experience this one: walking, eating, drinking, talking, listening, smelling, preparing, cooking, chopping. The great thing about this tour is you get to eat what you produce. So all in all it’s a very satisfying way to get a taste of life in Hanoi. As I walked back to my hotel it was as if the flavors of Vietnam were still with me.

We originally booked the morning class and received confirmation by email. Upon arrival in Hanoi, we were informed by the company that the morning class was full and that we would have an afternoon class. After the lesson, we were left waiting for half an hour for our pick up to return to the hotel. All in all very disappointing, and nowhere near as interesting as we thought it would be.

This is worth doing. However, the tour started with our guide forgetting about us, so we started late and couldn't do the cyclo and market tour. But once this was sorted a great tour, do NOT eat before you go!

Great fun and interesting, however the tour guide did not speak good enough English to be understood. Actual cooking and learning from the chef was good; although he also did not speak English, and guide's translation was very poor. We would have liked to ask more questions about Vietnamese cooking. Also, we would have liked to be able to choose items to cook. They have three menus, but we just did what they said! As we were the only two in the class, surely they could have customized it. Also, we had to tip the drivers and the chef. This was supposed to be all inclusive, and as Aussies, tipping is not normal. Having to be
