The tour is good if you have a short time in Hobart and I enjoyed the view from Mount Wellington. Take a jacket._br/_ Instructions given re meeting point not good. I was told to be there at 9 am but bus only turned up close to 9.20am... was not sure if they had forgotten to pick-up. Many buses leaving from same area so hard to know which is the right one._br/_ Bus only left Hobart city at 9.30am so we only had 20 mins at Mount Wellington and then we wasted another 30 mins at some jail dropping off other people.

A good trip, particularly if you don't have much time. Had enough time at the peak to take photos and enjoy the views. We were also taken to see the Women's prison which although interesting unfortunately is just a shell.

I was flying out at night so this tour was perfect. It allowed me to see the spectacular view of Mount Wellington. It was very windy so do bring a jacket. I've taken a lot of great pictures. It departed and finished on time.

Although it was rainy and cloudy for the entire tour it was still worth it! The drive up the mountain was enjoyable. Then on the way down we made stops at the oldest brewery and the old women's prison which were not advertised as part of the tour! All in all it was worth it and on a clear day I imagine it would be spectacular.

We loved this tour! Highly recommend. Beautiful views from the top and definitely glad we were on a tour and not driving it ourselves :

Our driver was very accommodating and interesting to listen too.

It was amazing. My guide was kind and very informative. The top of Mount Wellington was very beautiful despite the icy temperature and the windy weather. Don't forget to wear your coat / sweater

We had a very enjoyable day. The sights from Mt. Wellington were spectacular. We did have a beautiful day with the sun shining Tour guide was friendly and informative. Hobart was very enjoyable to visit.

Great tour. Ryan was a great driver/tour guide. Felt time at the summit a little short but realise lots to fit in, Found the FEMALE FACTORY a worthy stop off.

Didn't make it to the top snowed the night befor could not get thru. But the bus driver took us to other parts of the city which we wouldn't have seen otherwise .Very much appreciated for making it a great morning for us.

This tour just was just OK , but all because of weather . Roads were closed because of snow so Mount Wellington was not accesible, me made a couple of other visits around the city of Hobart to kill some time , i bet that with the proper weather the views and location must be amazing but this day I was not able to see it..

We had a lovely morning driving to and from Hobart up to Mt Wellington. We had the perfect weather, clear blue sky and -1 on top of the mountain. Sue was our driver and guide and a lovely lady and excellent driver, would recommend this trip but you would need to take your chances on the weather, we were so lucky
Review by: Ken C, May 2016
Excellent trip and luckily the weather was clear although very cold! and the view was good.
Review by: jduckworth7797, March 2016
An excellent half-day tour. We were lucky to have an exceptionally clear day, with relatively little wind and warm temperature. The guide was excellent, the mini-bus comfortable, thoroughly recommend.
Review by: steve, February 2016
Great guide, was cloudy and cold at the top but still an experience! Stopped for photos part way down where it was clear, so we still got good views.
Review by: Kristy L, February 2016
Unfortunately we had a cloudy day which is out of anyones control. Our driver was very knowledgeable. Would have preferred less time to look through the Female Factory. Was not a lot to look at for the time we had there and would have loved to be able to go into the Cascade Brewery rather than just an opportunity to get out and take a picture with the sign.
Review by: Luningning C, January 2016
it was a beautiful day when we were there and our coach driver /tour guide was very informative and also provided some little trivia information which livened the trip. there was enough time to take photos and walk a round a little bit at the top of mount wellington. a great tour._br/_ it also included a short tour of the cascade female factory and passing thru the Cascade Brewery. a little more detail to the Cascade female factory would have been appreciated. overall a good tour

Great views, great driver, but too short. It is very windy and cold even in January, so make sure you bring a jacket and a scarf.
Review by: David L, December 2015
The tour was most enjoyable and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and amicable. We were blessed with a picture perfect view from the summit of Mt Wellington. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time, it gives you a nice 'snapshot' of Hobart.
Review by: Roy G, November 2015
Guide just a bit too enthusiastic.
Review by: MEI LING H, November 2015
It would be nice if the weather is good. Only a short drive from the pier then we could enjoy the top view of Hobart. We were unlucky to have a really foggy morning that day. Shall go again if have chance.
Review by: Christine Bryson, November 2015
GREAT MORNING TRIP UP A REALLY HIGH ALPINE MOUNTAIN THAT IS CLOSE TO THE CBD! _br/_ DEFINITELY WEAR WARM COATS AS THE TEMP WAS FREEZING. IT WAS APPROX 1 DEGREES CELSIUS CONSTANT WIND CHILL FACTOR WHEN IT WAS 11 DEGREES IN THE CITY. SPECTACULAR SCENERY! CHRIS and SCOTT BRYSON
Review by: Darcy F, November 2015
This would have been a great tour if only it were an hour longer. The bus ride up to the mountain was nerve racking because the driver was going very fast. Also, we were sitting in the last row, and could not hear any of his commentary. At the top, we could not see much of anything because of the overcast conditions, so we only spent 15 minutes up there just as well as it was very cold! On the way down, we assumed we would stop at an incredible vista spot to take in the views from there, but no, the driver was busy barreling down the mountain and didn't stop. We then went to the Female Factory, which was interesting to us, but again, the driver did not give us much time there. Then onto shopping for 20 minutes- they should cut that part out- not enough time!
Review by: Rein B, November 2015
Although the weather was cold and cloudy, Mt Wellington was still beautiful and the ride up was an opportunity to see what a beautiful city Hobart really is.
Review by: James Elrond L, June 2015
The views at the top were awesome but there's just too little time to explore and take it all in.

Magnificent views......when the mist doesn't come over. You do take your chances with the weather on this one. It also gets very cold on top of the mountain so take warmer clothes. The rest of the tour was very good and the tour guide was interesting.
Review by: Barry J, April 2015
Tour was good - taking us to the top of Mount Wellington - unfortunately the weather didn't play ball and we had no view. The star was lost because we later found that the tour guide hadn't really bothered much with any information.
Review by: Norizan S, April 2015
The views from Mt Welllington was beautiful. And having the clouds go through you was surreal. Thank you to the Driver Guide for arranging the additional trip to see the Tasmanian Devils and the city tour.
Review by: Cheryl M, March 2015
We had an amazing time on this tour, even though it was not the best view from the top of Mt. Wellington, due to the weather, the view half way up was still incredible. Very informative driver/guide, was a lot of fun._br/_
We would certainly recommend this tour.
Review by: Adam S, February 2015
Unfortunately this tour depends solely on the weather. It was quite a miserable day when we did it, but I can imagine the views would be spectacular on a better day. The coach ride up is very comfortable and the tour guide made the best of a crappy situation.
Review by: Haniffa I, January 2015
Wished we had more time at the top!
Review by: Michael M, January 2015
It was cloudy so didn't see anything at the top but got a bit of a view on the way down. The female factory I did not like. If you go on a clear day it should be good.
Review by: Sujith W, November 2014
wonderful tour. Thw tour guide was very informative and got to know so many things that we would not know. Unfortunately we couldn't reach the summit on the 28th October 2014 as it was snowing on the top of the montain. But we were taken up to the spring and was offered a city tour free of charge as we coudn't complete our Mt Wellington tour to the top. Great tour.
Review by: Labish, September 2014
Brilliant!. There were a couple of stops on the way back that were a complete surprise, probably places we would never have visited ourselves. The commentary on the way to Mount Wellington was very informative and there was ample time to look around and take photos. There were no hiccups with our booking at all.

Fantastic views and commentary from the tour guide. Value for money.
Review by: dave, February 2014
We had the unfortunate experience of the summit of Mt Wellington being in cloud and raining not the fault of the guide who gave us a good running commentary on the drive up the mount. The only improvement to this tour that I could recommend would be to cut short the visit to the Cascade Brewery Garden ,which is only a photo opportunity and have more time around Battery Point architecture and history.

The view of Hobart was spectacular from Mt Field. It was very cold and extremely windy. It was a fun experience!
Review by: Heather R, October 2013
Outstanding! Lots of snow and gale force winds at the summit which was not entirely expected. It was quite an experience! Calling in at the beautiful Cascade Brewery on the way back to Hobart in bright sun, was a real contrast.
Review by: Jenny R, October 2013
I really enjoyed this. Our guide showed us lots of sights on the way, and it was a beautiful day at the top of Mt Wellington. On the way back to Hobart, our guide showed us more points of interest, including the Cascade Brewery and the Women's Prison. It was a great morning.
