Adventure all day in the Jaco Jungle horseback riding, ziplining, waterfall rappelling and ATV-ing in an 850 acre private river valley. You are picked up from your hotel for the short ride to the 850 acre private river valley. A professional guide will greet you and saddle you up on a Costa Rican stepping horse and you will ride for the next 1.5 hours past giant trees, monkeys and macaws.
Arriving at the waterfall you dismount and gear up with safety harnesses at the jungle classroom for a lesson on rappelling and zipline. A short walk up the trail to the top of El Encanto where English-speaking guides tether you to the rappel line and you lean back into the tropical waterfall. You drop down 180 feet through pools and shear drops to a cheering crowd below. Next, a short hike to the first canopy zipline platform you are hooked in and fly through 8 stations with over 2000 feet of cable. You finish at the Rancho, where and authentic Costa Rican lunch is served.
Lastly, an afternoon ATV ride through the river and streams to the top of the valley and back makes this the ultimate Adventure Tour.
This tour was beyond my expections!! The staff was amazing super cool and so funny. horseback riding though mountains and shallow rivers, rappelled down a waterfall which was so cool. Then long zipline with great views. Ended with ATV which was adrenaline pumping. Lunch was delicious

We had the best time on our tour! The guides made it extra fun and memorable. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and immediately started our tour. The horses were easy to ride with beautiful scenic views along the way. Water rappelling was challenging but beforehand the instructors took the time to explain what we had to do. Zip lining was also amazing! 7 lines above and between the trees, followed by ATV's. Our guide Lmar, also known as Pan Dulce, took the time to stop along our trail and educate us on Ants, Mango trees and other insects. It was unexpected but a lot of fun! They gave us a delicious lunch and kept our bags safe. Overall, we all agreed that if we are ever back in Costa Rica we would definitely do the tour again! Thanks again for an amazing experience!

This was an awesome excursion, and well worth the cost! I'm not sure why more information about the company isn't included on the listing - Ocean Ranch Park http://oceanranchpark.com/ was a great place to spend the day. Their website has photos and videos of all the adventures they offer. My group was staying in Tarcoles, and Ocean Ranch Park was only about a 30-45 minute drive away. They provide transportation if you're staying in Jaco, but since we were a little farther out we drove there ourselves.
