You will be picked up at your hotel for a short ride to Ocean Ranch Park. You are greeted by professional guides who saddle you up on a Costa Rican stepping horse for the 1.5 hour ride through the jungle and river to the 180 foot waterfall called "El Encanto". Along the way you will see white faced monkeys, toucan and macaw in their natural habitat while enjoying the cool shade of the jungle. Giant trees and beautiful flowers adorne the landscape all the way to the Rancho where you can kick off your shoes and have a slice of pineapple and a cool drink while enjoying the Jurassic Park like setting.

You are greeted by professional guides who saddle you up on our well loved and cared for Costa Rican stepping horses. On this roughly 2 hour tour, our horses have been trained to carry our visitors gently through our private river valley, across river beds and along the mountainside to spectacular views of Ocean Ranch Park. The tour arrives at our private 180 ft. waterfall, "El Encanto" (The Enchanted Waterfall). This is one of many stops that will be provided where our guests and horses can both relax and breathe in the sheer beauty of nature. The ranch was beautifully kept. Staff was excellent. Our only complaint would be the horses and #39; condition. We own horses and know what healthy horses looks like. These horses were underfed. The horses were very well mannered, but they offered no rest interval for the horses in between group trails .

This tour was amazing! We actually did the waterfall repel as well. The guide Jose was knowledgeable and all the staff was friendly and helpful . We got a chance to meet the owner of the Ranch, Greg and he was very personable and down to earth. Amazing experience and I would love to do it again.
