Board the City Sightseeing open-top, double-decker bus at any of the 12 stops around the city and sit back as you admire top Johannesburg attractions including Constitution Hill, Ghandi Square and the Gold Reef City Theme Park.
You can remain on the bus and listen to the informative audio commentary during the entire 1.5-hour loop, or hop on and off as you wish to explore independently. Visit the Carlton Centre skyscraper, the city’s largest center of commerce, for access to the ‘top of Africa’ viewing platform. Take a walk through the downtown mining district, visit the city’s many museums, including the Workers Museum and Apartheid Museum, or enjoy a visit to the SAB World of Beer.

We took the tour whilst visiting Joburg to try and get a feel for the city. Whilst it covered quite a large area we just felt that something was lacking, that might have been because we went on a Sunday when the city is relatively quiet._br/_ We picked the red tour bus up at Park Station and remained on it until it returned to the station. We visited quite a few sites including the Aparetheid museum,Constitution Hill and the mining district.

This is the perfect way to get around Johannesburg. The commentary is excellent and the sound is very clear. All of the major sights are on the route I would recommend this to every visitor to Johannesburg.

This is the way to see a city that you are not familiar with. The bus goes where tourists want to go and want to see. Safe and time saving. Would do it again in Johannesburg or wherever we visit.

Excellent way to see Jo Burg - Safe fast clean and efficient. Good value . JoBurg is no a city you want to be wandering around by yourself if you're not familiar with the unsafe areas so this is an excellent way to get about

This tour covered both the Johannesburg CBD and Soweto. Convenient way of taking in the sights if you don't have too much time to spare. I only had a day and this was an excellent way of seeing Johannesburg. You hop on the bus, plug in the ear piece provided, and finally tune the audio set to the language you desire. It introduces the sights to you throughout the ride. I found the commentary surprisingly informative and a good reflection of the cities role in the history of South Africa. The ride follows a pre-determined loop and you get to see all the main attractions and monuments of Johannesburg. I also joined the extension tour to Soweto, which was a very culturally rich and rewarding experience. Both are highly recommended!
