This was AMAZING! So many people told us to go on a helicopter tour but the price was so high, we had a hard time justifying it. We saw this tour in TripAdvisor and SO glad we took it. The coast was amazing and we got such a good view of Waimea Canyon that we cancelled our tour for the next day to go see it from the ground. This was one of the top three highlights of our trip.

Pictures came out pretty good but the glass and wing got in the way of most of them. Personal experience: amazing. They really do fly all over the island, little turbulence at the Na Pali Coast but expected due to the wind and as close as we flew to the mountains, I expected a lot rockier ride but it was very pleasant, very knowledgeable pilot about the area, points of interest and super patient - I went with my 8 year old and he entertained all his questions and made light fun of the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park and all. Overall, very good experience and although I haven't seen the DVD it includes, I hope it shows the tour much better than I was able to capture - It's a nice perk. Headset provided was absolutely perfect cancelling all the noise and all. Getting to the airport's terminal for it was a little confusing but a quick call and the lady at front desk walked out to give directions and wave us in. Overall, no complaints and would highly recommend.

The entire family agreed that this air tour was the highlight of our Hawaiian Island trip. The views were spectacular and beyond belief. Our pilot, Eric, was a skilled pilot, gracious host, made everyone feel comfortable and made sure everyone had a great view. He narrated the entire trip and was very informative. We drove around the island over the next two days and there is no comparison to the scenery from the plane.

This was a highlight of our trip! Dennis was such a wealth of information and the sites were truly breathtaking. I am pregnant so I was worried about motion sickness and not only did I not feel queasy at all but felt so energized afterwards because of the truly amazing views. HIGHLY recommend this tour! If you're coming from the cruise boat just call them and they will arrange to pick you up at the ABC store near the port.

This was a good tour and the sights were amazing! If you are prone to motion sickness, I would not recommend. My husband got sick about 10 minutes into the tour. My daughter and I did ok, but got a little queasy. Would probably have done better on a helicopter. Our pilot/guide, Brian, did a great job though and the staff was so nice to my husband after the tour and did everything possible to make him feel better.

We enjoyed the tour, but we probably would not recommend it unless you really enjoy planes. A helicopter would be more versatile and we noticed the helicopter tours got much closer to the coastal range and sites. We choose the plane option as a smoother ride for our young daughter and we thought the overhead wings would give a better view. It was a bumpy ride over the canyons so she got scared and those on the co-pilot side of the aircraft had a much better view throughout the tour. The pilot did circle a few times to give those on the pilot side a chance to see some sights. The pilot was knowledgeable and competent, but the aircraft could use a little refurbishing as the upholstery was torn and the inside a little messy. A good trip, but not great.

This is an excellent trip. Our pilot Nick made sure everyone saw every sight by turning the plane 360 so we all got the same photo opportunity. But the Island is the star - what a way to see Kauai with its contrasts of stunning costa - Na Pali from the air is just amazing and you will never see its full glory from anywhere else but a plane, flying down those amazing canyons - breathtaking.
