On this shore excursion to the the Alaskan rainforest, you'll be introduced to the eight canopy ropes and seven ziplines you'll use to travel through the treetops. You'll also get amazing photos opportunities while high above the ground. Before you start, your guides will provide the necessary safety instruction and equipment.
The zipline park is perfect for thrill-seekers of all levels. The less adventurous will have fun on gentler elements like suspended logs, rope bridges and swinging steps, while the more adventurous will enjoy the 50-foot (15-meter) climbing tower and circular staircase, allowing for great action shots of fellow companions. If you like driving on extremely rough, bumpy roads with vegetation slapping your vehicle, then this is the tour for you!_br/_ The canoe trip was pleasant, but short._br/_ The scenery was beautiful, tho.

Great family run activity. Guides were friendly and helpful. Course was fun and exciting. Included short but challenging ropes course and the availablity of a rock wall climb after the zipline. Worth the time and money.

Brian and Rainy were awesome! My wife and I had a great time zipping between the trees. The course was very beautiful. We were a little nervous about the ropes course but it turned out to be quite fun. We were very lucky with the weather so light jackets with pockets was just fine. We would recommend this excursion.

I went on the Ketchikan Shore Excursion: Rainforest Canopy Ropes and Zipline Park with my 8 year old daughter on June 24th. This port adventure was truly excellent and worth every penny. It was my daughters favorite excursion. Our guides were Greg and Abby, and they were wonderful and patient with the kids there was one other child in our party. I felt completely safe with them in their knowledge and experience with the zipline course. Not only that, Abby was more than happy to share information about the town of Ketchikan on the way to and from the zipline park, which was an additional bonus! _br/_ The zipline course itself is really diverse and beautiful. You get the experience of zipping through long and short lines, fast and not-so-fast lines, through the trees and then over the water!! They start with a shorter, not so fast line so if you are inexperienced at ziplining me, you have a chance to get used to it. That initiation was also perfect for the kids. After the fist zip, we were all ready for longer and faster lines! _br/_ At the end of the course, they are also three rock climbing walls that you can try out that adds to the fun. _br/_ It is obvious that this property is well kept and cared for and the owners have done an incredible job of hiring wonderful guides. Highly recommended for adults and children alike!

This tour was an amazing experience. First they picked us up from the ship right on time, easy to find and drove us to the park and gave us some history and knowledge of Ketchikan. From the park they got us strapped up and helmets on and went through the safety instructions for hooking up and heading off the platform. HELPFUL ADVICE:Wear a jacket with zippered pockets to put your phone in. We didn't do this and I wished we did because sometimes getting a photo of the beautiful terrain would have been great. Also, you can get a Go-Pro camera that attaches to your helmet to rent for 35 each and the guides will handle turning it on and off when you leave the platform and come back. _br/_ We had Peter and Trevin as our guides throughout our ziplining and they were completely awesome! They were so delightful and funny the entire time. My son and I told the stories and jokes they shared with us for the rest of our vacation with our family. _br/_ My 13 year-old son has ziplined in the past and he told me this place was his favorite because the scenery and terrain is way better than any other place that he has ziplined before. I'm so glad we did this tour._br/_ So, sign up for it and find your spirit animal on the lines!

This series of eight zip lines and three rope foot bridges is a blast. Our guides, Will and Chris, made it especially so. For those who might be a little worried, the feeling is like going down a long slide. The harness completely supports your weight and hands on the metal handles above is no different that holding the reins of a horse.

WOW JUST WOW !!! VIEWS, THRILLS, EXCITEMENT IT'S GOT IT ALL_br/_ What a fantastic experience. We were collected and driven by a really friendly guide inland to the zip wires. Safety briefing and carefully prepared then off we went. EVERYONE HAD A GREAT MORNING FLYING ABOUT IN PERFECT SAFETY. Even a guy who used to freeze on the roof of his bungalow flew from the top and loved it didn't you Brian !. The guides gave you absolute confidence in what you were doing._br/_ EITHER TAKE A GO PRO OR HIRE ONE FROM THEM FOR 30 worth every cent, we did both so both boys could film everyone., put. IF YOUR A FAMILY MAN , YOU JUST KNOW YOU WANT TO DO THIS 'cos dad's fly faster due to their greater mass as it was delicately yelled at me. The last wire out over the water is just something else and we all did it. Only wish I could have spared the time to go kayaking afterwards when we were hot and exhilarated but had to get back to the ship . We have zip lined before but not on this scale. _br/_ A perfect morning with great guys and what memories!

We were picked up in town on time and the driver who took us to the park gave us a great commentary on the local area. Safety is paramount and the team are very professional and the safety briefings and arrangements are first class. The experience was challenging and great fun. Overall great value for money and the six of us that did it all highly recommend this organisation.

This is not for experienced zipliners. The lines are low and slow for most of them. The staff was was nice and helpful however very slow. What should have taken about 2 hours to complete took almost 3.5 hours do to the lack of staff. I would recommend this if you have little kids or are traveling with older adults who want to try ziplining for the first time. It is purely zipling with very little scenic views

Great time! Our guides Pete and Abby were so awesome. Whether you've ziplined before or not, you'll have a great time. We had someone on our tour who was 76, and she loved it. You will get warm, so dress in layers. If you don't have your own go-pro, they will rent you one, and you keep the disk.

this was an excellent zip line tour! under the canopy of 700 year old Western Red Cedars, the setting couldn't have been better. Going out over the water was also great.

This was an amazing adventure! Loved our guides for our trip. They were so safe and yet fun! Our group ranged from 16 to about 80 years of age and everyone had a great time. They even had a go pro to rent and it was so inexpensive. Highly recommend!!!

This tour was so much fun! The tall red cedars were amazing. Our guides, Peter and Spencer ? sorry, I'm bad with names were awesome. They helped us seniors feel like kids again! We hadn't done ziplines before, but they made it safe and easy and we totally loved it even if I screamed alot.

My wife and I had a blast. Jeff and Kate were fantastic guides and ensured we had heaps of fun and plenty of laughs. If you have your own GoPro they will attach it to your helmet fo you - a must! We reommend this activity to anyone.

We just returned from our trip to Alaska and had a blast with this tour! The guides were awesome and the group was small. My wife was a little nervous doing this her first time, but they were all so accommodating and friendly. At the end, she was a pro! Don't miss the second to the last line, where you cross the water onto a platform. Awesome!!

Great ziplines! Such an easy experience. They picked us up right on time and we rode in a large van out to the park and then after a short safety lesson, we were off. Two guides dan and Audrey? were fantastic. We had 4 of our teens and 5 adults in our group and it was perfect. We loved the many zip lines and the challenge ropes and would absolutely do this again.

We had a great time. Chris and the other guy (I don't remember his name) were great to be with. They were very nice and showed us what we needed to know and made it very safe for us. The best 3 hours we had while in Ketchikan. It felt good to get away from the cruise ship and have some fun. I know you will have a great time and enjoy flying through the trees.

This a a fun zipline and challenge course. The variety of the ziplines is great. The addition of a climbing wall on the grounds is a nice idea because the kids could climb while waiting. I loved being able to zip over the water. Our guides were great. Good family fun.

We had a late 45 min. start to wait for some passengers on another cruise ship that suffered anchor problems the night before, but the despite the shortened duration, the facility and support staff were good, and the experience was worth it. This excursion catered more to people who were doing this for the first time, so the pace was slow. Unfortunately, the late start and unhurried pace resulted in a shorter time to enjoy the facilities, and to the rush to get back to the cruise ships. If we make it back to Ketchikan, I'll probably do this again, but for the full time alloted.
