The Misty Fjords National Monument is a 2.2 million acre park which was carved by glaciers some 10,000 years ago. During your 1.5-hour flightseeing tour, you will see a myriad of crystal clear alpine lakes gouged out by those very glaciers. Saltwater fjords surrounded by sheer granite walls are alive with waterfalls cascading down thousands of feet.
This popular 1.5-hour tour takes you across Revillagegedo Island, over to the Alaska mainland where the fjords are located, and into the heart of the Misty Fjords National Monument. This lour was just amazing. The pilot took us into the fjords and landed in a secluded area where we were able to get out and stand on the floats taking in the magnificent surroundings. Throughout the trip he provided information. The landings were so smooth we couldn’t even tell we landed. Overall just an awesome excursion!

This was a very expensive trip for a party of 4. It was great but the float plane was very uneventful. We literally got out and stood on the floats in a straight line. I think we all were hoping for more wildlife sightings and to go up and down a few more times.

Die Abholung vom Hafen klappte problemlos und nach einer kurzen Einweisung ging es los . Wir hatten Glück und waren nur zu zweit an Bord , trotzdem wurde der Flug sehr professionell durchgeführt . Der Pilot war phantastisch , der Flug so ruhig wie eine Busfahrt. Da wir strahlenden Sonnenschein hatten , war dieser Flug ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis , die Landschaft von oben ist einfach unglaublich schön und beeindruckend. es ist absolut sein Geld wert , wir können es nur empfehlen und würden es jederzeit ohne zu zögern wieder buchen.

Cloudy wet day but still beautiful! We had a private tour for our family of 4, that was a nice surprise. Pilot was friendly, and we also landedon a lake and took off again. Great smooth flight. Our favorite shore excursion!

This was probably the highlight of our whole Alaska trip for me. It was the first time I had been in a seaplane and so wasn't sure what to expect. The pilot was very knowledgeable and clearly very skilled at his job - when we landed on the lake, it was so smooth that I didn't even realise we had touched down on the water! The views from the plane were just amazing, soaring over the snow-capped mountains, lakes and waterfalls. I would definitely recommend this tour!

there was initially a mix up with the pick up spot, we were waiting at the spot noted on our voucher but were told to head back to the spot where our ship was docked. once that was cleared up however, the flight was nice, scenery was majestic and the landing and brief stop was peaceful and other-worldly. I would recommend this trip. Price was also more competitive than other tours.
