We had a very enjoyable day. I was surprised that our guide didn't go with us, but considering the number of stairs and how often he takes people there I can't say that I blame him. I would not recommend this tour for anyone incapable of climbing A LOT of stairs, but both the view and the caves themselves were well worth the climb.

We had a great time at the caves. I was surprised that the guide didnt go with us, but I guess considering how many stairs there are I cant blame him. Both the view and the caves themselves were well worth the climb, but I wouldnt recommend this tour to anyone who has difficulty with stairs. We took a private tour, so had plenty of time to explore the caves and the surrounding area.

Our guide gave us some interesting information about the city, caves etc., but didn't actually accompany us into the caves, leaving us to explore them on our own. That said, there isn't a huge amount to be explained inside the caves themselves. They're decorated in a rather tacky fashion, and unfortunately they're currently undergoing major renovation, so are something of a building site! We still found them interesting to see, and our guide driver was very accommodating about modifying the itinerary to help us see the sights we wanted.

Guide was so knowledgable and friendly. Gave us a greater understanding for the area than we would've gotten otherwise

A fantastic tour! Batu caves is a definite must-see when visiting KL. Despite the hundreds of steps up, its very much worth it as the cave and the views are incredible. My guide was very knowledgeable and told me all about the history of the caves and their cultural and religious importance. Highly informative and interesting! He even took me into the Ramayana Cave just around the corner as well, as we were a bit ahead of schedule, which was just beautiful to see! I highly recommend!

Driver was on time and was easy to understand. The cave was very interesting and a must see sight. We passed on a couple of store stops and we had seen them the day before on a previous tour.

though a profeesional guide was promised, no guide was given. we were merely driven from site to site and left to fend for ourselves.

I expected more from this experience. Save your money and just get a taxi to the caves. This was not a private tour. Our guide dropped us off at the base of the caves and said to meet back at the car in an hour. That is not a private tour. Once we climbed the 270 odd steps to the entrance, we were surrounded from the front to the back of the caves with rubbish everywhere. If this is supposed to be a temple people worship in, then why do they trash it? Absolutely disgusting.
