This was an awesome tour of the Grand Canyon. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the helicopter. The staff at pick up, check in and flight were phenomenal. Our pilot was extremely polite and very knowledgeable of the sites we were flying over. He gave us all kinds of insight into the area. We had awesome views of the canyon and everything on the way to it. The landing down in the Canyon was great. Experienced awesome views and got to enjoy champagne and light snacks. You are able to walk around and take pictures and just take in the beautiful views. Our pilot even took a couple pics of us together. While in the Canyon our pilot was very friendly and conversational. All around great guy to have as a pilot and guide, couldn't of asked for a better experience. Will def recommend this to family and friends.

This was the best birthday experience! Viator was very easy to book with and we were very pleased with this tour. Maverick's courtesy van picked us up, right outside our hotel and delivered us back at the end of the trip. The team at Maverick was amazing! Our pilot, Clint, let this Maine birthday girl and her husband sit in the front seat for the trip to the Canyon and answered my questions about the equipment and views. We loved his sense of humor and very much enjoyed talking with him. The flight in to the canyon was everything we had hoped for and more. I am still in a sense of awe. We will definitely book future tours through Viator and highly recommend others to do the same! By the way, we also booked the Hoover Dam Tour through Viator...it's was another great day of adventure and knowledge. When in Las Vegas, make sure to take in these two tours and let someone else do the driving so you can sit back and relax, like a vacationer should!

Tour guide Scott was friendly, professional and did his best to ensure everyone had a fun and safe trip. The view from the helicopter was great and the canyon itself was epic. I would have however liked to spend more than 15 mins at the canyon and the food was very basic, just crackers and cheese.

We spent a good few hours going through all the canyon tours available - bus, plane and helicopter. Obviously the later cost considerably more, but we decided it was worth paying the extra cost about 300 each for the thrill of the helicopter, the opportunity to land on the canyon floor and to save 10 hours plus sat on a bus. Were we disappointed ... hell no! We were collected promptly from the hotel around 7.15am for a short drive to Henderson airfield. There were 6 of us in the helicopter, plus captain Keith, but visibility was great ... something these helicopters are known for. Maverick the operator have A LOT of these choppers, so it certainly wasnt a budget company. Flight time out to the canyon was around 45 minutes, with captain Keith playing some great music over the headphones, along with commentary. We flew fast and low and Keith made sure everyone got a great view of Hoover Dam as we flew past. We were the first in the canyon and Id really recommend taking an early tour as I would assume the canyon, with its number of landing sites, could become noisy. We had some lovely champagne and a pastry and about 30 mins to look around and take photos before heading back. It was great that everyone got to have a go sitting in the front but as I said, there is great visibility whatever seat youre in 4 in the back, 3 in the front.

This was a great way to see the Canyon. I only had a short time and they made it so easy. Pick u up at hotel, streamlined check-in, get in a beautiful helicopter and off you go!!! You get a bird's eye view of Hoover dam and the Canyon. You get to land, for about 30 minutes, in the Canyon so you can really get the feel of how big it is. It seems expensive at first but if you want to check this one off your bucket list in half a day....this is the ticket!!

We couldn't have been happier with this trip. Our pilot was super professional and made sure we were comfortable and relaxed it was our first time in a helicopter so that we could enjoy the sights properly. Needless to say the flight was very safe and smooth and our pilot was both friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had more than enough time at the base of the canyon to enjoy our snacks and champagne, and our pilot helped us with photos. I could see the landing spot for the other operators and was very pleased that I chose the package I did - we were in the heart of the canyon whilst other tourists were simply looking down from the top. Would recommend to anybody.

We did not get the trip we signed up for. Our trip was supposed to include a fly-over of The Strip but that didn't happen. I pointed that out to the pilot and the people at the airport and they said that the tours that fly out of Henderson never fly over The Strip. How was I to know that? I didn't know where the tour was flying out of when I bought it. Anyhow I enjoyed the Canyon very much but was disappointed that the tour I bought was mis-represented.

One of the best things I have ever done. Our pilot Connor was fantastic, really informative and funny. We were very lucky in that there were only 4 of us on the helicopter and so my husband and I had front seats on the journey out to the canyon and then we swapped over and sat in the back for the ride back to Henderson. Views were epic and to land in the canyon for a champagne breakfast was a fantastic wedding anniversary treat to ourselves. Transfers to and from Hotel were on time and faultless. I knows its not cheap but do this and you will remember it for the rest of your lives.

Our pilot Jesse was fantastic and helpful, with the utmost professionalism. Though it was our first helicopter ride ever, not once were we fearful or felt anything less than absolute enjoyment during the trip. I proposed to my now fiancé in the canyon and everything went great! Jesse along with the other tour guests were so kind to take lots of photos for us to remember the proposal, and we had about 30 mins to admire the sights. The tour made for a special moment for us, but for WHATEVER reason you're in Vegas this is definitely a must-do activity if you're short on time and can swing the cost!
