Reach speeds only legal on the race track in an once-in-a-lifetime experience. Get in the drivers seat and enjoy 8 laps around the speedway in a 358 cubic inch V-8 NASCAR style racecar that roars with 600HP.
You’ll begin your Rookie Experience with a mandatory orientation which includes two elements of safety and instruction training, in-car and on-track instruction. This will give you a chance to ask questions and learn everything you to need to know about the racing experience. You’ll also get a photo session outside of your racecar before taking off on the track.
After the driver’s meeting, you'll be suited up in a regulation helmet, neck guard and drivers suit for your safety. Then you can enjoy 1 to 2 hours of fun-filled driving in your professional NASCAR stock car. After successfully completing your 8 laps, you’ll receive a graduation packet that includes a time sheet with a breakdown of each lap driven.

I did the 3-lap ride-along experience while my brother did the 8-lap driving option. As NASCAR fans, we were excited to get this opportunity and it did not disappoint. It was exhilarating. The staff is wonderful.

Our experience was amazing!! I bought this for my father's 60th birthday as he is obsessed with Nascar. The staff was very helpful and made our experience a pleasurable one. Myself, husband and uncle also did the ride along experience. It's definitely on the top 10 best things we have ever done. Next time we are in Vegas we would do it again. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime!

Making the booking was easy and great service . Making arrangements to be picked up part of the trip was a nightmare with yourselves saying it had to be booked by Richard Petty and them saying saying it had to be booked through Viator. When finally booked I was given the wrong pick up time and missed the slot for the drive. Luckily Richard Petty were fantastic and managed to book us on another slot ..same day. The Rookie experience was fabulous and well organised . I showed them the confirmation that I had received from Viator and they are going to contact yourselves as a lot of the details were wrong

As soon as I can I will return and do it again. Everyone there was very accommodating and helpful. You can put this on your bucket list if you are a Nascar fan or even if you are not..

I have been fortunate to travel the world and do many exhilarating things. But doing the Richard Petty rookie experience is one of the best things I have ever done. The staff and the whole experience is once in a lifetime experience. The roar and the feeling of driving a 600 horsepower vehicle is unbelievable, a must do.

From start to finish the crew at Richard Petty were friendly and approachable. _br/_
The pre drive briefing very helpful without leaving you with the feeling of being overloaded with too much information and the drive totally exhilarating but never feeling that you should push yourself past your own boundaries. _br/_
All in all a great way to get over jet lag and I can't wait for my next visit I just know I could have pushed it just that little bit harder._br/_

My partner did this tour and he said it was the HIGHTLIGHT to our travels. Not everyone gets the chance to do this and it was trully a fun experience. It was a dream since he was a child and he will cherish the memories. The staff made it even better with their friendly and bubbly personalities. Really fun day.

Excellent experience. Very well organised and instructors very good. Although this was an expensive experience there are very few places where you are going to be able to jump into this sort of car and drive it on a banked track. The merchandise, photos and videos were very expensive but there was no pressure to buy any of these additional items. Would recommend the experience if you are into motor sports or just like driving fast, you don't even need to be a Nascar fan to enjoy this.

The adrenalin was pumping for the whole day after the drive, I really want to do it again to see if my lap times improve! Excellent service that also allows a spectator to go on transport, through the workshop and trackside to watch the driver. The most amazing experience ever!!

The rookie experience is limited to 135mph, lap average of 120mph, you can't go faster than that, regardless of what they tell you. Viator don't tell you what time of the day of booking your drive is- you need to contact Richard Petty's office. Poor service by Viator

Well my husband had "the best time of his life" as my son put it. He would recommend this very highly for anyone interested in driving and driving fast. My son did the ride along and enjoyed this very much also. The driving experience is very expensive but if its your thing then go for it - you will not be disapointed.

If you like speed this is a must. You follow three lengths behind a pace car and if he thinks you are comfortable he increases speed each lap. The sensation on the banking was awesome and although the cars are probably capable of lapping much faster, my last laps average speed of 119.15 MPH certainly gave me a buzz. An unforgettable experience. DO IT!
