Loved this trip. Our host Trever gave us lots of great local info and knew his facts and myths. He was exceptionally entertaining and we loved his interaction with the guests. This was an amazing tour! Not only did we get the excellent driving and comedic relief from Steve Steve, Steve, Steve!!! and the hilarious commentary of Jason also the really interesting history and information about the surrounding area, but we were also treated to a delicious sit-down lunch after the tour on the way back to Vegas. It is an excellent value and one of the best tours I've been on. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to tour the Hoover Dam.

This was a fun tour and a great way to see one of the engineering wonders of the world. Jason was a good, dam guide and he made the trip even more fun. He had a wealth of knowledge about the history of Las Vegas and the whole dam tour. Pick a place to be picked up close to your hotel, or where ever you decide to have breakfast that day. The tour will drop you off at any other hotel on the list, so if you have other plans, it may be close to where you want to go. This was a most of the day event, but not tiring, so you are still ready for an evening in Vegas. Definitely a must see stop, especially if you are interested in engineering or American history, but even if you are not, the dam is simply awe-inspiring.

This tour was great. I would definitely recommend it. The bus picked us up on time. I thought our guide, Trez, hit the right balance between entertaining and informative. We stopped and walked across the memorial bypass bridge, which gives you an awesome view of the dam. Then we walked on the dam itself, with our guide giving us lots of interesting info. Then we had the actual power plant tour, where you see the generators. On the way home, we stopped for lunch, which is included in the price of the tour. We placed our orders while we were on the bus, and the guide called them in, so the wait for the food was minimal.

Brilliant! 100 recommended thanks to Jason and Steve! As others have said, these guys are a scream ... the journey there was insightful and a right laugh ... Jason should be on the comedy circuit! He also knows EVERYONE at the dam so we got unlimited access to all areas! Food stop-off was great too included in the price so overall, the best IMO Hoover Dam tour available. Only down side was the bus had REALLY dark tints so it was hard seeing out at the passing scenery at times ... but I guess it helps in summer!

Viator was very easy to book through and to contact with questions. We were transported by Comedy on Tour's custom coach bus 'the Dam Bus' from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam. Upon pick up we were notified by the tour guide Trev 'Cletus' Mala that there would not be any tours to the inside of the dam, due to what the dam personnel would say as elevators not in service. However, we later learned it was due to a national security alert. We were offered a refund, if we chose to exit the bus, at that time. As much as we were looking forward to seeing the bowels of the dam, we did not want to miss the rest of the tour. Trev kept everyone well entertained during the ride to the dam. He was very knowledgeable and kept the one liners flowing. One of our favorite points of the trip was to climb the stairs to reach the bridge level for our opportunity to walk out on the bridge overlooking the Hoover Dam. There are switch back ramps available for those who can not/or choose not to climb stairs. The walk on to the bridge was exhilarating and I would recommend it to all! Take a walk across to Arizona and back to Nevada. Just remember to either remove your hat or hang on! If the canyon winds don't take it, a gust of wind from a passing 18-wheeler just might! We gleaned a good deal of information from the slide show presentation and Trev's guided tour on the top of the dam. We were also given sufficient time to explore on our own and visit the gift shop. Aside from missing out on the generator tour, the only thing we would change was the lunch option. Although the food was good, it was at the Omelet House. We were hoping for a more authentic diner, such as a locally owned and operated business instead of a chain restaurant. However, we understand the difficulty of accommodating a bus load of patrons. All in all we had a great day, thanks to Viator, Comedy on Tours and Trev Mala! Thank you all! We will be booking through Viator again in the future.

This was a very interesting and fun filled tour made good by our wonderful tour guide. I am horrible at names and feel badly that I cannot give her the cudos she so rightly deserves but this pretty dark haired girl was one of the best . She made the drive go quickly as she conversed with the group, and she could remember names, unlike me and conveyed a lot of facts and history of the dam. Walking was easy for all age groups. We were able to see everything at a nice pace. We did not feel rushed and took many pictures. We were able to stop on the way back to town to eat a hot lunch at a restaurant. They called our order in ahead of our arrival which worked out well. I highly recommend this tour.

I had a wonderful time at the actual Hoover Dam site. _br/_ I didnt enjoy Jason the guide nor Steve the driver because in an effort to be funny, he lied, stretched facts that were proven wrong by the people at the Hoover Dam._br/_ He needs to stay away from talking about religion, politics, current and past Presidents and current issues because he does know who is riding on the bus and their beliefs. I didnt pay to hear him put down my beliefs. _br/_ He should also leave out talking about his daughter mooning his ex wife and other things about his family. It wasnt funny._br/_ I will recommend Viator to others but not Comedy on Deck.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The bus was very comfortable, and right on time. Our guide was very good, but the constant Comedy Club chatter wore a little thin. He was very knowledgeable, and did keep us entertained. Our time at the bridge and Dam was just about right. The biggest problem at the dam was that the elevator broke down just before our group was to get on, so we never did get to see the turbines. But, that was not the tour's fault. Some better communication about what to do and where to get refunds would have been nice, but again, that was not the tour's fault. The included lunch was just fine. Nothing gourmet, but very tasty. We pre-ordered on the bus, so everything was ready when we got there. No waiting. I don't mind tipping the guide, but it did seem a little excessive to be expected to tip the driver, too.

If you are like me and are concerned that there was not enough information available when selecting a tour, you have nothing to be concerned about with Jason and Steve at Comedy on Deck. I went on the tour to appease my wife and ended up having an enjoyable time. As I was walking around the dam and hearing other tour guides giving their drab facts, I realized how fortunate we were to have Jason. We used Comedy on Deck Tours. The tour guide Cleofus.....LOL was outstanding. Made the bus ride fun and enjoyable. The driver Steve was great and safe. Very informative. I was pleasantly surprised that we actually went inside the actual dam. When we toured the Bridge and saw the outside, I was happy with that. But then the tour took us inside by the genrators. OUTSTANDING!!!
