From start to finish this was the highlight of our trip. Comfortable air conditioned bus to the ranch, water on arrival, the cleanest portaloo I have even seen and very authentic ranch. Horses and trail were fab and the guys really know their stuff. The food at the barbecue was fantastic, cooked to a high standard and nice cold soft drinks and water. Planned and executed to the finest details. Well done guys. Never met such a fab bunch of people. Chicken or steak with corn on the cob, and apple pie for afters. Take a hat, wear long trousers, take a light fleece and wear trainers. Wonderful trip and would recommend it.

For a first time rider, this was a good intro. The guides were very helpful and attentive during the whole ride. Dinner was also good. The best part was when they turned off the lights and you will see the star-filled sky.

We had a group of 3 individuals from England, 2 from Australia and two from America. It was a wonderful group and we all enjoyed the ride through the dessert and the sunset was breathtaking. Our guides - Cesar and Gecko were terrific. Gecko doesn't talk much but he is a good guide. Cesar was very information and easy to talk to. Take this trip - you won't regret it.

This was amazing. Going out to the ranch and seeing the horses and then riding the Spanish trail was fantastic. The horses are well behaved and the scenery is beautiful. The BBQ was lovely. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

James picked us up right on time and he was super friendly and shared lots of info about Vegas on our drive to the ranch. He made us a very hardy meal for after our ride and made sure we all had plenty of water during the whole tour. _br/_ Ceasar and Gecco, our tour guides were so sweet and friendly. They had a very gentle way with the horses and with us! They made sure that everyone was comfortable on their horses and we all had great conversation. They made everyone feel at ease and answered all of our questions. This is a rustic experience, so be prepared to get dusty and dirty. The cattle dogs were so adorable too! I recommend this tour even to those who have never been on a horse. Super doable.

We booked this for our last evening in Vegas. We were picked up from our hotel and the drive to the ranch was 45 minutes or so. Our driver was a bit heavy on the gas and was pretty fast driving along the freeway, which was pretty bumpy so for us in the back, sometimes the bumps were a bit uncomfortable. Once we arrived at the ranch we met Caeser and Gecko. Caeser was our main guide and took us through all the details regarding the horses how to ride, hold the reins, place feet in stirrups and not fall off! The horses are all very well kept and looked really healthy. They are pretty big but they are gentle and happily plod along the trail, so if you are a nervous horserider like I was then they are very kind. My horse was Cricket and he looked after me very well indeed. The trail lasts 1hr 15 mins 1hr 45 mins depending on the speed at which you go. We set off just before sunset. The scenery is stunning and its so peaceful. On our way round, we saw a tarantula spider which didnt bother the horses thankfully. After the trail, we had a cowboy style dinner steak or chicken, corn on the cob, jacket potato and apple pie and then sat around the campfire for a bit. We also had a lassoo lesson which was fun. There is a porta-loo at the ranch which is clean, so you can use before the trail. I would like to say a personal thanks to Caeser who really took care of me in the beginning as I was very nervous. He really helped me keep calm and actually got me to relax a bit on the horse! Thank you Caeser.

This was the best fun ever! James our driver picked us up and on the 45 minute drive was so knowledgeable and interesting, pointing out all kinds of things as we went. Caesar and Gecko led the riding part of the trip and made everyone feel relaxed even if they had never ridden before. Their dogs came with us on the ride. The horses were lovely and the sunset spectacular. James cooked an amazing steak and apple pie meal afterwards and we had a go at learning to throw a lasso with Caesar and Gecko. A must do if you go to Vegas!

What an amazing experience from start to finish. James our driver was an absolute fountain of local knowledge and made the journey to the ranch very enjoyable He also cooks a mean steak Our ranch hands Cesar and Gecko were both very experienced and made us all feel very relaxed as most of our party had not been on a horse before. The whole evening was perfect, a definite must and the sight coming back into Vegas was spectacular after being in the dark dessert. Would definitely do it again.

This was the second time my husband and I participated in this tour. And this experience was just as lovely as the first. :o. The only thing that I might recommend is that the guides actually stop for photo taking as the sun is going down. I mean that is what we are paying for... a sunset tour. And we had an UNBELIEVABLY MAGNIFICENT sunset with sherbet colors exploding across the sky. It was crazy gorgeous and would have been extremely nice to be able to capture some photos without the gentle joltings from your horse, which can often make it tricky to get that particular shot every photographer dreams of. :o. Dinner was scrumptious... can't beat those good 'ole cowboy eats... steak, baked potato, corn on the cob, and warm apple pie!!! Yuuuuuuuummy!

This is the second time we have done this trip and the first time 2 years ago it was fantastic with the ride, sunset, BBQ and campfire etc. This time they have changed the organizer guy who picks you up and he was far less chatty, the food was OK but not great many people didn't eat their steak and the apple pie was a cheap packet he opened up there was no camp fire afterwards and he seemed in a hurry to return us to Vegas. Shame as last time was fantastic so we either got him on a bad day or he is not as in to it as the last host was.

I booked this tour for my family and the 3 of us just loved the relaxing and peaceful time spent in the wild nature in the Indian Moapa reservation._br/_ diner was awesome as well, all 3 of us had the steaks - yum yum ! _br/_ Everything from pick up to return was perfectly organized, the only thing you need to take care of is : enjoy the ride and relax !!! does not that sound great ?_br/_ This evening made our holidays in NV really special. _br/_ Even people who never rode horses can do it, there is nothing to be afraid of. horses are very quiet, and taken care of with love._br/_ thank you to James, Cesar and his dad for a wonderful unforgetable time with the horses and the dogs - we will keep these memories forever !

What a delightful experience, best ever! James our driver and great steak chef picked me up from the hotel prompt, very Friday and made me feel welcomed being a solo traveller I really appreciated that. His drive to the Ranch was informative and a tour of its own which broke into free chatter in the van. _br/_ At the Ranch we were warmly greeted by Ceasar and his gorgeous three dogs and Gecko sorry for any mis-spellings. Introductions to our horse and a low down in how to ride I don't horse ride so perfect for beginners and then we were off! An amazing western experience through the desert, rocks and hills with the dogs in tow. Saw a Mountain Goat hanging his head off one of the close mountains, some rabbits and a beautiful sun set once back at the ranch. I didn't see any Jack Rabbits or Road Runners perhaps next time as I will return!._br/_ Sunset BBQ cooked by James, steak cooked perfectly cowboy style BBQ and tasty apple pie for afters followed by a lasoo tutorial if you wished._br/_ An amazing evening which I will never forget. Thank you James, Ceasar, Gecko and of course my horse allocated ride Pocahontas.

Great experience whether you are a seasoned rider or never ridden before, the horses follow each other along a track with 2 guides who were very helpful and informative. Beautiful scenery and a fab sunset, gets a little cold as evening goes on. WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!! I apologize I can't remember my other guides name but the one I do remember was Gecko, and can't remember our van driver. It was cold as we went towards the end of February, but it was such a great experience for my fiance who has never been on a horse. The view was amazing and if we come again we will certainily take this tour. We did the evening ride. PROPS to our van driver who made us a delicious hot meal and it was waiting for us as soon as we got off the horses.

What an amazing experience! We were picked up promptly by James, who drove us safely to the ranch, pointing out places of interest and giving us a fun and informative ride! We were greeted at the ranch by 3 beautiful Australian Cattle dogs who were very friendly and loved a fuss. Caesar gave us a safety talk and explained in detail how best to ride the horses and make the most of our experience. Gecko was the trail leader walking us through the most beautiful and unbelievable trail. Whilst we were on the ride, James was busy preparing the MOST delicious meal. There as a lady celebrating her birthday and James had brought her some cupcakes to celebrate, a lovely touch. This trip was the highlight of my Las Vegas adventure. I would definately do it again. After eating we sat around the camp fire and chatted. Caesar was an excellent host and made us feel special. James took us home sharing more interesting facts on the way. The horses I rode Julie my husband rode Hope were a dream to ride. So gentle and obedient ideal for novice and experienced riders.

The Wild West Sunset Horseback Ride was one of the best things we did on our Las Vegas Trip. It was nice to get a break from the Big City and enjoyed life on the ranch!! This evening was really fantastic and we highly recommend to do it! We did this on the evening before our helicopter-wedding and were very impressed from the whole trip. The organization of the trip was great, also the barbecue and afterwards the atmosphere at the fireplace was really exciting and all people were very nice. Many thanks again for this good time to the whole team Jorge, Pepe, ... haha...-. Now to the trip: We were picked up like agreed by our driver, and by the way phantastic barbecue cook, James. After about 45min we arrived at the ranch in the Red Rock Mountains. In a next step cowboy Cesar advise us perfectly how to ride a horse. After a few minutes we started the trip along the Spanish Trail. Due to cowboy Gecko and its orientation skills we got not lost in the desert along the wonderful horseback ride. This trip is really a must if you visit Las Vegas and you get a lot for your money! Thanks a lot to you guys and also to our horses Celine and Pocahontas, on our next visit in Las Vegas we will do fore sure this great tour again. The horses were all so well behaved and our guides Cesar and Geko were brilliant too, made us feel at ease straight away. The horse I rode was called Celine and my boyfriend's one was called Hope, both so beautiful and gentle. The horse ride itself was about an hour long and went all over, so many things to see! I saw a roadrunner, hawk and a lot of rabbits! The dogs came out with us and they were amazing, so obedient and got on with the horses so well too!

Absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Vegas, we enjoyed this amazing experience last Saturday! Daryl picked us up from our resort hotel bang on time and offered us a bottle of water for the 45min journey there. The owner, his horses and dogs! were all lovely. He checks to see if you've ridden before and allocates the right horse for you and explains their way of riding, I had the privilege of riding Posh who was just so gentle. It was really windy, so if this is the case when you go it may be wise to take your sunglasses and pick up a neckerchief! The hack through the desert with 10 others was just amazing, the sunset over the mountains, sounds of quails, just the rawness of the place will take your breath away! When we returned Daryl had prepared our BBQ which was so tasty and welcome after the ride and then he took us back to our resorts. Just brilliant and will remember this adventure forever! X
