Enjoy a complete tour of the beautiful cultural town of Lima, also know as the City of Kings. You’ll see classic historical sights, colonial and Inca influenced architecture, residential neighborhoods, beautiful shrines and churches and incredible panoramic seascapes. You'll be able to see Lima through the eyes of a local and feel at home for the rest of your stay in Peru!
Departing from your hotel, you'll head to the Lima Historical Center, the old side of the city and the capital of the Peruvian viceroyalty. Stop at the “Love Park” (Parque del Amor) built in a peculiar Gaudi style and where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Lima Bay. Next, you'll head over to the residential district of San Isidro where you'll be able to visit the “Huaca Pucllana,” a famous ceremonial center built before the Spaniards arrived.
Visit the main square and enjoy a view of the Presidential and Municipal Palaces, two immense buildings whose grandeur is sure to capture your fascination.
Then, it's on to the Lima Cathedral (in the Plaza de Armas) to visit the tomb of the Spanish Conqueror Francisco Pizarro. After, you'll visit the Santo Domingo Convent and it's expansive monastery.
Other landmarks visited on this Lima sightseeing tour include the Museum of Religious Art and the Historical Center. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Church of Santo Domingo, a place which holds the remains of two of the major saints of the colony: Santa Rosa de Lima and San Martin de Porres.
Carlos was a really good guide but it would have been nice to have been able to stop at san martin square.

Ursula was a wonderful Peruvian tour guide. We were in the plaza the day Pwry was participating in the soccer ⚽️ game. Security was present everywhere! I loved the San Martin de Porras introduction,as well the story of Sta Rosa de Lima. I recommend you stay in the Main plaza and have lunch at Tantas restaurant . Amazing !

We had a great time exploring Lima. We saw the area of Miraflores close to our hotel then went to see the cathedrals in the city. My group was the only one on this tour. Only downside is the stated time is 4 hours and we only spent about 2-2.5 hours sightseeing. Professional staff and transportation. Would recommend.

Okay- ish. Nothing out of the ordinary that you cannot do yourself. Simply exaggerated. Leaves you with very little time to spend by yourself or to even take pictures. Most of the time is spent sitting in a bus observing Lima City traffic!

Great tour. We had only the afternoon available for visiting Lima since we were leaving the next morning for Cuzco. We were picked up on time at our hotel in San Isidro disctict. Great guide ...very informative and detailed and very knowledgable . Visits to all the main attractions and places..giving the limited time frame we saw everything we wanted to see and more.We left at 2:00 pm and were brougt back at 6:30 pm to our hotel. Would recomend this tour to everyone with a morning or afternoon to spare.

I was the only person in that day at that time to take the tour. As it was bought in a rush, didn't fully check the tour plan. So the tour ended only after 2 hours these were very good 2 hours, filled with sight-seeings and information, however after the tour I understood that we did not visit the Love Park and beach, which was part of the tour and would take at least another 1 hour. Perhaps something else was also cut out of the tour. So please check well in advance the tour plan and places included in the visit plan. _br/_ The tour guide was very nice and experienced, proposed to take photos. From what I saw, all was incredible.

We enjoyed our tour although being a little bit jet lagged. I had scheduled it in the afternoon so we had the morning to walk around and mistakenly went and seen some of the things that were on the tour already. But we still enjoyed it. Lima is very nice but I was disappointed to see that there are many KFCs and McDonalds there. The point of traveling is to experience different cultures, its traditions and foods. Its waste of time and money to travel 3000 miles to see American versions of McDonalds. Its ok for McDonalds to have franchises in Peru but they should at least have a Peruvian feel and twist to it and have a Peruvian menu. I am sure the locals may appreciate them but as an American, I was raised on McDonalds and there is one on just about every major boulevard in the US and dont care for them while traveling overseas.

There were some lovely parks and squares that we saw via the bus, and it would have been nice to see them as part of the tour. Mary was a good guide, her English was fantastic and was able to explain the history of the city. My friend and I didn't take the transport back to our hotel after the tour, we decided to walk around the centre of town, well worth your time. I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the sights of Lima in a short period of time.

We started at the Park of Love and then went down to the Plaza de Armas to see the Cathedral and Dominican Convent. Our guide Gabriella was very nice and informative. She pointed out landmarks along the way as well as giving us some background on the conquest and each site we visited. The only drawback I found was that the tour was too short to completely explore each place we visited. It was only me and my husband on this tour, so that was nice.

Th The actual hours of the tour was about 3-3.5 hours, short of 4 hours due to traffic jam in Lima. The ancient buildings of Lima were destroyed by war and earthquake hence majority of the buildings in historical area were rebuilt. The structure is poorly rebuilt. The tour spent too much time at the monastery and story of Saint. The advantages of taking the tour is avoid busy traffic and safer in tour bus. Disadvantage Locations covered is limited and Lima is lack of interesting place of attraction.

If you only have a few days in Lima this is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. The day we went there was a protest in Lima but the tour operators did everything they could to get through the police barriers and show us the sights. Quite a focus on visiting churches / cathedral but you still get a good look at different parts of Lima.

Tour was only two hours instead of four. I think I basically just paid them to drive me from my hotel to the downtown square. The rest felt self-guided.
