Visit London's Kensington Palace, the former royal home of Queen Victoria and Princess Diana, and discover the secret and public lives of Kensington's past and present inhabitants. Save time with your pre-purchased entrance ticket and make your way through the magnificent King’s and Queen’s State Apartments and the beautiful Palace Gardens. Visit three different exhibitions, including ‘Victoria Revealed,’ set within the rooms where Queen Victoria once lived. This exhibition explores her life and reign as wife, mother, queen and empress.
London's Kensington Palace has been a royal home for over 300 years, and parts of the palace still remain a private residence for members of the Royal Family today. Following a major renovation project, the palace now unveils many secret stories of past royal figures, painting Kensington Palace as the setting for many noteworthy events and dramas in royal history. Make your way through the spectacular King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, adorned with paintings from the Royal Collection, and stroll through the Kensington Palace Gardens at your leisure.
Explore the permanent exhibition, ‘Victoria Revealed,’ which is set within the rooms where Victoria grew up. Queen Victoria was born in the palace, and it was here that she learned she had become queen at just 18 years of age. She also held her first Privy Council meeting in Kensington Palace’s Red Saloon. Inspired by her own journals and featuring displays of personal objects, ‘Victoria Revealed’ gives an intimate account of Queen Victoria, exploring her life and reign through her own words.

Enjoyed all the exhibits, especially all the information about Queen Victoria. There is a person in each room and one young gentleman who was in the dining room where you can actually sit at the table! shared a lot of great information about Victoria and how she became Queen. The nice thing about this tour was that there was no specific entrance time, so we were able to arrive when it suited us best. Luckily there was absolutely no line when we went there on a Tuesday around noon time. Very enjoyable.

Very straightforward and easy to pickup our tickets. We toured on our own and staff was readily available to answer questions. My daughter loved Princess Diana's fashion section which was a collection of our wardrobe pieces. The surrounding gardens and nearby pond were beautiful!

Hyde park in front is good to walk and spend afternoon. Palace is ok but not more than 45 minutes.

We enjoyed this do it yourself tour. We pre-purchased the tickets so that we could budget our stay in London so we didn't have to come up with cash or CC to purchase the tickets.

We love to go at our own pace, so this was the perfect way to see Victoria's childhood home.

You enter direct, saves times because the ticket line was long even before the palace opened.

Lovely, but much better ways to spend your time in London.
So glad we got to see Kensington. Beautiful grounds and gardens. The Diana exhibit was wonderful. Had a great tour inside and out and ended with desert at the cafe.

My visit to Kensington Palace was enjoyable, but not quite what I was expecting. After visiting Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Hampton Court in the past, I was anticipating a similar experience. I expected a guided tour and to see more treasures, not realizing that it is almost an empty palace which no doubt explained the difference in entrance fees!. But the guide who gave an introduction to the Victoria section was excellent, and although there wasn't much to ooh and ah about, it was an enjoyable afternoon. I was lucky that the exhibition of Diana's clothes was on while I was there, which added to the experience.

Not worth it at all unless you are after reading lots and lots of history. No audio guides with crowded narrow spaces. The only lucky part which redeemed this day what that it was Princess Diana memorial of 20 years, so her wardrobe collection was on display, this was remarkable!

We loved this tour, especially because we were able to see the Princess Diana gown exhibit, but also because of the history of this royal palace and the proximity to current royal residences on site._br/_ We didn't see Prince George and Princess Charlotte playing in the park but we LOVED seeing the Diana garden still in bloom.

The palace and grounds were beautiful and the exhibit of Diana's dresses was extraordinary! Wonderful day!

While not as glitzy as Windsor Castle or Blenheim Palace, it was a very interesting look at history. So much happened there! We listened to three different docents talk about the history. The Diana exhibit is a must. We spent about 3 1/2 hours at Kensington Palace finishing off our visit with a great scone clotted cream and jam at the cafe.

Enjoyed seeing the dresses up close but I thought there would be more of them. As the Palaces website had run out of their allocation of tickets for the day I wanted I was very pleased to purchase tickets from a third party. No queues going in at 10:45 a.m. The rest of the exhibits were not as impressive as say National Trust properties. The white garden was worth going to see but I believe you can enter the garden from the park without paying the rather expensive admission charge.

It was a very interesting visit to the Kensington Palace. It was easy to tour but I would have preferred a more guided one. I especially liked the Queen Victoria section. There was a talk given in the dining hall which was very good. I was disappointed that the Diana exhibit was not open until one o'clock. We had to leave before then. The Palace is stunning and the grounds are beautiful!

We loved our tour of Kensington Palace! We also got to see the exhibit of Princess Diana's clothing, which was beautiful. The gardens were so beautiful as well. At the end of our tour we had tea and treats in the tea room, well worth it and delicious!

Brilliant day, thoroughly enjoyed it and learned such a lot about our history, just a shame it was gap between the different exhibitions. Will be returning soon to see the Diana exhibition. Booking through yourselves was easy, printed the voucher off and changed them at the entrance for our tickets, no problems. Thank you

I really enjoyed touring the palace and walking through the gardens. The palace has a fascinating history and should be enjoyed in its own right. It was worth buying an advance ticket to get out of the ticket office line. Get the official souvenir book too--it's full of info about this beautiful royal home!

This is an excellent experience, especially for anyone interested in Queen Victoria. This was her home and she loved it. While it is not nearly as elaborate as some of the other palaces, it is quite impressive and the grounds are amazing. Take time to do the palace tour, but allow even more time for the grounds. The grounds are adjacent to Hyde Park, and an all day walkabout would not be out of the question in tying them all together.
