Be fast-track transported to the darkest moments in London's history at the creepiest attraction in town, the London Dungeon. Enjoy your spine-chilling appointment with Sweeny Todd. Can you bear a face-to-face encounter with the merciless Jack the Ripper?
Everything you see in the London Dungeon is based on actual historical events, from Jack the Ripper to the Great Fire of London, torture in the Tower of London and the grisly plague years. Live actors, shows, rides and interactive special effects ensure you'll face your fears head on in this unique experience!
Meet Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street - a short back and sides (1785-style) could be just the thing to round off your visit—but will you get more than you bargained for? Keep your wits about you to make sure you don’t become the next filling in Mrs. Lovett’s famous pies!
1888, and the fear rises inside you as you enter Jack the Ripper’s Whitechapel. As you wander the stinking slums, the true horror of his terrible crimes is revealed. Then a scream, the flash of a cloak and an evil smile as you come face to face with Jack the Ripper himself … will you survive?
Experience a Victorian séance gone wrong on Vengeance: the UK’s first 5D laser ride. As you spin around in the darkness, can you duck, dive, dodge and shoot your way out? A high speed, high adrenaline ride, this is the ultimate ghost hunt with you at the heart of the action.
Finally, embark upon your last journey on Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom! At the mercy of the hangman, you are at the very point of death and the end is drawing near. Taste the fear and feel the adrenaline pump as the trapdoor opens and your heart shoots into your throat as you drop, screaming into the darkness below…
How long you spend at the London Dungeon is up to you, but many visitors find a minimum of 1.5 hours to be sufficient.

I took my son on this tour and we loved it. Done it before a few years back but equally enjoyed it again. At the end we stopped in the pub to have a drink with tokens they gave us, this was really good.

Well worth purchasing these tickets through Viator! We were able to walk straight in at the allocated time. This was an educational and historical experience with a high level of fun! I went with my 15 year old and she LOVED IT!

The entertainers were very good but not quite what we were expecting. Thought it would have been scarier, still worth a visit. When we went the boat ride wasn't working which was a shame.

Very educational yet overly fun. This is something for all ages. It was by far one of our top three things we did in London.

Amazing, scary, fun and so worth a trip to The London Dungeon. The actors potrayal of historical figures was brilliant. The show lasts for 90 minutes and takes you through a London that most would know about but not seen to that final moment that cannot be described but needs to be experience. Miss the London Dungeon and you'll regret it.

Not my cup of tea but my teenage son enjoyed it. Typical canned tourist attraction. It was very hot in the line when you first go in and the line was very long. Granted, we were there late June. Kids enjoy it and the actors were good.

Despite numerous trips to London, this was my first time with our 12 year old son and I thought this experience would be right up his alley. Turns out we all loved it. Lots of fun! A bit different! The actors do a really fine job and seem to be having as much fun as the guests are having. While it might seem a bit trivial when compared to all there is to see in London with historical significance, this is a bit of a time- out from the educational and a nice change of pace. Overall, a terrific overall experience.

Good for a scare, or a laugh at others getting scared. Was good to hear about the history of London whilst getting a feel for what it was like in that era.

The entrance is right near the London Eye. The event was great. There was lots of standing, which was a little hard for the kids.

Lots of fun, interesting and great tour guides/actors

Complete waste of money. The way this place was described, we thought this was more like a museum of actual dungeons rather than a haunted house that wasn't scary.

London Dungeon is a must for kids and adults, very entertaining with cheeky English humor

This is a fun thing to do in London. You get a good history of the dark side of London. It's kept PG for kids, but it can get dark and scary. Some kids were scared and were crying, others loved it, so it depends on your kid. I was bummed that the drop was down for maintenance but the boat ride was so much fun!

Don't bother with fast track . You still have to join the queue with everone else to change your e ticket into proper tickets .

Don't waste your time on this stop. It is unnecessarily long and rather boring. Better off being out and about in the real city and experiencing all the great sites and history live.

Very busy due to half term but all of us enjoyed and that's a difficult call seeing that the the kids are 15/11! Actors are brilliant. Slightly on the negative, it was very warm inside and slightly claustrophobic but this may have been due to large numbers of visitors An excellent walk through history. Recommend.
Review by: SharonKelly, January 2017
Absolutely loved this, it is a tour through how London once was and shows the history and events that made it how it is today. I loved the pub at the end of tour.
Review by: LAURA W, January 2017
Enjoyed the London Dungeon although quite a wait before the tour started. Would not recommend for small children due to being very dark at times.
Review by: Allison R, January 2017
This was a fantastic experience! It is a lot of walking and standing for smaller kids. It's a bit frightening in places, but we had 8s and a 10 and they loved it!
