A worthwhile tour when you don't have a lot of time to explore and want to see as much as possible. We went in early March and the open top bus was chilly so rug up.

Gave us a bus with no heat. Then didn’t tell us we weren’t coming back to the bus (it was a last minute decision because they went back to the yard to get a bus with heat for another tour instead). Tour guide made us miss the changing of the guard. Find another trip to go on!

Our guide was lovely, gave us a TON of information. We went on a Sunday morning, which was PERFECT. We took the Stonehenge option, so we got to see just about everything in a very short period of time. Perfect for us, as we were only in town for a few days!

Our host was good but really fast walking. Did not see changing of the guards. Do you not know what days they perform at the palace? The river cruise was great.

Sadly the morning was marred by terrible traffic and rain! It was an excellent way to reacquaint ourselves with the highlights of London. The traffic meant we couldn't go to all the sights we were expecting. The river cruise was good and the commentary interesting. I would recommend this cruise

Our tour guide Sinead was very informative and helpful we enjoyed this tour. Loved West Minister Abby and her showing us the little hideaways. We didn't like the meeting place at Victoria Station very crowded, dirty, and confusing.

The number of the gate at the Victoria coach station was wrong on our paperwork. We were running around worried that we may miss the tour we were looking so much forward. Thankfully the bus came about 30 min later due to the heavy city traffic and our tour guide Adam said he will make sure we don't miss anything. Everything started okey. We started our sight seeing on the lower part of the double -decker bus, Adam joined the bigger crowd on the top of the bus. The audio reception wasn't that great, had really hard to concentrate to understand. After about 30-45 min of very informative explanation of the surrounding we stopped for a closer look at the St. Paul cathedral disappointed that we couldn't take a look Inside of the church. Adam showed us around the cathedral and gave us couple of minutes to take some pictures. Since we were done talking pictures my husband and I decided to return to our bus, not realizing that that the bus may pick us up at the different location. That was very unfortunate, because we never found the bus or our group when we returned and had to take taxi back to the hotel. We were disappointed that they were not trying to wait or look for us, since we just walked around the corner and after not seeing the bus hurried right back, couldn't be more than 3-5 minutes. We never made to the Thames, Tower or the Palace and lost the rain coat on the bus. The sad part is that we only had few hours to see London since we were leaving early morning on a cruise and that was probably the only time in our lifetime being able to visit London from USA.

This is the way to see as much of London as possible in a short amount of time. We LOVED our Vintage Bus Tour. Our tour guide, Richard was passionate and knew so much about London's rich history that we came away feeling like experts. It was a great way to get an idea of which sites we wanted to come back and spend more time at. The bus was so charming and we lucked out with wonderful, clear blue skies. Sit on the open top and take in the wonders. You'll spend so much time craning your neck at the sky scrapers and marvelous, old architecture that you'll have a stiff neck but its oh so worth it. The cruise along the Thames is beautiful and exciting. This tour really is the best bang for your buck for the true London Experience.

Tour guide was fab. Only traumatic thing was that they drove off without me while I was getting a sandwich during a break. Had the run after them and dropped me sandwich. Sad. Apparently the staff can't even count.

What a great way to see London and have a cruise along the Thames. I would recommend that you do not take the optional London Eye along with this tour. A voucher is given for the Eye which means you have to stand in voucher line and then Eye line. It took 4 hours in line before we got on the Eye.

This tour is an absolute must! My family enjoyed it thoroughly and our guide, Richard, was fantastic. If you want to absorb London in 3 hours, this is the way to do it. The bus was epic vintage and the luxurious boat ride was just fantastic. I'd give this 10 stars if it were an option. DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR.

The bus was super cool and the tour guy was great! The tour was very personal and I would recommended if you don't have too much time to spare because this is not a hop-in hop-off bus.

If you want quick overview of the major attractions in London, this is the tour to take as you will get it all in less than 4 hours. Our guide Alan was excellant and great sense of humor and gives you some interesting commentary and insights. PS - the top of the bus is not covered except the front 3 rows of seats

This is a fun tour! You get to travel in a vintage double-decker bus. Unfortunately, the backseat of the seat I chose on the top was broken and after I changed seats it fell off completely! Vintage is one thing but I think more care needs to be taken to ensure that the bus is in good working order including the seats! Our tour guide Richard had a good sense of humor and pointed out a lot of fun things along the way. It wasn't always easy to hear him over the traffic. A cruise on the Thames is included and it added to my knowledge of the area. I opted to purchase the optional ticket to the London Eye. It's a long queue but worth doing it at least once for the great views.

It was pouring rain (of course, right), so that made it a little difficult. It was VERY hard and confusing to find the location to meet - maybe a map could be provided on the voucher - the Victoria stations got confusing. Then the line up was a mess - very confusing as to where to line up. But the tour guide was very passionate and cute and funny and we enjoyed her immensely!!

Awesome! The guide was very knowledgeable and we also loved the boat trip down the Thames. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone. My husband is a former Londoner and remembers these buses from his childhood so this was a trip down memory lane for him and made his day. You can see so many of the sites and then decide which ones you want to come back and explore some more.

A good way to start your tour of London with. We were shown all the important sights by our very knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide and I also took the Stonhenge optional excursion which was just out of this world. I also thoroughly enjoyed the cruise on the Thames.

It was nothing like the description. We did not see the changing of the guard ceremony - Shakespeare Globe, St. Paul's Cathedral or the Tower of London. Also, you could barely understand what the tour guide was even saying.

Absolutely fantastic!! Our tour guide, Jess was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable. I wish our history teachers were this much fun when I was in school. Our driver, Tony, was a magician! I'm still in awe of how he was able to get us in such tight spaces. James, our tour guide in training, was a great help in keeping all of Jess' people together! To learn while you laugh... Or laugh while you learn..What a great experience! We saw all the major landmarks and then some on this awesome tour! Highly recommend for first timers.

Great overall tour of the city. Did this tour on our first day of seven in London (first-time visitors) and loved it. Got us acclimated with the city and helped us get an idea of which sites we wanted to come back to and see in more detail, and which ones we could pass on making a second trip to. Well-organized and perfect for anyone looking to see all the main sites in London for a day.

Entertaining guide with a good knowledge of London. Really enjoyed the close proximity to the guards!

You will see most of the attractions in London in a short time and the good thing is that once the tour ends you can go back again as most of the sights are within walking distance. Changing of guards was over rated though.

This was a very good introductory tour of London and we took it after arriving on an overnight from the states. We were a bit tired but the tour provided a good basis for the rest of our stay. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable and made a few stops along the way to provide a closeup look at some sites. I would recommend this to anybody visiting for the first time.

Review by:   Justin C,    July 2014 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
Very disorganized. Started late. Overpriced very little "extra" information. Money would have been better spent riding the regular bus. The open air was cool but the front was covered and blocked a lot of "straight ahead" viewing. We got more out of the Tower of London but the Viator discount didn't make up for the bad morning experience with Richard.
