Want a change of pace from the beach scene? Head to the treetops for a thrilling zipline adventure near Maui’s North Shore. Expert guides lead you through a zipline course that provides lots of fun, high-altitude challenges and amazing views of Maui’s lush landscape. You also learn about Hawaii's history, wildlife and culture from entertaining and informative commentary throughout the tour. Choose from time slots available throughout the day with all ziplining instruction and safety equipment included.
Make your own way to the zipline park, located in beautiful Haiku just a 25-minute drive from Kahului. When you arrive, your guides welcome you and help you to get fitted with ziplining gear including a safety harness, helmet, gloves and other equipment. You then receive a safety briefing and expert instruction on how to zipline before you head out.
At the entrance to the course, your guides make sure that you are safely attached to the zipline. Soak up some friendly encouragement and reassurance if any pre-flight jitters come up. Once you’re ready, step off the platform and soar down the zipline.
During the 2-hour experience, zip on seven different lines that run over and through a canopy of giant eucalyptus trees. Work up to the tallest lines, which reach heights of 70 feet (21 meters), extend as far as 900 feet (274 meters) and let you fly at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour (64km per hour). Also negotiate several aerial deck transfers and a suspension bridge
that swings between the trees. You can even try some aerial dance moves while flying along.
Your adventure unfolds against the vibrant scenery of the Pacific Ocean, the North Shore and
perhaps even a rainbow. First timers and experienced zipline enthusiasts alike can enjoy this course and learn about Maui’s history, wildlife and culture when your guides share stories about the Hawaiian islands.

This was one of the most fun experiences we had! However, if you're looking for scenic ziplines through rain forests and past waterfalls, you might want to look elsewhere! But we were not fussed - such an amazing experience. We did have a mix up with the booking though - so definitely call to confirm!

This was a great adventure! My kids and I had an amazing time gliding through the terrain of Maui. The crew was so knowledgeable about the area, were very fun and kept us all laughing. The equipment and zip lines were well maintained and safe. If you forget your sunscreen, don't worry, there is some there for you to use. We also had the pleasure of eating some of the local fruit that grew on the trees on the property, they were delicious. I felt is was easier than stated in other post to find the location, I had no difficulties at all. I would recommend this tour if in Maui.

This zip line was amazing! Perfect for families. Took our 8 and 10 yr old girls. We all loved it. So much more fun then when we zip lined in Mexico. Frodo and danger Dane were the best guides. Must do on Maui!

The guides were awesome. They were funny, entertaining and respectful. But most important they were safe I work in safety construction, at heights , they were the ones to strap you in and double check your gear. My 8 yr old nephew had an awesome time and as soon as it was over asked if we could do it again. There was a little 6 yr old girl who was having the time of her life and the guides were going tandem with her because she was not quite big enough. There was also an older woman who after the first run was terrified and said she did not think she could go on...... they talked her thru it, reassured her and she was able to complete the zipline trip. The guides did a great job. Well worth it. Just do it and enjoy it!!!

I've ziplined in many states and many countries but Northshore Zipline has to be one of the best, and principally for two reasons. First, it is professionally run and with state-of-the-art equipment. Second, our two guides, AJ and Michelle, were superb. They knew how to make guests enjoy the experience but do it safely.
