From Maui, embark on a small-group adventure to Molokini, a crescent-shaped volcanic crater located between the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Kahoʻolawe.
Skip over the waves on a comfortable and speedy military-inspired, eco-friendly raft to the Molokini Crater, where you will snorkel with tropical fish, rays and various other wildlife. As the first boat to arrive at the crater, the waters will be uncrowded. Here, you'll also enjoy a delicious continental breakfast. Water visibility at this prime diving and snorkeling spot often reaches 180 feet (55 meters)! If you need a break, relax on the boat’s comfy pontoons and soak up the sun. After snorkeling in the crater, head to the backside of Molokini Crater, a place many people rarely see, for another snorkeling experience.
On your way to your final snorkeling destination, 'Turtle Town,' hug the Maui coastline and view the island’s most recent lava flow on the way to beautiful La Perouse Bay. The bay is a natural habitat for the Hawaiian spinner dolphin, so keep a look out and get your camera ready!
At 'Turtle Town,' jump in the water and swim with the friendly Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles! After snorkeling with the turtles, refuel with a deli lunch before heading back to Maui.

Excellent tour! The folks running the tour were so efficient - they had everything in order when we arrived and we headed out promptly. The boat was very comfortable, we were some of the first at the crater, and we saw lots of fish. We then went to the back of the crater for another great experience. It was whale season and we could hear the whales as we snorkeled. Very cool. We hit two more spots and again, lots of fish and turtles. Although it was extremely windy, they guides took us to calmer waters for the latter dives - the one with the turtles was another awesome experience. Food was very good and there was plenty for everybody. They even paused for a little whale watching as there were whales a short distance from the boat on the way out to the crater - they shared more about the whales than the guides on our actual whale-watching tour we took later on our vacation different company.... I definitely recommend this tour!

Fantastic trip. 4 snorkel stops was awesome. First stop at Molokini at the crater and then behind the crater. WOW what views behind the crater. Then we seen some dolphins while going to our 3rd stop near the snore of Kihei and looked for some turtles. Didnt see any there but on our last stop we seen plenty of turtles....great and fun crew. 5 stars because Jen and I could not give you 10 starts. Will post to tripadvisor soon with some photos.

This trip was amazing. The boat was very comfortable, we were first on the crater, and we saw tons of fish and coral at a relaxed pace all while being able to stop at a whopping four dive spots. Breakfast and lunch were both delicious and plentiful. Seth was a great captain, very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that the experience and comfort of the guests are this company's top priority! I would definitely recommend to anyone with an adventurous spirit visiting Maui.

A Fantastic snorkel experience! Loved the fast boat allowing us to get to the spot before all the others. Our guides Sean and Jason were easy going, knowledgeable, and just a lot of fun. The smaller group setting was a plus, allowing for individual attention and a great time.

Brilliant trip to the extraordinarily clear waters of Molokini both inside the crater and at the back wall. Then La Perouse Bay, lava sheets and swimming with green turtles. Superbly led by the entertaining and knowledgeable captain Seth and first mate Kelly. We had a great time- it was one of the best day trips we have ever had.

Seth and Kate were excellent guides on our trip. They greeted us with coffee when we arrived at 630 a.m. the warm cinnamon rolls came a little later. The early start was absolutely worth it as we were one of the first boats to arrive at Molokini for great snorkeling. We saw lots of colorful fish and coral. They took us around to the back side of Molokini for a quick snorkel in the deep blue. Seth had a great soundtrack to go along with our journey which took us to view some of the more recent 230 years old lava flows and then to two spots to snorkel with green turtles. Kate was very knowledgeable about the local sea life. Each of our guides were personable and seemed to genuinely care that we had a worthwhile experience. The boat ride was heaps of fun, but be prepared to do some rocking and rolling and to get wet! You will not regret going with this company.

Tim and Kelly were great! They did a great job giving us a mix of info about the islands, wildlife, history, etc. and were generally really friendly. We lucked out and saw several humpback whales less than 50 ft from the boat, including when they swam underneath us. Unfortunately it was a bit windy and not the best snorkeling conditions, but the whales made up for it!

We had the best time. Our two guides never saw this. We ended up snorkeling on top of a whale right off Molokini. The whale made its way under our boat back and forth several times in a playful way. Amazing. We will never forget. This tour is for experienced snorkelers. No help provided to beginners or anyone with concerns about safety in the big ocean!

We had a wonderful time, and were only sad that it had to come to an end. The guides Tim and Chase tailor the experience to your group and make sure it's not the same cookie cutter adventure every time. It also helped that we had a great friendly group. They even included food, worth getting up a little bit early - not too early - and the goal is to allow everyone their own time line and to see what they wanted to see for most, it was the turtles.

Had a brilliant day out with our guides Chase and Andy, they were knowledgeable, friendly and funny dudes. We saw dolphins on the way, checked out Molokini and had an awesome time. The provided equipment and meals were great. I couldn't recommend this trip more, looking forward to doing it again next visit. Just remember to wear a ton of sunblock and keep reapplying folks...my fiancee and I are a bit uhh, 'lobster-ish' from it. NO REGRETS.

Sean and Alex were above our expectations!!!! They were very personable and helpful. Sean stopped several times and gave great history and science lessons about Maui and surrounding volcanos. We want to four different dive sites each was amazing.

Small group makes it faster to jump from one spot to the next. You snorkel inside the crater, the back side, and La Perouse bay which is where the sea turtles are. Earlier start means calmer seas, and not having to deal with other group crowds. Ride back was choppy, but was cool with 80s rock music.

Seth and Shane were excellent guides and knew what they were doing and where they were going. We had an excellent time snorkeling Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. Everyone was very friendly because Seth and Shane were great at including us all in their communication, and knew a lot about the areas where we traveled. The boat ride was fun and smooth.

This tour was the way to go...Our guides, Tim and Kelly, took great care of our small group. Giving us various history on our way to Molokini. We were also able to snorkel the backside of the crater. On the way to La Perouse Bay to see recent lava flows, some bottle-nose dolphins swam around us. Lots of turtles in turtle town. At no point were we rushed at any of our stops. The tour revolved around us and not the clock! A delicious deli lunch was provided before we headed back to round out the day. This tour is a definite must do!

Best guides: Kiki and Alex. Only 20 people in the boat and you get to snorkel the backside of the crater which was amazing. Saw 10 dolphins at La Perouse bay, and if you're luck, snorkel with them. We swam with 5 sea turtles at turtle cove.

Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Within our first 20 minutes we were lucky enough to see two hump back whales, had a wonderful time snorkeling. We saw beautiful fish, coral and two sea turtles. Kelly and Keki always kept an eye on everyone and made sure we had a great trip.

Ok, this costs more than the other tours but it is worth the price. First, you need to get up earlier, but that means when you get to snorkeling the other boats have not arrived! Second, if the weather is right, you hit the other side of Molokini, awesome 140 deep view. Kelly and Seth were awesome. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles as well as the reef fish. There was an amazing boat ride at high rev down the coast. So yes, dig deeper and do this one, it is worth it. Food was great.

The trip was great, the guides were sooo nice, the food was very good and the snorkeling spots were top-notch! We stopped 4-5 times, although the last one was after lunch when everybody was full :-_br/_ However, we saw plenty of turtles, snorkeled Molokini front and back into the blue, saw Delphins, aso.. i highly recommend this tour! No complains at all!

The tour with this group was outstanding. We were greeted at the launch site by our leaders who explained just what to expect, fitted with wet suits and off we went. The ride to Molokini was wonderful on the beautiful Hawaiian morning and we arrived at Molokini before most of the bigger boats got there. The snorkeling was spectacular! On getting back into the boat, one of our party has knee issues and the ladder to re-enter the boat was very difficult. The staff were wonderful and provided help, but be warned - if knee issues are a problem for you, this may not be the correct tour to take. The rest of the day was a wonderful experience except for the turtle adventure. The turtles were few and far between, and difficult to find. I guess I sort of expected more of a Turtle Refuge with tons of the guys swimming around. The use of the words Turtle Town in the tour description is a bit misleading. However, all in all, a great day with lots of fun snorkeling with two very good guides. The experience is highly recommended!

LOVED it - the trip was great. The guides did a great job of handling newbies/fraidy cats like me about the snorkeling and more experienced and adventurous people. I was nervous I would feel out of place. The boat ride was GREAT - they were knowledgeable and kept a good commentary with all of us. Everybody seemed equally pleased. Would DEFINITELY do this again and hope to get the same guides again.

This was a great experience and a must-do for Maui visitors! Very different from just snorkeling off of the beach as you get to boat into deeper waters next to Molokini and experience the awesome island and all of the beautiful reefs, corals, and colorful fish. _br/_
Seth, our tour guide and raft driver, was excellent as he had so much information about everything we were seeing and about Hawaii in general. He has a great personality and sense of humor, and played some great music on the boat ride as well. Definitely recommend this tour!!!
