Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Memphis. Ghost stories were few and far between. It was more a historical tour than ghost tour. There was too much lag time and guide really didn't watch whole group but conversed with a couple of young women throughout. We wouldn't book this tour again as we've had better ones in Nashville and New Orleans.

Our guide on the ghost tour was knowledgeable enough and answered all questions without any hesitation. Some of the tour was interesting but not what we expected. I had my granddaughter with me. She is very much into ghosts and supernatural. However, this tour was not into much of that and as I said before, just not what we expected.

Very nice tour. No ghosts, not even a hint, but the stories were interesting, and it was a good historic background of Memphis. Our tour guide was great, and we had a good time.

Very informative tour. Tour guide did an excellent job of telling the stories of Memphis history.

One of the better ghost tours I have taken. One of the people caught the ghost orbs in her camera. Very good and good guide.

It is a lot of walking! Memphis is not so scary and the guide/storyteller did not help it along. Charleston, SC has a lot more creep factor to offer making this one a bit boring and disappointing.

she told us lots of information while walking

This tour was Ok, but much of the area was also covered by the Memphis Coach Tour, all but the inside tour of the bar shown in the photo. For someone who does not believe in ghosts, it did not do much for me.

The history of the Memphis area was very interesting. The female tour guide really tried to entertain us,however, the new recruit she was training left much to be desired. I would not recommend this tour.

Fun way to spend an evening in Memphis. We googled the stories when we got back to the hotel to read more about what we had learned. Appropriate for 10

Our tour guide Michael was awesome. He was informative and a great story teller. He seemed to be able to be everyone and #39;s friend by the end of the tour.

Tour guide was very nice. Lots of walking. I was a little disappointed that we only went in to one actual location. I guess I was looking for a little more suspense.

This was mine and my husbands first ghost tour. Not our cup of tea sadley but eveyone else seemed to have a great time. Lovely to walk around the city with the guide and visit places not in the tourist traps

This was our first tour our guide was AMAZING! Unfortunately I can not remember his name : He definitely knew his history of Memphis! I would definitely take another tour with him to learn more. Money well spent!

The young lady who was our guide was excellent. I just wish we could have went inside more of the buildings. Just hearing the stories could have been done with a recording. Nothing happened on the walk, so to me it was a waste of money.

The tour was great and our guide was very good keeping all glued to the scary stories but weather wise think maybe one of the coldest nights we experience in Memphis but would recommend this as_br/_ great fun.

We had a great time, our guide was a lot of fun. If you're in Memphis and looking for something off the beaten path this is it...

This was the most fun I had in Memphis. The guide was entertaining and knowledgable and the walk around the town was easy and informative. I got a little spooked.

This was fun and very interesting. Walking in the group at night, I felt safe. It was a little hard to hear so it is important to stay close to the guide.

Was disappointed with this. The young girl who did this tour was enthusiastic but went off at tangent many times and thought we would have been taken inside more than one building when hearing about supposed ghosts but perhaps expected a little too much.

Great tour for the price! Listened to some great ghost stories as we were taken round. Guide was very friendly and answered any questions we had to ask. Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend!

The Ghost Walk did do exactly what the brochure said but it was so hot and we got chewed up by mosquitoes. Our guide didn't engage the group when he told the stories. Wasn't very exciting and I have been on Ghost Walks in every city I travel to.

I have to say I didn't even go, because it was just me and my son and I was scared of being in that area with him at night. I did not like the area at all. Maybe if I had my husband with me it would've been ok.

The Memphis Ghost Tour is a history lesson on its city. Its great to listen to ghost stories however not what I was looking for.

The guide was very informative. My niece is very sensitive to these type of ghost tales. When she got close to the radiator at Ernestine and Hazels she all of a sudden felt real funny and ended up throwing up on the steps as she was coming down. The guide said this was the first time he ever made anyone throw up and he is going to mention her on every tour.

Went with a 9 and 10 year old boys. Although we did not see any spirits the kids and myself learned a lot of history and saw some cool sights. My son came home telling family about the stories he heard. There is a visit to a former brothel but the information was relayed tactfully and age appropriate.

Guide Erica was great! Enjoyed her energy. Even the locals in the group were pleasantly surprised to see/learn places they hadn't seen/heard of. Great to have Lil' extra time at some places for drinks as it was very hot even at night. A Must Do if you are in Memphis!!
Review by: Tammy T, June 2013
I loved the Ghosts Walking Tour but it should be called a evening history tour because that was basically what it was. I wasn't spooked by any ghost stories. Our guide was very informative. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the area. _br/_
The ghost stories were not scary and were more speculation than anything.

Wow!! The SCARIEST ghost tour we've ever been on!! New Orleans, San Francisco, Nashville ghost tours wasn't as scary as this one. Meaghan (our guide) was energetic and really made the tour experience fantastic! I cannot rate this tour enough. Memphis sure has some history from way back when up to modern times. I couldn't sleep that night and as for the last stop at 'ernestine and Hazel's ' well..... I was that spooked that three of us stayed downstairs. Well worth the money!!! This experience will stay with me as long and as vividly as the stories also have stayed with me!! Fantastic!!!
