Lake Como Cruise and Brunate Panoramic View(Nov - March)Departing from central Milan in the morning, take a 1-hour drive up to Como, arriving around 10am. Take a guided tour of the city and then ride the funicular up to the town of Brunate, one of the best places to soak up a sweeping panorama of the city and the lake. You'll then have free time for lunch (own expense) in Brunate before the highlight of your afternoon: a Lake Como cruise.
Board the boat at the Como city center and then sit back and relax on a 1-hour cruise around the breathtaking lake. Admire the splendid lakeside villas and keep an eye out for Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, a luxurious hotel with tropical gardens.
After your Lake Como cruise, you'll have free time to shop, sightsee and grab some coffee if you wish before heading back to Milan around 4:30pm. On the way back, you'll stop to visit the Basilica of Sant'Abbondio, a notable church built in the 11th century in Romanesque style. You'll arrive in Milan in the evening.

Take a tour of the city and enjoy free time to shop at local boutiques for fine Italian goods. Then, board a boat at the Como city center for your extended 2-hour cruise on Lake Como.
Soak up picturesque views as you make your way to Bellagio, one of the many scenic villages surrounding the lake. You'll have free time to explore this delightful town on your own and have lunch (own expense). Back on board, savor the last views of Lake Como as you cruise to Cadenabbia, where you'll hop on the coach and head back to Milan, arriving around 6:30pm.
The train ride was comfortable and nice. I went with my husband, 16 month old son and my parents. We each had a great time and enjoyed this thoroughly. Lake Como is just stunning!

Horrible. This biggest disappointment in our wonderful 15 day vacation in Europe. The guide added little or nothing to the experience and all he seem to know about the area was George Clooney had a place there. I counted him using Clooney's name over 100 times. The communication equipment did not work. The guide blamed it on the CIA protecting Clooney's place when he was in town --I kid you not! The boat portion of the tour was an overloaded boat made up of multiple tours. The rails were 3 deep in passengers. Getting any pictures was impossible. Wasted money. Seeing Lake Como is something you should do while visiting Milan but find another company to work with.

Tour guide was informative. Downside of Tour, we had to stand for 2 hours on the boat ride on Lake Como to Bellagio because boat was packed to capacity. Tour guide should have gathered the group together earlier for boarding the boat.

This trip was excellent. We were given plenty of time in Como to wander and have lunch. We found a good, cosy, atmospheric bar for lunch, called Viola Bacco on Via Emanuel, very good price and great beer. The boat trip was wonderful, we sat on the top for good views, even if cold, but it was worth it. Yes, an amazing day out and very well organised.

Even though the weather didn't co-operate, this tour went rather well. A few small changes here and there could make it even better. Such as, the duration of the cruise on lake Como could have been made longer, if necessary by increasing the duration of the tour itself.

We enjoyed TWO Viator excursions while in Milan this spring March 2018. Both were well organized and brought to life by excellent guides who knew their subjects exceedingly well!! On our second day in Milan we took the morning Culture Tour which brought us to some of the most splendid sights of the city. Later in the week our foursome my wife, my sister and her husband, and I had a great time on the Lake Como excursion. Though it was a bit wet and foggy that day, we had a marvelous experience all 'round.

A fun day trip from Milano. Guides were excellent and a great way to get an overview of the lake and see unbelievable homes. It was raining when we started, but there’s a large covered section on the boat which provided warmth and shelter. Lunch on the boat was ok - instead get food before boarding.

Great walking tour of the city of Como and Brunate after a funicular ride. We had 3 hrs of free time so we walked to the Volta Lighthouse to see the panoramic view of the lake below with plenty of time to walk around Como for lunch and shopping. Unfortunately we went on a Monday so many of the mom and pop shops were closed. Still had plenty open for souvenirs. Back to Milan by 5:30pm.

This was the most amazing tour of our entire trip. The wonderful day started with a comfortable drive to Lake Como and a trip up the mountain on a funicular train which provided fantastic views from the top. Then we had an amazing boat ride on Lake Como and saw the numerous beautiful villas that line the shores of the lake. We ended the boat ride in the quaint town of Bellagio which allowed us to take an interesting walk through the cobbled streets. after an amazing day in this stunning part of Italy we returned to Milan. This was an amazing tour with friendly guides and informative as well as beautiful. It is highly recommended.

Lake Como is absolutely beautifu. The furnicular ride to the top of the leads to absolutely breathtaking views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. We did the ferry tour of the lake -- enjoyed seeing the villas. The walking tour of the town of Como was enjoyable. I highly recommned this tour.

This was a 9 hour day trip to Lake Como in the winter we went in Nov - meet at 9 am and back to Milan by 6pm. Actual trip consisted of 2 hour travel to and fro, a funicular ride to Brunate, a walking trip around Como town and a 1 hour lake cruise round trip ferry which was too short!, a 2 hour lunch break and another 45 min free time after cruise. The entire guided tour was probably only 3 hours. The tour was in both English and Spanish and felt that the guide had to rush through with the explanations at each stop. Would have preferred a tour entirely in one language. The trip might be worth it in the summer when the lake cruise is longer and includes a visit to Bellagio. Otherwise, would suggest to do a self guided trip.

This was our first on our 10 day trip to Italy. Lake Como and Bellagio. Plenty of time to explore on foot the little towns. Also recommend bringing some snacks on the 2.5 hour boat ride. My husband and I brought our own bottle of wine and we were the envy of all the passengers. : Recommend a walk at Bellagio to a restaurant call La Punta. Beautiful scenery!!

Our ticket said that we were to have a monolingual English tour, but it turned out to be in Spanish and English, which is not so bad, but the reception on our radio units was not always the best, and I'm sure there were things that I didn't get.

Wonderful day trip, we decided to base ourselves in Milan and took day trips to lake Como, Swiss alps, and Torino, all through Viator._br/_ Travel made easy. The best part of the trip was the lunch on the cruise whilst watching the beautiful scenery pass by. Well worth the additional cost. We travelled from Milan on their bus and the trip back was exciting travelling on such a narrow winding road with an excellent driver._br/_ The time in Como itself was rather short. Half the time was spend in finding a toilet to do a toilet stop. Suggest if you can hold on until you get on the cruise. Definitely don't go to MacDonalds as you can wait half an hour to get to the toilet!!_br/_ Our walk around Bellargio was a great experience.

This tour is a must do. The scenery was amazing and arriving at Como we had a short guided tour and then free time before cruising along the lake. It's so beautiful and our guide pointed out lots of interesting things along the way and also celebrity villas including George Clooney's. From start to finish, this trip was spectacular. Our tour guide, Maurice, was clear about meeting points and made sure we did not miss anything noteworthy during our journey. I opted to pay extra for the lunch on the boat and you should too. For less than 20 euros we had salad, bread, wine, creamy risotto topped with thinly sliced fish, and dessert. This was my third tour with Zani Viaggi and again I came away in awe of the value I received. Lake Como, as well as the surrounding towns we visited on this tour were bellissimo!

An excellent well-organised trip from the Visitors Centre in Milan. Leaves at 8.30am, an hour's journey up to Como by coach, time there to look around for an hour or so before taking a 2-hr boat trip up to Bellagio. You had the option of taking a sandwich with you, having lunch onboard 19, or eating in Bellagio when you got there around 2pm. Beautiful area with wonderful scenery. Our guide Eddie pointed out all the sights and was very informative. Back in Milan for 6.30pm, a great day out and excellent value for money.
