This trip was amazing. Our guide Cheree and our driver Anthony were top notch. They pointed out things along the way and gave a great history over. The country is absolutely beautiful. The Black River Safari was nice, we saw plenty of crocodiles and the guide was very good. The included lunch was amazing, of course it was jerk chicken with rice and peas, but it was the best I had during my whole trip. YS Falls was beautiful. We had plenty of time to explore, swim and relax before heading back to the bus. I would definitely recommend this tour. Amazing

Although the road trip was a bit long it was well worth it. The bus had to navigate Montego Bay traffic jams both ways from our hotel Rose Hall Beaches and getting south for part of the journey was on a twisting, hilly road. The boat trip at Black River was very scenic and we saw crocodiles and many birds. Lunch there was tasty and served promptly. YS Falls was beautiful and dips in the pools were very refreshing. Lovely and Enjoyable! Mamade our tour guide was very knowledgeable fun and entertaining. I liked the fact that our group was small 7 including myself and we all connected. The lunch to was quite delicious. The falls was breathtaking the river cruise I thoroughly enjoyed with all It's wild life.

My husband and I just recently took this tour and we really enjoyed the sights and the guide was very informative. The lunch after the trip was authentic Jamaican food and very delicious. We recommend taking this tour. YS falls absolutely beautiful. The entire area was just paradise. A must do tour!!

Incredible trip. Long ride made. So much fun with MaMa D, our guide whose combination of interesting facts with great humor had us there before we knew it. The Black River is a must for nature lovers with several up close encounters with crocodiles and many types of birds. The guide was really knowledgebable and courteous. The short ride to US falls led to an incredible view of the many tiered falls, complete with a Garden swing and several pools to bath in as well as two swimming pools. The ride home was so much fun with our guide and our driver, Norris keeping us amused and happy. This trip was worth the price.

This is a nice tour, but should be done if you were at a resort on the south side of the island. The bus ride is long and takes up the major part of your day. We did like the tour though. it was a nice cruise down the river and we saw many crocodiles and birds. The falls are fun to play in, if the day is hot. The water is colder than you would expect for Jamaica.

This was a great tour! The roads from Montego Bay across to Black River are a little windy and narrow, particularly on a bus. It provided a little more fun on the ride over. It was great to see the scenery and small villages of Jamaica as we crossed the mountains to Black River._br/_ The ride along the Black River was fascinating! Our boat guide was very knowledgeable and provided insight to the crocodiles habits and habitat as well as the local fishing customs and other wildlife in the area._br/_ YS falls is amazing and lots of fun. I haven't been to the Dunn's River falls so can't compare, but from info that I have read, this is much less commercial and not nearly as crowded. It made a great afternoon stop before the return trip across the hills.

The tour was amazing and we got to see a lot of crocodiles. Our tour guide Nicola and driver Anthony were simple the best. They were right on time and even picked us up at our Villa, which was unexpected. We loved seeing the mountains and the people of Jamaica. The food was authentic and delicious. This was a fantastic tour. I even got to pet a croc. I would recommend this tour to everyone. The YS falls are a lot less crowded than Dunns River Falls and no tourist trap like Dunns River. No one doing the hard sell here._br/_ Although, Viator messed up on the tour date and I had to get it fixed when I was in Jamaica. Good thing I called to confirm like it said to on the paper. This tour was not offered on March 10.

This is a long day from Montego Bay, but worth it. The black river cruise was very nice, the boat guides are great and they really interact with the crocodiles. We saw many crocodiles and birds on the trip. From there it was a short drive after lunch to YS falls recreation area. The falls are beautiful with many nice swimming pools under each of the falls. We had no problems with bugs even though they say to use bug spray. This was February when we did this tour and enjoyed the day.

Great seeing the crocodiles on the river tour - otherwise very relaxing trip. I enjoyed the spicy lunch. YS falls were beautiful unfortunately we couldn't swim in pools due to exceptional weather thunder and lightening and were instructed to get out of pool. Managed to get a couple of photos though from guide who helped us in and out of falls. He didn't ask for a tip but hovered expectantly. We obliged

Did you ever shake hands with a crocodile? Our guide did. That's what I call getting up close and personal with nature. The river trip was educational. Lunch was simple and good. But the falls! Oh my, they are fabulous! If you love waterfalls, don't miss this trip. The falls are more beautiful than Dunn's River Falls. Our guide Desrine was delightful and informative -- always willing to answer questions.

The Black river is nice with beautiful landscape just saw about 3 crocodiles. and the lunch was just ok 3_br/_
YS Falls is much better so beautiful! but only 1hour to spend there so hurry up!_br/_
The only big issue I got is less than 24h before my trip the local agency call me to notify me for a change in my trip. She ask me 24 more to make the Appleton estate tour with my package and the obligation to do it and to pay!!! So be careful your trip could change bring extra cash!

Very low-key tour, but so pleasant and relaxing! It's simply a pontoon boat or something like that ride up and down the river. The day I went was gorgeous for it and it was a great way to get close up to crocodiles and the birds. The guides throw food in the water to entice the crocodiles into action for your photo frenzy pleasure, but if they have already been fed, they aren't going to do much... but that's not a reflection of this tour and a matter of timing. All in all, a great trip.

The bus tour provided us an excellent view of the real Jamaica._br/_
The Black River cruise was very interesting with fantastic nature photo opportunities. The boat is a big pontoon boat... Sit in the front!_br/_
They focus a lot on the crocodiles, but there is so much more. The cruise takes _br/_
45 minutes followed by a lunch. The lunch was not a high point but edible._br/_
Then an hour drive to get to the falls. _br/_
The entire YS Falls experience was a total pleasant surprise. You could spend an entire day at the falls alone with kids. In addition to the very picturesque falls, there are activities such as: rope swings, wading pond, 3 separate swimming pools-each a different temperature -all surrounding a bar, a restaurant and a gift shop. _br/_
There is also ample changing area. _br/_
Swimming shoes would be the best, but if this is not something you have, tennis _br/_
shoes would be the way to go._br/_
Our tour guide was fun, but it would have been nicer to have history and culture _br/_
as a part of the long bus ride. Bring a couple hundred extra bucks for tips _br/_
(which they do not feel shy asking for) and drinks and or gift shop._br/_
Would visit YS Falls again but would most likely make just a day trip of the _br/_
falls alone.

The river tour was good and we did get to see crocodiles. Even though it was cloudy, some of the crocs were out nd swam close enough for good photo ops. The trip to the WS Falls was gorgeous without all the hype of Dunn River and guides there take photos with visitors own cameras. The swimming pool was beautiful and relaxing. Lunch was marginal - but our objective was the tour and not the lunch. Definitely would recommed this tour.

Just check the dates as ours got moved forward a day as not enough people booked in!

Great tour! We saw a few crocodiles! A very relaxing tour, no hassle, noone will be after you for tips or trying to sell you things every five minutes. YS Falls was great, very enjoyable and the guides were fun, friendly and caring. Everyone tipped them because we wanted to, not because we were harrassed into doing it. Go for it, great tour.

I thought that the YS Falls is a must do and would have liked to have a bit more time there. My husband does not swim but the locals, for a tip of course, have it set up so that they will safely guide you into the falls. They will take pictures for you with your own camera. We had a fellow that just kept snapping away. It was great. On the down side, I felt that our tour bus guide could have been a little livelier, but we all have an off day. The traveling time is very long to get from point A to B. The lunch that was provided was a hot meal and was good.
