Unfortunately our experience on the tour was awful. Our tour guide had a very heavy French accent, that was extremely difficult to understand. plus a serious stutter and a speech impediment. This is not to offend this man, however he should not be doing theJob he is when he cannot speak clearly and concisely. There were many other people who felt the same way. Besides the tour guide, the microphone system was not good . It crackled loudly and was very distressful for my partner who was wearing hearing aids. E said the noise was almost unbearable. While we visited some nice sites and enjoyed the scenery, we did not understand ANY of the comment.

Really good afternoon.

Although it clearly states they take digital or paper tickets, nowhere does it say you have to go to the ticket office (near the dock) to exchange a digital ticket for paper ones. This is very outdated. Tour does not go far, just within the port, but staff were pleasant and boat was nice.

Great service, knowledgeable guide and a clean ship. Totally recommend

While the boat itself was just fine, there was no commentary at all on our tour. The ride was not particularly scenic, which I would have been okay with if there had been someone talking about the history of Montreal as the description indicated. This was a serious disappointment and I do not recommend it.

I enjoyed this leisurely trip on part of such a great river with its great history. Able to get a good perspective of Montreal from the river.

This was a lovely way to learn about and see the history of Montreal. A perfect day for being on the water. The drinks were great and staff was pleasant.

We sailed along the port of Montréal for 3/4 off the cruise! We don't make a cruise to see containers and freightships!

Good price for what you get. The boat was not crowded so getting a seat on the upper deck and drink/food service was great. Comfortable and informative!

Fabulous tour. All the cruise staff was super friendly and professional. Cruising on the beautiful St. Lawrence river was a great experience, must recommend.

It's a loss of time. The 16:00 boat barely gets away from the shore, it takes too long making maneuvers. We almost only see the harbor region, that is not so beautiful lots of ugly places. The sound system is terrible, we couldn't hear anything the guide said on the top deck loud speakers. I wouldn't spend my money on it.

the day we took this cruise it was raining so at times it was hard to see things. unfortunately there is not a lot to see on this cruise as the Montreal waterfront is not very interesting except for a few parts._br/_ seeing a cargo container shipping point is not very exciting.

Very nice afternoon or actually ninety minutes... on the water. They changed our tour time from the morning 11am to afternoon 2 pm, but gave us plenty of notice and we easily arranged our day a bit differently. The guide was GREAT in both English and French and he could be heard all over the vessel, even the outside decks, which I highly recommend on a nice day. Bring the sunscreen, hat, and light jacket, or you can easily just come inside and view everything clearly through the floor to ceiling windows. Didn't have any eats or drinks so I can't review, other than to say they are available, but if you're down in Old Port save your appetite for one of the little cafes on shore. Easy walk from any of the downtown hotels we were at Hyatt Regency The tour gives a very nice overview of Montreal, so it would be best to do the tour up front and get an early idea of what is located where.

We did the short up-the-river tour. While the two-language tour audio presentation was odd for someone from the Deep South in the U.S., I understood it was necessary. Boat was clean, easy to move around on and they did a good job of showing plenty of landmarks along the river. Definitely check it out.

I enjoyed the commentary provided by the young lady conducting the tour. She was very knowledgeable, and provided great information about the sites we were seeing. The only draw back was that were unable to see the old parts of the old parts of the city I thought we would be able to see from the water portion. Not really interested in grain silos but the amusement part info and other sites that we were able to see was very interesting

A lovely way to view Montreal from the water. Excellent commentary. And the weather was good! The length of the tour was just right.

I rate the tour guide a 4, she was very good. We had some interesting characters on our cruise, so maybe that has biased my ability to rate this.

Sorry to say that the Viator and engaging boating company has VERY poor relationship as for how to run the business!!!

Fairly enjoyable, but the weather was dire and the acoustics were not very clear so I couldn't always hear the guide's explanations. Otherwise, interesting to hear about the history of the river, canal and port of Montreal.

Tour guide was great, very entertaining. Would have given 5 stars had the waitress ever asked if we wanted anything from the bar. she started going methodically table to table, but never seemed to reach an entire side of the boat wfich was far from full.

The cruise was okay. It was a bit slow and I guess I was expecting the cruise would cover more distance/sights because it was an 1.5 hour long, but it maybe the size of the boat was a limitation for speed?? It was neat to hear about history of the city though.

Good tour - the boat crew are very professional but a very basic coverage of the history of Montreal can only be given in the time allotted. Nevertheless recommended for those wishing to have a view of Montreal from the St Lawrence river.

I expected a lot more to see going through the river, but not much to see. The guide is informative but might not be worth it.

Tour guide was thorough in his presentation.... Although the scheduled tour time changed from 11:00 to 2:00, the wait was worth it.

This cruise on the St. Lawrence River was informative and relaxing. This guide did a better job with his explanations than the bus driver on the City Tour. The only negative remark with this cruise is that Viator needs to give a better explanation of how to find AML Cruises. The direction on the Viator voucher states that the cruise departs from King-Edward Pier. It was a good thing that we left the hotel with extra time because our Taxi Driver did not know were King Edward Pier was and kept asking us for an address. I had to make another phone call to AML to get better directions. It would be far better if you stated on your voucher that to find AML and King-Edward Pier you should enter at the Science Center roadway. This is a large building visible from the street. AML and the pier is at the end of the dock and not at all visible from the street. We were beginning to panic thinking we were going to miss the cruise.

Beautiful boat. Great cruise. Only issue was it seemed to drag a but as scenery and tour guide became redundant at some points.
