We got there very early in the morning and was very tired. So this was a great way to get acquainted with the city! It was a very hot day as well which was unusual I think and nice to relax and stay out of the hot sun! We enjoyed this tour very much!

The hop-on hop-off tour is a great way to cover the vast territory of Moscow from the campus of Moscow State University on the heights overlooking the Moscow River to the heart of Red Square. It was nice not having to navigate the maze of Moscow's efficient metro system and be bused from from major tourist site to another. The opportunity to combine the two options, one in the immediate neighborhood of the Kremlin and the other ranging widely through out the metropolis provided us with a most satisfying grasp of this fascinating city.

Great tour! very recommendable, the only thing is that we paid two-day tickets but apparently the one-day ticket would have allowed the second day anyway, not 100 sure though. We anyway used it during one day only so I'd say one day is enough.

Go round the green tour first then go round again and stop off where you want to explore further. Red tour mad as always in traffic you can walk quicker but it was Christmas. Moscow is beautiful. If you start on the tour around 11am you have till 11am the next day as 24hrs breaks it up a little. There are obvious must do's but there is so much more wish we could of done more of the Metro stations they are amazing.

nice bus and warm as it was cold outside. there was a lot of traffic and the bus had problems making it timely. we jumped off halfway to see Red Square and did not jump back on as we had to get to the airport for a flight.

Well, no-one could help the pouring rain, but our Kremlin guide Irina did very well nonetheless. She knew all about all the buildings, and it was most interesting to see inside the three cathedrals. I think for today's media to refer to the Russian government as 'the Kremlin' is most misleading, a hangover from the days when the Communist government operated from one building on that site._br/_ Rev. We were able to board a bus almost immediately. Condition of bus was fine and the audio jacks worked and was easy to understand. Downside is that Moscow traffic around the Kremlin area is VERY congested and bus was caught in standstill traffic. Reasonable price for bus compared to other countries in Europe.

Because the information on my voucher said "The route begins at Red Square", I went to Red Square at approx 9:45. But Red Square was a huge area. I had to call the local number (which wasn't contactable before 10:00) to ask where exactly at Red Square. Then I was told to go to behind St. Basille Cathedral. I waited there for 50 minutes until a bus showed up. It looks like the first bus doesn't really begin at 10:00 AM as mentioned. Otherwise, given a 20 minutes interval of time (bus comes every 20 minutes) I should have met a bus before that 50 minutes. It couldn't be because of traffic jam either, because it was Sunday morning and I saw it myself, the streets were still quiet at that time. I strongly suggest Viator to put in more specific information.

Ok for the money, and worth a circuit on the bus. However catching the bus was slightly difficult. We have to go to the info centre near red square to find where to get it from. Other bus stops around the circuit are not well posted either.

It was absolutely worth doing and the commentary was very good giving you a good historical overview, but the windows of the bus were so dirty, due to snow the day before, that it was difficult to get a good view. Moscow is an incredible city and I wish the tour had a longer route.

You do get to see the city but at a steep cost of time if you only haveBus routes overlap so you are forced to repeat 45 mins of sights you already saw. The info is different but drivers sit and wait quite a long time at certain stops to pick up more people. Take the metro and do sites on your own.

I booked and paid for this tour in advance. Its very good to take a city bus tour in Moscow. I really enjoyed it especially from the top of the bus. It had an audio interesting commentary.The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful and spoke some English which was a plus for me. However..... this ONLY works in my opinion as a City bus tour and the concept of "hop on hop off" didn't really work in Moscow. There is too much very heavy traffic, and in the end practically only about 4 places to pick up the bus on the route.The actual stops ( about 4) were not signed and were difficult to find. I expected to be able to pick up the bus at any of the 20+ stops but it was not possible because the bus may be in the centre lanes of very heavy fast traffic and have to pass by the advertised stops. As a first time visitor to Moscow it was impossible to find the actual 4 stops using the map and tour literature, as they are quite far apart and Moscow centre is not easily accessible to find your way around for pedestrians and non-speaking/reading visitors, I wouldn't advise trying to walk between attractions and stops as they were when I went on this tour- perhaps they will improve it who knows- just take the whole bus tour without getting off. One other passenger told me he had tried to hop on and hop off and got hopelessly lost between the stops and it took hours to pick up the bus again. This needs to be better organised to be a hop on and hop off bus.

Very nice tour to see the sight ,though the language was in Russian.I was more admiring the city and taking pictures.Problem I called several times it took 2 hours for the guy to respond on the phone to tell me the exact place to catch the bus.

moscow is beautifull,the people are busy running but met very nice people.we had problem finding the hop on hop off bus stations,bur after finding the bus the people were nice,the tour was good,not many people speak english,non of the sign are in english,we had good time after all.i suggest directions how to find bus like metro stops and the names in russian so you can show people to get help

Very punctual well run bus sight seeing service. Heating on-board and headphone guided tour made for an enjoyable 40 minuts trip. Possibility to hop on and off at any of the stops made this one day ticket great value.
