    The Vernisage

    The largest, world-renowned exhibition of the objects of art and applied art, created 25 years ago for artists, designers, craftsmen and artisans. Here you will find a wide range of Russian antiques, Asian souvenirs and taste national cuisine from distinctive locales of Russia and other former Soviet countries.

    The complex includes:

    Street crafts with the works of artists from Zhostovo, Palekh, Gzhel, Sergiyev Posad and other Russian cities

    Artists Alley, which exhibits the works of over 100 artists, some of whom are honored Russian artists

    You can also drop into the Russian Navy base History Museum, Museum of Bread, Museum of Russian Vodka, Museum of Russian folk toys, Pottery, Blacksmith Yard.

    The Kremlin
    Neighboring the Vernissage is the Kremlin at Izmailovo, which is a symbol of Russian old times. It develops and preserves Russian culture, crafts and traditions.

    The Tsar's Palaces
    The stunning white stone towers from 16th - 17th centuries. You will admire the colored tiles of those old days.

    Souvenirs
    The flea market gives you a wide range of Russian stuff to buy: frames, samovars, bronze ware, Russian clothes, military antiques, coins, badges, vintage jewelry, laces, books, records, ceramics, porcelain, occasional furniture.
    Don't forget to treat yourself with a traditional drink whether its tea, deer milk or vodka! Go to the Chocolate shop, a place of pure temptation even if you aren't a sweet tooth person.
    All the shops are usually open until 5 pm.

    Traditional Russian crafts  (optional, not included in price):
    You may opt to attend a lesson of traditional Russian painting of a matryoshka doll or a master class of pottery making.

    After the tour you may wish to stay a little longer at the flea market for more shopping, or else your guide can take you back to your hotel or any centrally-located place n Moscow.

    We loved this tour with our so experienced tour guide. She met us at our apartment and we took a bus to the metro...Then went on the metro together to this amazing and gorgeous flea market. We had such a good time...It's like a fairyland here...and great souvenirs! We had a blast here...Such a fun day!!! I highly recommend this tour as well if coming to lovely Moscow!

    Vera was GREAT! Not really understanding what the Kremlin in Izmaylovo was, she was careful to explain ahead of time. We took the metro to Izmaylovo had time to walk around the market and see the Kremlin. Vera is a wealth of knowledge - quite an interesting young lady. I enjoyed the excursion very much.
