Our guide was EXCELLENT. She was friendly, full of knowledge and also spoke fluent English with clear accent. We could not believe how much we learned and experienced in just five hours. If we didn't had our guide we would have spent days figuring out what we should do. So, it is a lot cheaper to book a guide instead of getting lost in google.

My daughter and I loved our private tour of Moscow City with Julia. She was able to understand exactly what we wanted to do and see in our 5 hours with her, and guided us expertly around Red Square Lenin's tomb, St. Basel's GUM with lots of information about Russia, its history, and its culture. It was exactly what we wanted on our first day in Moscow and set us up for the remainder of our 3 day visit Thank you, Julia and Viator.

This was our third day of touring with Friendly Travel Guides, we got our monies worth on the first two and day three was the icing on the cake. Julia arrived at our hotel bang on time and we walked to the Kremlin wall to get tickets for admission to add to the Armory tickets Julia had already purchased to save us time. She explained the history and use of the buildings around the walls while we waited to join the line for Lenins tomb, then on to St.Basils which was amazing, into Gum for caviar, all the time she was pointing out things of interest throughout Red Square such as the burial place of Yuri Gagarin. A bit of a walk took us out of the square and gave us the chance to see the renovations that are taking place of old buildings before we had an included Russian lunch in an amazing restaurant that we could have spent hours in, trying things and probably putting on a few pounds!_br/_ Back to the Square by Metro and then into the Kremlin where we gazed at the wonderful architecture and marveled at the exhibits._br/_ A long, full day full of interest and history, a lot of it off the normal tourist group map. Super._br/_ Terry and Holly

The tour guide was very kind and helpful.the tour itself it isnothing including just walking tour to the Kremlin but Kremlin was closed that day!Normally the tour operator have the obligatii s to have all the informations regarding the tour.So my guide made her best to replace Kremlin with something else. The tour it is very expansive for a walking tour. You have to buy all entrance tickets.Very disapointing.

I had a very short time in Moscow and wanted to get a good overview of the city sites complemented by history, culture and food. My guide Dasha met me promptly at the hotel. She had excellent suggestions on how to maximize the time and adjust the tour to my interests. We started near Red Square and then walked through Kitai Gorod and back to Red Square to see St Basil's and the GUM up close. We then went on the Metro circle line and stopped at several stations to see the post-revolution living art. She reminded me that the Metro is classified as a museum ... for good reason. We then headed to Novodevichy monastery area where we had a Georgian hachapuri and dumpling lunch. After getting tickets to the Kremlin, we said our goodbyes. It was the best half day tour I have taken!

The tour was fantastic! Irina met us on time at our hotel and she was fluent in English. We had previously emailed her to purchase tickets to the Kremlin and the Armory. Irina was a wealth of information and she told us the history behind everything we passed. The best tour with the best guide!

Our guide met us in our hotel lobby and after meet and greet we sat down and went through the tour. Her English was very good and we got to see many different beautiful sights of Moscow and try authentic Russian cuisine at a local restaurant. The guide was excellent and I highly recommend this tour.

It was generally a good tour. Our guide, Polina, a very sweet young lady, was good for the most part. However, it seems that she is not knowledgeable enough. Inside the various Cathedrals, we had to ask her questions as she was not explaining anything. We had to listen in on other guides who were doing so with their respective groups._br/_ Also, we were informed the day of the tour that they did not get the tickets for the Armory. We were very disappointed. The excuse was that they couldn't get them as they go fast. I booked the tour on July 28. Our tour date was Aug. 25. That was not enough time to get the tickets??? The following morning, we asked our hotel if they can get tickets to the Armory and they got them within a half an hour.

Our guide spoke English well. She was energetic and knowledgeable about the Kremlin. If you want Armory tickets during tourist season make sure you book well in advance. In a previous visit we signed up for this tour on a Thursday only to find the the Kremlin is closed on Thursdays. The Viator website does not disclose that information.

The tour guide was on time and friendly but seemed to be in a rush. Missed some of the Historical explanations and less thorough than the hop on hop offs we have done in most cities. We didnt realize it was only a walk through of the Kremlin and it didnt include access to the royal jewels or any other museums on the property. We only saw one of the Cathedrals. However, we able to catch the changing of the guards which was worth it. Its a great walk through tour but would recommend a more thorough one.

The tour is a must. However it is difficult to pack so much information in the period of time available. Lucy, our wonderfull guide, not only provide the information, as it made it look simple and flowing. She use flexibility wisely to accommodate to our needs. Lucy is knowledgeable on the matter and has an impressive global culture. We had a great and fruitful time.

Our tour guide Irina picked us up from our hotel lobby right on time. She briefed us about what to expect on the tour. It was a lovely sunny day when we started out. She was a well informed guide and filled us in with a lot of Russian history. Irina spoke fluent English and organized a well paced walking tour. There was never a dull moment with her. After almost six hours of being with us and showing us the beautiful sites enroute to and at Kremlin and Red Square, she finally left us at the Armoury. She then sent us suggestions of other sites we could visit along with directions to get there. She went above and beyond her call of duty to make our Moscow experience memorable. I would definitely recommend seeing Moscow with Irina.

The Private Moscow City Tour with Red Square and the Kremlin was an excellent experience for me. My guide Gelena is such a lovely person to spend the time with. Gelena has such enormous knowledge of all aspects of this tour. I was so impressed I actually learnt quite a lot. My guide picked me up at my accommodation on time and later returned me home. My tour was not rushed and I had the time to take as many photographs as I wanted. Gelena's English skills are very good and there was no problem with communication. Thanks Gelena for a great day and I would highly recommend you and this tour, money well spent.

This tour was outstanding. My guide, Kate, tailored the tour to my interests, getting entry tickets to the Kremlin and churches, and Armoury, ahead of time, thereby saving me waiting on lines. It was raining quite hard that day, and she also thoughtfully accommodated my fear, as a senior, of slipping on the stone walkways. Thank you, Kate!

I had a fantastic experience with Anna M. from Viator. First let me say, I have been on other Viator tours, and the guides are so scripted and boring. Anna was the exact opposite she was very casual, laid back, knowledgeable, friendly and spoke excellent English shes also got this pretty fiery red hair absolutely beautiful it was like I was on a tour with a friend. She picked me up at my hotel and immediately we made small talk before starting the tour, which made me more comfortable. She asked if there was anything specific I wanted to see first and made sure to point things out along the way that we would see even if not immediately, but would give me a short description of anyway. We started by taking the underground metro where she did all the translation for me to get my tickets and immediately she talked about the metro trains why they are so deep and the history of the stations. We took the train to a stop right outside the Red Square and Kremlin and Anna showed immediately how informative and knowledgeable about Moscow she was by telling me the history of the Red Square. As an American, you truly cannot appreciate the Red Square and Kremlin until youve gained a bit about the history and what it means to Russia, and the relevance it has. I wish I could have recorded everything she told me because as I was going through my pictures, I realized how much she had shown me in such a short amount of time. Anna was so knowledgeable, whenever I asked questions, she would always share more. She would tell me later in the tour, that when she first started doing tours, she started to notice little things around Moscow and started to learn even more. Heres where the tour turned EXCELLENT: all throughout the tour we talked about places we had been, family, where I am from and at some point, I mentioned I have a daughter. she took the time to sort of customize the tour so I could get a gift for my daughter! Anna is the best!

Take this tour!! My tour guide, Dasha was the best. She picked my up at 8am on time and she showed me what we were going to see. First the Metro then to the Red Square. Lenin's Mausoleum, St Basil's Cathedral, Gum Department store, stopping for lunch, taking a lot of pictures along the way. Next we walked to the Kremlin, checking out a hugh cannon and bell before going the the Kremlin Cathedrals. So much to see. Final the Armony, Faberge eggs!. Wear comfortable shoes and expect to see beautiful Moscow. Enjoy!!

This tour was fabulous. My guide Karina picked me up at my hotel in time and showed me around Moscow by foot and metro for about 5 hours. Karina spoke English very well and was wonderfully knowledgeable about Russian history, art, and religion and answered my many questions patiently and thoroughly while showing me around the main sights of Moscow. She also took me to a very traditional a little touristy... restaurant and picked authentic dishes for me this is very much unlike the bland lunches usually included in prebooked tours!. I highly recommend this tour, esp. when you are by yourself and for the first time in Moscow. expect a lot of walking :. the tour is totally worth the money. Many Thanks!
